ثُمَّThenيُقَالُit is saidلَهُمْto them::لَقَدْIndeedجِثْنَكُمWe have gathered youبِالْحَقِّwith the truthوَلَكِنَّbutأَكْثَرَكُمْmost of youلِلْحَقِّto the truthكَرِهُونَare averse
Then it is said to them: 'Indeed, We have gathered you with the truth, but most of you are averse to the truth.'
الْمُهِمُّThe important::أَنَّهُis thatيَجِبُit is necessaryعَلَيْنَاfor usأَنْtoنُؤْمِنَbelieveبِالْمَلَائِكَةِin the angels..
The important thing is that it is necessary for us to believe in the angels.
وَكَيْفَAnd howالإِيْمَانُthe faithبِالْمَلَائِكَةِ؟in the angels?
And how is the belief in the angels?
نُؤْمِنُWe believeأَنَّهُمْthat theyعَالَمٌa worldغَيْبِيٌّof the unseenلَاnotيُشَاهَدُونَseenوَقَدْand they mayيُشَاهِدُونَ،see,إِنَّمَاratherالأَصْلُthe originأَنَّهُمْthat theyعَالَمٌa worldغَيْبِيٌّ،of the unseen,مَخْلُوقُونَcreatedمِنْfromنُورٍ،light,مُكَلَّفُونَobligedبِمَاwith whatكَلَّفَهُمْHe has tasked themاللَّهُAllahبِهِwith itمِنْofالْعِبَادَاتِthe acts of worship.وَهُمْAnd theyخَاضِعُونَare submissiveلِلَّهِto Allahعَزَّ وَجَلَّthe Exalted and Majestic,أَتَمُّthe most completeالْخُضُوعَ،submission,لَاthey do notيَعْصُونَdisobeyاللَّهَAllahمَاwhatأَمَرَهُمْHe commanded themوَيَفْعَلُونَand they doمَاwhatيُؤْمَرُونَthey are commanded.﴾﴾[التحريم: ٦][At-Tahrim: 6]
We believe that they are a world of the unseen, created from light, and they are obliged to the tasks given to them by Allah in terms of worship. They are fully submissive to Allah, the Exalted and Majestic; they do not disobey Allah in what He commands them and they do what they are commanded.
كَذَلِكَSimilarlyنُؤْمِنُwe believeبِأَسْمَاءِin the namesمِنْofعَلَّمَنَاthose whom we have been taughtبِأَسْمَائِهِمْ،their names,وَنُؤْمِنُand we believeبِوَظَائِفِin the dutiesمِنْofعَلَّمَنَاthose whom we have been taughtبِوَظَائِفِهِمْ،their duties,وَيَجِبُand it is obligatoryعَلَيْنَا أَنْfor us toنُؤْمِنَbelieveبِذَلِكَin thatعَلَىAsمَاwhatعُلِّمَنَاwe were taught.
Similarly, we believe in the names of those whose names we have been taught, and we believe in the duties of those whose duties we were taught, and it is obligatory for us to believe in that which we have been taught.
أَجْسَامٌBodies؛;بِدَلِيلٍindicated byقَوْلِهِHis sayingتَعَالَى:the Most High:﴿﴾جَاعِلٌCreatingالْمَلَائِكَةَthe angelsرُسُلًاmessengersأُولُوhavingأَجْنِحَةٍwings[فَاطِر: ١]،[Fatir: 1],وَرَأَىand sawالنَّبِيُّthe Prophetﷺpeace be upon himجِبْرِيلَGabrielعَلَىin
Bodies; indicated by His saying, 'Creating the angels messengers having wings' [Fatir: 1], and the Prophet saw Gabriel in the form he was created with.
لَهُHe hasسِتٌّsixمِئَةٌhundredجَنَاحٌ،wings,قَدْindeedسَدَّتْfilledالْأُفُقَ؛the horizon;خِلَافًاContraryلِمَنْto whomقَالَ :said:إِنَّهُمْthey areوَهُمْAnd theyأَرْوَاحٌsouls.
He has six hundred wings, which indeed filled the horizon; contrary to what some said: 'They are souls.'
إِذَاIfقَالَit is saidقَائِلٌ:the one who says:هَلْIsلَهُمْto themعُقُولٌ؟intellects?
If it is said, 'Do they have intellects?','
نَقُولُwe say,هَلْisلَكَfor youعَقْلٌ؟an intellect?
we say, 'Is there an intellect for you?'
مَاWhatيُسْأَلُis askedعَنْaboutهَذَاthisإِلَّاexceptرَجُلٌa manمَجْنُونٌ؛mad;فَقَدْfor indeedقَالَHe has said:اللَّهُAllahتَعَالَى:the Most High:﴿﴾لَاNotيَعْصُونَthey disobeyاللَّهَto AllahمَاwhatأَمَرَهُمْHe commanded themوَيَفْعَلُونَand they doمَاwhatيُؤْمَرُونَthey are commanded.﴾﴾[التحريم: ٦]؛[At-Tahrim: 6];
What is asked about this except a mad man; for indeed, Allah the Most High has said: 'They do not disobey Allah in what He has commanded them and they do what they are commanded.' [At-Tahrim: 6];
فَهَلْSo is itيُثْنِيhe praisesعَلَيْهِمْupon themهَذَاthisالثَّنَاءِpraiseوَلَيْسَand there is notلَهُمْfor themعُقُولٌ؟intellects?
So does He praise them with this praise and they have not intellects?
﴾﴾يُسَبِّحُونَThey glorifyاللَّيْلَthe nightوَالنَّهَارَand the dayلَاdo notيَفْتُرُونَthey cease﴾﴾[الأنبياء : ٢٠]؛[Al-Anbiya: 20];
They glorify the night and the day, and they do not cease. [Al-Anbiya: 20];
أَنَقُولَShould we say,هَؤُلَاءِtheseلَيْسُواare notلَهُمْfor themعُقُولٌ؟intellects?!!
Should we say, 'Are these not for them intellects?'!
يَأْتَمِرُونَThey act according
They act according to the command of Allah,
وَيَفْعَلُونَand they doمَاwhatيُؤْمَرُونَthey are commanded.
and they do what they are commanded.
