وَكَذَلِكَAnd likewiseالرُّؤْيَةُthe visionتَنفَصِلُis dividedإِلَىintoقِسْمَيْنِtwo sections:
And likewise, the vision is divided into two sections:
۱1--رُؤْيَةٌVisionبِمَعْنَىin the sense ofالعِلْمِknowledge.
1 - A vision in the sense of knowledge.
۲2--وَرُؤْيَةٌAnd a visionبِمَعْنَىin the sense ofإِدْرَاكٍperceptionالمُبْصَرَاتِof the visible things.
2 - And a vision in the sense of perception of the visible things.
وَكُلُّAnd allذَٰلِكَthatثَابِتٌis establishedلِلَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّfor Allah, the Exalted.
And all that is established for Allah, the Exalted.
وَالرُّؤْيَةُAnd the visionالَّتِيthatبِمَعْنَىin the sense ofإِدْرَاكٍperceptionالمُبْصَرَاتِof the visible thingsثَلاَثَةٌthreeأَقْسَامٌsections:
And the vision that is in the sense of the perception of the visible things has three sections:
قِسْمٌA sectionيُقْصَدُintendedبِهِby itالنَّصْرُvictoryوَالتَّأْيِيدُand support؛كَقَوْلِهِas His saying﴿إِنَّنِيIndeed, Iمَعَكُمَاwith both of youأَسْمَعُI hearوَأَرَىand I see﴾[طه: ٤٦][Ta-Ha: 46]ا
A section intended by it is victory and support; as His saying: "Indeed, I am with both of you, I hear and I see." [Ta-Ha: 46]
وَقِسْمٌAnd a sectionيُقْصَدُis intendedبِهِby itالإِحَاطَةُcomprehensivenessوَالْعِلْمُand knowledge؛مِثْلُ قَوْلِهِlike His saying﴿إِنَّ اللَّهَIndeed, Allahنِعِمَّاis excellentيَعِظُكُمcounsels youبِهِwith itإِنَّ اللَّهَIndeed, AllahكَانَwasسَمِيعًاHearingبَصِيرًاSeeing﴾[البقرة: ٢٧١][Al-Baqarah: 271]
And a section intended by it is comprehensiveness and knowledge; like His saying: "Indeed, Allah is excellent in counseling you; indeed, Allah was Hearing and Seeing." [Al-Baqarah: 271]
تAndوَقِسْمٌa sectionيُقْصَدُis intendedبِهِby itالْتَّهْدِيدُthreat؛مِثْلُ قَوْلِهِlike His saying﴿قُلSayلَاDo notتَعْتَذِرُواmake excusesلَنْWe will notنُؤْمِنَbelieveلَكُمْfor youقَدْIndeed,نَبَّأَنَاhas informed usاللَّهُAllahمِنْofأَخْبَارِكُمْyour newsوَسَيَرَىand He will seeاللَّهُAllahعَمَلَكُمْYour actionsوَرَسُولُهُand His Messenger﴾[التوبة :[At-Tawbah:99]
And a section intended by it is the threat; like His saying: "Say, do not make excuses. We will not believe for you. Indeed, Allah has informed us of your news, and Allah will see your actions and His Messenger." [At-Tawbah: 9]
وَالرُّؤْيَةُAnd the vision:مَاWhatنَسْتَفِيدُهُwe benefitمِنَfromالنَّاحِيَةِthe aspectالمَسْلَكِيَّةِbehavioralفِيinالإِيمَانِthe faithبِصِفَةِby the attributesالسَّمْعِof hearing:
And the vision: what we benefit from the behavioral aspect in the faith by the attributes of hearing:
-أَمَّاAs forالرُّؤْيَةَ؛the vision;فَنَسْتَفِيدُwe benefitمِنَfromالإِيمَانِthe faithبِهَاin itالْخَوْفَfearوَالرَّجَاءَand hope؛الْخَوْفُfearعِندَatالْمَعْصِيَةِ؛disobedience;لِأَنَّbecauseاللَّهَAllahيَرَانَاsees usوَالرَّجَاءُAnd hopeعِندَatالطَّاعَةِ؛obedience;لِأَنَّbecauseاللَّهَAllahيَرَانَاsees us.
As for the vision; we benefit from the faith in it fear and hope; fear at disobedience; because Allah sees us and hope at obedience; because Allah sees us.
وَلَاAnd surelyشَكٌّthere is no doubtأَنَّهُthat Heسَيُثِيبُنَاwill reward usعَلَىforهَذَا؛this;فَتَتَقَوَّىso the resolve is strengthenedعَزَائِمُنَاour resolvesبِطَاعَةِthrough obedienceاللَّهِ،to Allah,وَتَضْعُفُand it weakensإِرَادَتُنَاour willلِمَعْصِيَتِهِ.to disobedience..
And surely there is no doubt that He will reward us for this; so the resolve is strengthened through obedience to Allah, and it weakens our will to disobedience.
وَأَمَّاAnd as forالسَّمْعِ؛hearing;فَالْأَمْرُthe matterفِيهِin itظَاهِرٌ؛is clear;لِأَنَّbecauseالْإِنْسَانَthe humanإِذَاifآمَنَbelievesبِالسَّمْعِin hearing
And as for hearing; the matter in it is clear; because if the human believes in hearing.
