فَإِنَّكَIndeed youبِأَعْيُنِنَاin Our eyes؛فَخُذُواSo takeبِالظَّاهِرِ،the apparent,وَإِذَاand ifأَخَذْتُمْyou takeبِالظَّاهِرِ؛the apparent;كَفَرْتُمْ،you have disbelieved,وَإِذَاand ifلَمْyou do notتَأْخُذُواtakeبِالظَّاهِرِ؛the apparent;تَنَاقَضْتُمْ؛you have contradicted;فَمَرَّةًSo at one timeتَقُولُونَ :you say:يَجُوزُit is permissibleالتَّأْوِيلَ،to interpret,وَمَرَّةًand at another timeتَقُولُونَ :you say:لَاnotيَجُوزُis permissibleالتَّأْوِيلَ،to interpret,وَتَسْمُوهُand you call itتَحْرِيفًا،distortion,وَهَلْand is itهَذَاthisإِلَّاexceptتَحَكُّمٌarbitrateبِدِينِin the religion ofاللَّهِ؟!Allah?!
Indeed you are in Our eyes; so take the apparent, and if you take the apparent; you have disbelieved, and if you do not take the apparent; you have contradicted; for at one time you say: it is permissible to interpret, and at another time you say: it is not permissible to interpret, and you call it distortion, and is this not just arbitrating in the religion of Allah?!
نُخَالِفُهُ .We oppose it.

قُلْنَا :We said:نَأْخُذُWe takeبِالظَّاهِرِthe apparentوَعَلَىand onالْعَيْنِthe eyeوَالرَّأْسِ،and the head,وَهُوَand this isطَرِيقُنَا،our way,وَلَاand notقَالُوا :they said:الظَّاهِرُthe apparentمِنْofالْآيَةِthe verseأَنَّthatمُحَمَّدًاMuhammadبِعَيْنِis in the eyeاللَّهِ،of Allah,وَسَطِmiddleالْعَيْنِ؛of the eye;كَمَاasتَقُولُ :you say:زَيْدٌZaidبِالْبَيْتِin the house;زَيْدٌZaidبِالْمَسْجِدِ؛in the mosque;فَالْبَاءِso the 'bi' isلِلظَّرْفِيَّةِfor circumstantialفَيَكُونُso it would beزَيْدٌZaidدَاخِلَinsideالْبَيْتِ،the house,وَدَاخِلَand insideالْمَسْجِدِ،the mosque,فَيَكُونُso it would beقَوْلُهُHis sayingبِأَعْيُنِنَا؛in Our eyes;أَيmeansدَاخِلَinsideأَعْيُنِنَاOur eyesوَإِذَاand ifقُلْتُمْyou saidبِهَذَاthis,كَفَرْتُمْ؛you have disbelieved;لِأَنَّكُمْbecause youجَعَلْتُمْhave madeاللَّهَAllahمَحَلًّاa placeلِلْخَلَائِقِ؛for creatures;فَأَنْتُمْso you areحُلُولِيَّةً،polytheists,وَإِنْand ifلَمْyou do notتَقُولُواsayبِهَا؛it;تَنَاقَضْتُمْ؟!you have contradicted?!
We said: We take the apparent and on the eye and head, and this is our way, and they said: The apparent from the verse is that Muhammad is in the eye of Allah, in the middle of the eye; as you say: Zaid is in the house; Zaid is in the mosque; so the 'bi' is for circumstantial, so it would be Zaid inside the house and inside the mosque, so His saying in Our eyes; means inside Our eyes and if you say this you have disbelieved; because you have made Allah a place for creatures; so you are polytheists, and if you do not say it; you have contradicted?!
قُلْنَاWe told them:مَعَاذَGod forbidاللَّهَGodثُمَّthenمَعَاذَGod forbidاللَّهَGodثُمَّthenمَعَاذَGod forbidاللَّهَGodأَنْthatيَكُونَit isمَاwhatذَكَرْتُمُوهُyou have mentionedظَاهِرًاapparentالْقُرْآنَthe Quranوَأَنْتُمْand youإِنْifاعْتَقَدْتُمْyou believeأَنْthatهَذَاthisظَاهِرٌis the apparentالْقُرْآنَ؛of the Quran;كَفَرْتُمْ؛you are disbelievers;لِأَنَّbecauseمَنْwhoاعْتَقَدَbelievesأَنْthatظَاهِرَthe apparentالْقُرْآنَ كُفْرٌof the Quran is disbeliefوَضَلاَلٌ؛and misguidance;فَهُوَhe isكَافِرٌa disbelieverضَالٌ .and misguided.
We told them: God forbid, then God forbid, then God forbid that what you have mentioned is the apparent of the Quran; and if you believe this is the apparent of the Quran; you are disbelievers; because whoever believes that the apparent of the Quran is disbelief and misguidance; he is a disbeliever and misguided.
فَأَنْتُمْSo youتُوبُواrepent toإِلَىtoاللَّهِGodمِنْfromقَوْلِكُمْyour sayingإِنَّthatهَذَاthisهُوَisظَاهِرُthe apparentاللَّفْظِ!word!
So you repent to God from your saying that this is the apparent word!
وَاسْأَلُواAnd askجَمِيعَallأَهْلَthe peopleاللُّغَةِof languageمِنْfromالشُّعَرَاءِthe poetsوَالخُطَبَاءِ:and the speakers:هَلDoيَقْصِدُونَthey intendبِمَثَلِwith suchهَذِهِthisالْعِبَارَةَexpressionأَنْthatالْإِنْسَانَthe humanالْمَنْظُورَlooked uponإِلَيْهِto himبِالْعَيْنِwith the eyeحَالَstateفِيinجَفْنٍthe eyelid?
And ask all the people of the language from the poets and the speakers: Do they intend with such an expression that the human looked upon him with the eye in the eyelid?
اسْأَلُواAskمَنْwhoeverشِئْتُمْyou wantمِنْfromأَهْلِthe peopleاللُّغَةِof languageأَحْيَاءًlivingوَأَمْوَاتًا!!and dead!!
Ask whoever you want from the people of the language, living and dead!!
فَأَنْتَSo if youإِذَاwhenرَأَيْتَyou seeأَسَالِيبَthe stylesاللُّغَةِof the languageالْعَرَبِيَّةِArabicعَرَفْتَyou knowأَنَّthatهَذَاthisالْمَعْنَىmeaning
So if you see the styles of the Arabic language, you will know that this meaning
