أَمَرَcommandاللَّهَAllahبِهِ،with it,وَيُبَلِّغُونَand they deliverالْوَحْيَ،the revelation,وَنَقُولُand we sayلَيْسَnotلَهُمُfor themعُقُولٌ؟!minds?!
Allah commanded this, and they deliver the revelation, and we say: Do they not have minds?!
أَحَقٌّIs it rightمِنَthanيُوَصَفُis describedبِعَدَمِwith the absence ofالْعَقْلِreasonمِنْwhoقَالَsaidإِنَّهُthat heلَاdoes notعُقُولٌmindsلَهُمُfor them!!!!
Is it right to describe someone as being without reason who said: 'They do not have minds'!!?
وَكُتُبِهِ»؛And His books;أي:that is:كُتُبُbooksاللَّهِof AllahالَّتِيthatأَنزَلَهَاHe sent downمَعَwithالرُّسُلِ.the messengers.
And His books; that is: the books of Allah that He sent down with the messengers.
وَلِكُلِّAnd for everyرَسُولٍmessengerكِتَابٍ؛a book;قَالَsaidاللَّهُAllahتَعَالَى:the Most High:﴿لَقَدْIndeed,أَرْسَلْنَاWe have sentرُسُلَنَاOur messengersبِالْبَيِّنَاتِwith the clear proofsوَأَنزَلْنَاand We sent downمَعَهُمُwith themالْكِتُبَthe booksوَالْمِيزَانَand the scale.﴾﴿[الحديد:[Al-Hadid:٢٥]،25],وَهَذَاAnd thisيَدُلُّindicatesعَلَىthatأَنَّthatكُلَّeveryرَسُولٍmessengerمَعَهُwith himكِتَابٌ،a book,لَكِنْbutلَاnotنَعْرِفُwe knowكُلَّallالْكُتُبَ،the books,بَلْratherنَعْرِفُwe knowمِنْهَاfrom themصُحُفَthe scrollsإِبْرَاهِيمَof Abrahamوَمُوسَى،and Moses,التَّوْرَاةَ،the Torah,الْإِنْجِيلَ،the Gospel,الزُّبُورَ،the Psalms,الْقُرْآنَ؛the Quran;سِتَّة؛six;لأَنَّbecauseصُحُفَthe scrollsمُوسَىof Mosesبَعْضُهُمْsome of themيَقُولُ:say:هِيَit isالتَّوْرَاةَ،the Torah,وَبَعْضُهُمْand some othersيَقُولُونَsayغَيْرَهَا،other than it,فَإِنَّهُIfكَانَتit wasالتَّوْرَاةَ؛the Torah;فَهِيَit isخَمْسَةٌ،five,وَإِنْand ifكَانَتit wasغَيْرَهَا؛other than it;فَهِيَit isسِتَّةٌ،six,وَلَكِنْbutمَعَwithذَلِكَthatنَحْنُweنُؤْمِنُbelieveبِكُلِّin everyكِتَابٍbookأَنزَلَهُthat He sent downاللَّهُGodعَلَىonالرُّسُلِ،the messengers,وَإِنْand ifلَمْdid notنَعْلَمْknowبِهِ،about it,نُؤْمِنُwe believeبِه،in itإِجْمَالًا.in general.
And His books; that is: the books of Allah that He sent down with the messengers. And for every messenger, there is a book; Allah the Most High said: "Indeed, We have sent Our messengers with clear proofs and We sent down with them the books and the scale." [Al-Hadid: 25], and this indicates that every messenger has a book, but we do not know all the books, rather we know some of them, the scrolls of Abraham and Moses, the Torah, the Gospel, the Psalms, the Quran; six; because some say: The scrolls of Moses are the Torah, while others say they are different, if it was the Torah; it is five, and if it was other than that; it is six, but we believe in every book that Allah sent down upon the messengers, even if we do not know of it, we believe in it in general.
وَرُسُلِهِ»؛And His Messengers;أيthat isرُسُلَmessengersاللَّهِof Allahوَهُمْand theyالَّذِينَwhoأَوْحَىrevealedاللَّهُAllahإِلَيْهِمْto themبِالشَّرَائِعِ،with the laws,وَأَمَرَهُمْand commanded themبِتَبْلِيغِهَاto deliver themوَأَوَّلَهُمْand their first isنُوحٌ،Noah,وَآخِرَهُمْand their lastمُحَمَّدٌ.Muhammad.
And His Messengers; that is, the messengers of Allah, and they are those to whom Allah revealed the laws and commanded them to deliver them, their first is Noah and their last is Muhammad.
الدَّلِيلُThe proofعَلَىonأَنَّthatأَوَّلَهُمْtheir first isنُوحٌNoahقَوْلُهُHis sayingتَعَالَى:the Most High:﴿﴿إِنَّاIndeed, weأَوْحَيْنَاrevealedإِلَيْكَto you,كَمَاasأَوْحَيْنَاWe revealedإِلَىtoنُوحٍNoahوَالنَّبِيِّينَand the prophetsمِنْfromبَعْدِهِafter him
The proof that their first is Noah is His saying, the Most High: "Indeed, We revealed to you as We revealed to Noah and the prophets after him."
يَعْنِي:It means:وَحْيًا؛a revelation;كِإِيحَائِنَاas We revealedإِلَىtoنُوحٍNoahوَالْنَّبِيِّينَand the prophetsمِنْfromبَعْدِهِ،after him,وَهُوَand it isوَحْيٌa revelationالرِّسَالَةِof the messageوَقَوْلُهُ:and His saying:وَلَقَدْAnd indeedأَرْسَلْنَاWe have sentنُوحًاNoahوَإِبْرَاهِيمَand Ibrahim,وَجَعَلْنَاand We madeفِيinذُرِّيَّتِهِمَاtheir offspringالنُّبُوَّةَthe prophethoodوَالْكُتُبَand the books[الحديد:[Al-Hadid:٢٦]:26]:فِيInذُرِّيَّتِهِمَا؛their offspring;أَيْ:that is:ذُرِّيَّةُthe offspringنُوحٍof Noahوَإِبْرَاهِيمَ،and Ibrahim,وَالَّذِيand whoقَبْلَbeforeنُوحٍNoahلَاnotيَكُونَbeمِنْofذُرِّيَّتِهِ.his offspring.
It means: a revelation; as We revealed to Noah and the prophets after him, and it is the revelation of the message and His saying: "And indeed We have sent Noah and Ibrahim, and We made prophethood and the books in their offspring." [Al-Hadid: 26]: In their offspring; that is: the offspring of Noah and Ibrahim, and who before Noah does not be of his offspring.
وَكَذَلِكَAnd likewiseقَوْلُهُHis sayingتَعَالَى:the Most High:﴿﴿وَقَوْمَAnd the people ofنُوحٍNoahمِّنْfromقَبْلُbeforeإِنَّهُمْIndeed, theyكَانُواwereقَوْمًاa peopleفَسِقِينَdeviants﴾﴾[الذاريات[Adh-Dhariyat٤٦]؛46];قَدْIndeed,نَقُولُ:we may say,إِنَّthatقَوْلُهُ:His saying:مِنْfromقَبْلِ:before:يَدُلُّ عَلَىindicates thatمَاwhatسَبَقَ.preceded.
And likewise, His saying, the Most High: "And the people of Noah, before, indeed, they were a deviating people." [Adh-Dhariyat: 46]; we may say that His saying 'before:' indicates what preceded.
