وَلَقَدْAnd indeedسَلَكَtreadedفَضِيلَةَVirtueالشَّيْخِSheikhمُحَمَّدَMuhammadابْنَbin (son of)صَالِحٍSalehالْعُثَيْمِينِAl-UthaymeenـنَفَعَbenefitاللَّهَAllahبِعُلُومِهِwith his knowledgeـهَذِهِthisالطَّرِيقَةَmethod,وَكَانَand he wasيُؤَكِّدُemphasizingدَائِمًاalwaysعَلَىonالْعِنَايَةَcareبِمَثَلِwith suchهَذِهِthisالْمُخَتَصَرَاتِabridgementsوَحِفْظَهَاand memorizing them
And indeed, Sheikh Muhammad bin Saleh Al-Uthaymeen – may Allah benefit from his knowledge – treaded this method, and he always emphasized the care for such abridgements and memorizing them.
فَكَانَتْSo he wasفِيinدُرُوسِهِhis lessonsلِلْعَقِيدَةِfor doctrineمَثَلًاfor exampleيَقُومُhe would teachبِتَدْرِيسِby teachingكِتَابِthe book«الْعَقِيدَةِ"The Doctrineالْوَاسِطِيَّةِ»Al-Wasitiya",وَكِتَابِand the bookالتَّوْحِيدِof Tawheedلِشَيْخِof the Sheikhالإِسْلَامِof IslamمُحَمَّدٍMuhammadابْنَbin (son of)عَبْدِAbdالْوَهَّابِAl-Wahhabرَحِمَهُmay Allah have mercy on him,وَفِيAnd inالْفِقْهِjurisprudenceبِكِتَابِwith the bookزَادِZadالْمُسْتَقْنِعِAl-Mustaqni`لِلْحَجَّاويby Al-Hijawiرَحِمَهُmay Allah have mercy on him,وَفِيAnd inالْفَرَائِضِinheritanceبِwithمَنْظُومَةِthe poemالْقَلَائِدِof Qala'idالْبُرْهَانِيَّةِAl-Burhaniyya,وَفِيAnd inالنَّحْوِgrammarبِwith«الْآجُرُّمِيَّةِ»"Al-Ajurumiya",وَهَكَذَاAnd soفِيinسَائِرِotherدُرُوسِهِhis lessons
So he was in his lessons for doctrine, for example, teaching the book "Al-Wasitiya", and the book of Tawheed by Sheikh of Islam Muhammad bin Abdul Wahhab, may Allah have mercy on him, and in jurisprudence with the book of Al-Mustaqni`, by Al-Hijawi, may Allah have mercy on him, and in inheritance with the poem Al-Burhaniyya, and in grammar with "Al-Ajurumiya", and so in all his lessons.
فَكَانَتْSo there wasلِهَذِهِfor thisالطَّرِيقَةِmethodالأَثَرُthe effectالْبَالِغُextensiveفِيinنُفُوسَsoulsطُلَّابِهِstudentsوَمُسْتَمِعِيهِand listeners،فَانْتَشَرَتْand spreadكُتُبُهُhis booksوَأَشْرِطَتُهُand tapesفِيinشَرْقِthe eastالْبِلَادِof the landالإِسْلَامِيَّةِIslamicوَغَرْبِهَاand the west,وَعُمَّand spreadاللَّهَAllahبِهَاwith themالنَّفْعَthe benefitالْعَظِيمَthe great
So there was an extensive effect of this method in the souls of his students and listeners, and his books and tapes spread in the east and west of the Islamic lands, and Allah spread great benefit with them.
وَهَذَاAnd thisالْأَمْرُmatterقَدْhasجَعَلَmadeدَوْرَpublishing housesالنَّشْرَpublishتَقُومُcarry outعَلَىonطَبْعِprintedمُؤَلَّفَاتِthe worksوَرَسَائِلِand messagesالشَّيْخِthe Sheikhحَفِظَهُmay Allah preserve him,وَقدand it hasكَانَتْhadلِدَارِfor the houseابْنِIbnالْجَوْزِيِّAl-Jawziلِلنَّشْرِfor publishingوَالتَّوْزِيعِand distributionالسَّبَقَpioneeringفِيinذَٰلِكَthatمُنْذُsinceزَمَنٍtimeلَيْسَnotبِالقَرِيبِin the near,فَنَحْمَدُSo we praiseاللَّهَAllahتَعَالَىthe Most Highوَنَشْكُرُهُand we thank Himعَلَىforأَنْthatيُسِرَmade easyلَنَاfor usذَٰلِكَthat
And this matter has made publishing houses carry out printing of the works and messages of the Sheikh, may Allah preserve him, and it has been for the house of Ibn Al-Jawzi for publishing and distribution a pioneering role in that since a time not too near, so we praise Allah the Most High and thank Him for making that easy for us.
وَلَقَدْAnd indeedطُبِعَhas been printedهَذَاthisالْكِتَابُbookمِنْbeforeقَبْلَbefore,وَلَكِنَّهُbut itفِيinالْحَقِيقَةِrealityلَمْnotيُعْطَbe givenحَقَّهُits dueفِيinالتَّدْقِيقِthe scrutinyوَالْتَّحْقِيقِand verificationمِنْfromقَبْلَbeforeالشَّيْخِthe Sheikhـسَدَّدَهُmay Allah guide himاللَّهُAllah,لِذَٰلِكَthereforeقَامَhe undertookفَضِيلَةُVirtueالشَّيْخِthe Sheikhبِمُرَاجَعَةِto reviewالْكِتَابَthe bookوَتَصْحِيحِهِand correcting itوَإِعَادَةِand reconsideringالنَّظَرِthe understandingفِيهِof it,وَاسْتْدْرَاكِand supplementingالْنَّقْصِthe shortcomingsالَّذِيthat whichفِيinالطَّبْعَةِthe editionالأُولَىthe first
And indeed this book has been printed before, but in reality it has not been given its due in the scrutiny and verification from the Sheikh – may Allah guide him, therefore the Virtue Sheikh undertook the review of the book, correcting it and reconsidering its understanding, and supplementing the shortcomings that were in the first edition.
فَكَانَتْSo theطَبْعَةُeditionهَذَاthisالْكِتَابِbookـحَقًّاtrulyـخَيْرًاbetterمِنْthanسَابِقَتِهَاits predecessor
So the edition of this book is truly better than its predecessor.
