Introduction. Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, and upon his family and companions altogether. As for what comes after: This book is the "Explanation of the Wasitiyyah Creed by the virtuous Sheikh Muhammad bin Saleh Al-Othaymeen, which we present to the students of knowledge after it has been reviewed by the Sheikh himself. May Allah protect him, he corrected it, refined it, and added important additions to it, so it has come out in a new and elegant dress. The book of the "Wasitiyyah Creed" authored by Sheikh Al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah, may Allah have mercy on him, is a concise and useful book, which includes a clarification of the creed of the people of Sunnah and the Jama'ah in the clearest clarification and most concise phrase. Thus, this message, despite its small size, is among the best that has been collected and written on its subject, and there is no clearer evidence of this than the attention of scholars to explaining and teaching it to the students of knowledge. Indeed, our scholars were keen on teaching such summaries to their students, then they would move on to what is wider and more comprehensive.
