كَمَالًا؛perfection;كَمَاasقالَsaidتَعَالَى:the Most High:﴿[وَإِذَاAnd whenلَقُواthey meetالَّذِينَthose whoءَامَنُواbelievedقَالُواthey saidءَامَنَّاwe have believedوَإِذَاand whenخَلَوْاthey are aloneإِلَىwithشَيْطِينِهِمْtheir devilsقَالُواthey saidإِنَّاIndeed, weمَعَكُمْwith youإِنَّمَاonlyنَحْنُweمُسْتَهْزِئُونَmockers
Perfection; as Allah, the Most High, said: "And when they meet those who have believed, they say, 'We have believed.' But when they are alone with their devils, they say, 'Indeed, we are with you; we were only mockers.'" [Al-Baqarah: 14]; Allah said: "Allah mocks them." [Al-Baqarah: 15].
فَأَهْلُSo the peopleالسُّنَّةِof the Sunnahوَالجَمَاعَةِand the الجماعةيُثْبِتُونَaffirmهَذِهِtheseالمَعَانِيmeaningsلِلَّهِfor Allahعَزَّ وَجَلَّthe Mighty and Majestic
So the people of the Sunnah and the الجماعة affirm these meanings for Allah, the Mighty and Majestic.
لَكِنَّButأَهْلُthe peopleالتَّحْرِيفِof distortionيَقُولُونَ:say:لَاNoيُمْكِنُit is possibleأَنْtoيُوْصَفَbe describedاللَّهَAllahبِهَاwith themأَبَدًا،ever,لَكِنَّbutذِكْرَthe mentionمَكْرِof deceptionاللَّهِof Allahوَمَكْرِهِمْand their deceptionمِنْfromبَابِthe perspective ofالمُشَاكَلَةِverbal analogy,اللَّفْظِيَّةِ،the verbal,وَالمَعْنَىand the meaningمُخْتَلِفٌ؛is different;مِثْلَ:like:﴿[رَضِيَPleasedاللَّهُAllahعَنْهُمْwith themوَرَضُواand they were pleasedعَنْهُwith Him.﴾]
But the people of distortion say: It cannot be that Allah is described with them ever, but the mention of the deception of Allah and their deception is from the perspective of verbal analogy, and the meaning is different; like: "Allah is pleased with them and they are pleased with Him."
وَنَحْنُAnd weنَقُولُsayلَهُمْ:to them:هَذَاThisخِلَافٌis contraryظَاهِرٌto the apparentالنَّصِّ،text,وَخِلَافٌand contrary toإِجْمَاعِthe consensusالسَّلَفِ.of the predecessors.
And we say to them: This is contrary to the apparent text, and contrary to the consensus of the predecessors.
وَقَدْAnd we have
And we have said previously: If someone says: 'You have a saying attributed to Abu Bakr, or Umar, or Uthman, or Ali, in which they say that the intended meaning of deception, plotting, mockery, and deceit is the reality!'
