We say: Its evidence is His saying: "O you who have believed, believe in Allah and His Messenger and the Book that He has sent down to His Messenger and the Book that He sent down before. (Women: 136), and every verse in it that mentions that the Messenger, peace be upon him, conveyed; it indicates the obligation of accepting what he informed about the attributes of Allah; because he informed about them and conveyed them to the people. And everything he informed about; it is a message from Allah, and because the Messenger, peace be upon him, is the most knowledgeable of people about Allah, and the most sincere of people to the servants of Allah, and the most truthful of people in what he said, the most articulate in expression; thus four attributes of acceptance gather in his right: knowledge, sincerity, truthfulness, and clarity; therefore, it is obligatory upon us to accept everything he informed about his Lord, and he is, by Allah, more eloquent and sincere and knowledgeable than those people who have followed those of the rhetoricians and philosophers, and with this, he says: "Glory be to You! I cannot count Your praise; You are as You praised Yourself." His saying: "without alteration or neglect, and without likeness or representation."
