His saying: 'and from faith':

that faith in Allah includes four matters: faith in His existence, in His uniqueness in Lordship, in Divinity, and in the names and attributes;

meaning: some of the faith in Allah is faith in what He described Himself.

Either because there is no name except that it includes an attribute, or because the disagreement in names is a weak disagreement, which is not denied except by the extremists of the Jahmiyya and the Mu'tazila; for the Mu'tazila affirm the names, and the Ash'ariyyah and the Maturidiyyah affirm the names,

Either because every name includes an attribute, or because the disagreement in names is less compared to those attributed to Islam.

In His Book (the Qur'an) meaning the Quran; and Allah called it a Book; because it is written in the preserved tablet, and it is written in the scrolls in the hands of the honorable righteous scribes, and also written among the people in the Mushafs; so it is a Book in the sense of written, and Allah attributed it to Himself; because it is His speech; Glory be Him; and the Most High; so this Quran is the speech of Allah, He truly spoke it; So every letter of it; indeed, Allah has spoken with it.
