ثَلاثَةُThreeكُلَّهَاall of themتَدُلُّindicateعَلَىonوُجودِexistenceاللَّهِAllahوَإِنْand ifشِئْتَyou wish::الفِطْرَةِthe instinctفَتَكُونُthen it becomesالدَّلَائِلُthe indicationsعَلَىonوُجودِexistenceاللَّهِAllahأَرْبَعَةٌfourالعَقْلُthe intellectوَالحَسُّand the sensesوَالفِطْرَةُand the instinct,,وَالشَّرْعُand the legislationوَأَخَّرْنَاand we delayedالشَّرْعَthe legislation,,لَاnotلِأَنَّهُbecause itلَاnotيَسْتَحِقُّdeservesالتَّقْدِيمَto be prioritized,,لَكِنbutلِأَنَّنَاbecause weنُخَاطِبُare addressingمَنْwhoلَاnotيُؤْمِنُbelievesبِالشَّرْعِin the legislation..
Three all of them indicate the existence of Allah, and if you wish, add: the instinct; thus the indications of the existence of Allah become four: intellect, senses, instinct, and legislation. We delayed the legislation, not because it does not deserve to be prioritized, but because we are addressing those who do not believe in legislation.
فَأَمَّاAs forدَلَالَةُthe signالعَقْلِthe intellect؛;فَنَقُولُwe say::هَلIs itوُجُودُthe existenceهَذِهِof theseالكَائِنَاتِcreaturesبِنَفْسِهَاby themselves،,أَوorوُجِدَتْit existedهَكَذَاthis wayصُدْفَةًby chance؟?
As for the sign of intellect; we say: Is the existence of these creatures by themselves, or did they exist this way by chance?
فَإِنIfقُلْتَyou say::وُجِدَتْit existedبِنَفْسِهَاby themselves؛;فَمُسْتَحِيلٌthen it is impossibleعَقْلًاby reason،,مَاas long asدَامَتْit lastedهِيَitمَعْدُومَةٌis nonexistent؛;كَيْفَhowتَكُونُcan it beمَوْجُودَةًexistingوَهِيَwhile it isمَعْدُومَةٌnonexistent
If you say: it existed by itself; then it is logically impossible, as long as it is nonexistent; how can it be existing while it is nonexistent?!

المَعْدُومُthe nonexistentلَيْسَis notبِشَيْءٍa thingحَتَّىuntilيُوجَدَit exists,,إِذًاtherefore؛;لَاnotيُمْكِنُit is possibleأَنْtoتُوْجَدَexistنَفْسُهَاitselfبِنَفْسِهَاby itself!!
Therefore; it cannot exist by itself!
وَإِنْAnd ifقُلْتَyou say::وُجِدَتْit foundصُدْفَةًby chance؛;فَنَقُولُthen we say::هَذَاthisيَسْتَحِيلُit is impossibleأَيْضًاalso::فَأَنْتَSo youأَيُّهَاOالْجَاحِدُthe denier؛;هَلIs itمَاwhateverأُنتِجَwas producedمِنfromالطَّائِرَاتِthe airplanesوَالصَّوَارِيخِand the rocketsوَالسَّيَّارَاتِand the carsوَالْآلَاتِand the machinesبِأَنْوَاعِهَاof various kinds;::هَلDidوُجِدَare foundهَذَاthisصُدْفَةًby chance
And if you say: it was found by chance; then we say: this is impossible also: So you, O denier; is whatever was produced from the airplanes and the rockets and the cars and the machines of various kinds; was this found by chance?!

فَيَقُولُHe saysلَاnoيُمْكِنُit is possibleأَنْtoيَكُونَto beفَكَذَلِكَso likewiseهَذِهِtheseالأَطْيَارُthe birdsوَالْجِبَالُand the mountainsوَالشَّمْسُand the sunوَالْقَمَرُand the moonوَالنُّجُومُand the starsوَالشَّجَرُand the treesوَالْجَمْرُand the coalsوَالْرِّمَالُand the sandsوَالْبِحَارُand the seasوَغَيْرُand othersذَلِكَthatلَاnotيُمْكِنُcanأَنْtoتُوجَدَexistصُدْفَةًby chanceأَبَدًاeverوَيُقَالُIt is saidإِنَّthatطَائِفَةٌa groupمِنofالسُّمُنِيَّةِthe SamaniansجَاؤُواcameإِلَىtoأَبِيAbuحَنِيفَةَHanifaرَحِمَهُmay he be mercifulاللَّهُAllah,,وَهُمْthey areمِنofأَهْلِpeopleالهِنْدِIndiaفَنَاظَرُوهُand they debated himفِيinإِثْبَاتِprovingالْخَالِقِthe Creatorعَزَّ وَجَلَّGlorious and Exalted,,وَكَانَAnd he wasأَبُوAbuحَنِيفَةَHanifaمِنofأَذْكَىthe smartestالْعُلَمَاءِthe scholars,,فَوَعَدَهُمْSo he promised themأَنْthatيَأْتُواthey will comeبَعْدَafterيَوْمٍa dayأَوorيَوْمَيْنِtwo days,,فَجَاءُواSo they came;;قَالُواthey saidمَاذَاWhatقُلْتَyou said؟?
And if you say: it existed by chance; then we say: this is impossible also: So you, O denier; is whatever was produced from the airplanes and the rockets and the cars and the machines of various kinds; was this found by chance?!
قَالَHe said::أَنَاIأَفْكُرُthinkفِيaboutسَفِينَةٍa shipمَمْلُوءَةٍfullمِنofالْبَضَائِعِgoodsوَالأَرْزَاقِand provisionsجَاءَتْcameتَشُقُّsplittingعَبَابَthe surfaceالْمَاءِof the water,,حَتَّىuntilأَرَسَتْit dockedفِيinالْمِينَاءِthe port,,وَنَزَلَتْand unloadedالْحَمُولَةَthe cargoوَذَهَبَتْand leftوَلَيْسَand there is notفِيهَاin itقَائِدٌa captainوَلَاnorحَمَّالُونَporters,,قَالُواThey saidتَفَكَّرْThinkبِهَذَاthis way؟?
He said: I think about a ship full of goods and provisions that came splitting the surface of the water, until it docked in the port, and unloaded the cargo and left, and there is no captain or porters in it.
قَالُواThey saidتَفَكَّرْThinkبِهَذَاin this؟?
They said: Think in this way?
قَالَHe said::نَعَمYesقَالُواThey said::إِذًاThenلَيْسَis notلَكَfor youعَقْلٌa mindهَلIs itيُعْقَلُis reasonable
He said: Yes. They said: Then is it not reasonable for you to have a mind?
