وَهُنَاكَAnd there isتَّقْرِيرٌa reportعَقْلِيٌّintellectualآخَرُanotherوَهُوَand it isأَنْthatنَقُولُwe sayإِنَّthatالْعُلُوَّthe exaltationصِفَةٌattributeكَمَالٌperfection
And there is another intellectual report, which is that we say: Exaltation is an attribute of perfection.
بِاتِّفَاقِBy agreementالْعُقَلَاءِ،of the intellectuals,وَإِذَاand ifكَانَit wasصِفَةًan attributeكَمَالٍ؛of perfection;وَجَبَit is necessaryأَنْto beيَكُونَto beثَابِتًاestablishedلِلَّهِ؛for God;لَأَنَّbecauseكُلَّeveryصِفَةٍattributeكَمَالٍof perfectionمُطْلَقَةٍ؛is absolute;فَهِيَit isثَابِتَةٌestablishedلِلَّهِ.for God.
By agreement of the intellectuals, if it is an attribute of perfection; it is necessary for it to be established for God; because every attribute of perfection is absolute; it is established for God.
وَقَوْلُنَاAnd our sayingمُطْلَقَةٌ:absolute:احْتِرَازًاas a cautionمِنْfromالْكَمَالِthe perfectionالنِّسْبِيِّ،relative,الَّذِيwhichيَكُونُisكَمَالًاa perfectionفِيinحَالٍa stateدُونَwithoutحَالٍ؛a state;فَالنَّوْمُfor example, sleepمَثَلًاfor example,نَقْصٌ،is a deficiency,وَلَكِنbutلِمَنfor whomيَحْتَاجُneedsإِلَيْهَاto itوَيَسْتَعِيدُand regainsقُوَّتَهُhis strengthبِهَا كَمَالًاthrough it is a perfection.
And our saying 'absolute': as a caution from relative perfection, which is a perfection in one state without another; for example, sleep is a deficiency, but for those who need it, and regain their strength through it, it is a perfection.
خامِسًا:Fifthly:وَأَمَّاAnd regardingدَلَالَةًthe indicationالْفِطْرَةِof the innate natureفَأَمْرٌis a matterلَاthat cannotيُمْكِنُbe arguedالْمُنَازَعَةُor contested;وَلَاnorالْمُكَابَرَةُ؛the denial;فَكُلُّfor everyإِنْسَانٍhumanمَفْطُورٌis createdعَلَىonأَنْto believeاللَّهِthat Godفِيis inالسَّمَاءِ،the sky,وَلِهَذَاand soعِنْدَمَاwhenيَفْجَأُكَsomething surprises youالشَّيْءَthe thingالَّذِيthatلَاyou cannotتَسْتَطِيعُpreventدَفْعَهُ؛its harm;فَإِنَّthenقَلْبَكَyour heartيَنْصَرِفُturnsإِلَىtowardsالسَّمَاءِthe skyحَتَّىevenالَّذِينَthose whoيُنْكِرُونَdenyعُلُوَّthe exaltationالذَّاتِof the essenceلَاdo notيَقْدِرُونَare ableأَنْtoيُنَزِّلُواlowerأَيْدِيَهُمْtheir handsإِلَىtoالْأَرْضِ.the earth.
Fifthly: And regarding the indication of the innate nature, it is a matter that cannot be argued nor contested; every human is created to believe that God is in the sky, and so when something surprises you that you cannot prevent its harm, then your heart turns towards the sky; even those who deny the exaltation of the essence cannot lower their hands to the earth.
اللَّهُGodوَهَذِهِand thisالْفِطْرَةُinnate natureلَاcannotيُمْكِنُbe denied.
God, and this innate nature cannot be denied.
حَتَّىEvenإِنَّهُمthey say,يَقُولُونَthey sayإنَّthatبَعْضَsomeالْمَخْلُوقَاتِof the creaturesالْعَجْمَاءِthe muteتَعْرِفُknow thatأَنَّthatفِيinالسَّمَاءِ؛the sky;كَمَاasفِيinالْحَدِيثِthe hadithالَّذِيwhichيُرْوَىis narratedأَنْthatسُلَيْمَانَSolomonابْنَson ofدَاوُدَDavidعَلَيْهِpeace be upon himالصَّلَاةُand blessingsوَالسَّلاَمُand peaceعَلَىuponأَبِيهِhis fatherخَرَجَwent outيَسْتَسْقِيto seek rainذَاتَone dayيَوْمٍdayبِالنَّاسِ،with people,فَلَمَّاAnd whenخَرَجَ؛he went out;رَأَىhe sawنَمْلَةًan antمُسْتَلِقَةًlying downعَلَىonظَهْرِهَا،its back,رَافِعَةًraisingقَوَائِمَهَاits legsنَحْوَtowardsالسَّمَاءِ،the sky,تَقُولُ:saying:«اللَّهُمَّ‘O Allah,إِنَّاindeed weخَلَقْنَاare createdمِنْfromخَلْقِكَ،Your creatures,لَيْسَthere is notبِنَاfrom usغِنَىwealth
Even they say that some of the mute creatures know that there is in the sky; as in the hadith which is narrated that Solomon, son of David, peace be upon him, went out one day with people, and when he went out he saw an ant lying on its back, raising its legs towards the sky, saying: ‘O Allah, indeed we are created from Your creatures; there is not for us wealth from us.’
فَقَالَSo he said,ارْجِعُوا؛‘Return;فَقَدْfor you haveسُقْتُمْbeen given to drinkبِدَعْوَةِby the supplicationغَيْرِكُمْ).of others.’
So he said, ‘Return; for you have been given to drink by the supplication of others.’
وَهَذَاAnd thisإِلْهَامٌis an inspirationفِطْرِيٌّ.of innate nature.
And this is an inspiration of innate nature.
