الْعِبَادَةُ،Worship,لَكِنَّbutالدَّعْوَةُthe callوَالتَّبْلِيغُand the conveyingأَمْرٌis a matterصَعْبٌ؛difficult;لِأَنَّهُbecause itيَتْعَبُtiresفِيinمَعَانَاةِthe sufferingالْآخَرِينَ،of others,وَجِهَادِهِمْ،and their struggle,فَيَكُونُso it becomesصَعْبًا.difficult.
Worship is important, but the call and conveying is a difficult matter; because it tires one in the suffering of others and their struggle, so it becomes difficult.
وَأَمَّاAs forالنَّواهيَ؛the prohibitions;فَقَدْHe hasنَهَاهُforbidden himعَنْfromالشِّرْكَ؛polytheism;قَالَ :he said:﴿﴿وَلَاAnd do notتَكُونَنَّbe amongمِنَofالْمُشْرِكِينَ ﴾the polytheists. ﴾[الْأَنْعَامِ:[Al-An'am:١٤]14]لَئِنْIf youأَشْرَكْتَassociate partners (with Allah)لَيَحْبَطَنَّsurely shall be invalidatedعَمَلَكَyour deeds.﴾﴾[ الزُّمَرِ:[Az-Zumar:٦٥] .65].....وَمَاAnd whatأَشْبَهَis similarذَٰلِكَ.to that.
As for the prohibitions; he has forbidden him from polytheism; he said: 'And do not be among the polytheists.' [Al-An'am: 14] If you associate partners (with Allah), surely your deeds shall be invalidated.' [Az-Zumar: 65] ... And what is similar to that.
وَأَمَّاAnd as forالأَحْكَامِthe decrees;الْقَدَرِيَّةِ:the predestined:فَقَدْhe hasحَصَلَsufferedعَلَيْهِupon him;أَذًىharmمِنْfromقَوْمِهِ؛his people;أَذًىharmقَوْلِيٌّverbalوَأَذًىand harmفِعْلِيٌّ،action,لاnoيَصْبِرُcan endureعَلَيْهِupon itإِلَّاexceptأَمْثَالِfor exampleالرَّسُولِthe Messengerعَلَيْهِpeace be upon him:آذَوْهُThey harmed himبِالْقَوْلِ:with words:بِالسَّخْرِيَةِwith mockeryوَالِاسْتِهْزَاءِ،and ridicule,وَالْتَّهْجِينِ،and disparagement,وَتَنْفِيرِand alienationالنَّاسِpeopleعَنْهُ.from him.
As for the predestined decrees: he suffered harm from his people; verbal harm and actual harm, no one can endure it except for examples like the Prophet (peace be upon him): They harmed him with words with mockery and ridicule, and disparagement, and alienated people from him.
وَآذَوْهُAnd they harmed himبِالْفِعْلِ:by action:كَانَhe wasسَاجِدًاprostratingتَحْتَunderالْكَعْبَةِthe Kaabaفِيinآمِنَةٍa safeبُقْعَةٍplaceمِنَofالْأَرْضِ،the earth,سَاجِدًاprostratingلِرَبِّهِ،to his Lord,فَذَهَبُواthey wentوَأَتَوْاand broughtبِسَلَىthe entrailsالنَّاقَةِ،of the she-camel,وَوَضَعُوهَاand placed itعَلَىonظَهْرِهِhis backوَهُوَwhile he wasسَاجِدًا (١)!!prostrating (1)!!لَيْسَThere is notهُنَاكَthereأَشَدَّmore severeمِنْthanهَذِهِthisالْأَذَاةِharmمَعَwithالْعِلْمِthe knowledgeبِأَنَّهُthat heلَوْifيَدْخُلُhe entersكَافِرٌa disbelieverمُشْرِكٌpolytheistإِلَىtoالْحَرَمِ؛the sacred mosque;
And they harmed him by action: he was prostrating under the Kaaba in the safest place on earth, prostrating to his Lord, and they went and brought the entrails of the she-camel and placed it on his back while he was prostrating (1)!! There is not a more severe harm than this while knowing that if a disbeliever polytheist enters the sacred mosque;

it would be safe with them, they would not harm him in it, but they would honor him and feed him intoxicating drink and give him Zamzam water to drink while Muhammad (peace be upon him) is prostrating to Allah, they harm him this harm!!

(1) As narrated by Al-Bukhari (3854), and Muslim (1794); Abdullah bin Mas'ud said: While the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was prostrating and around him were people from Quraish, Uqbah bin Abu Mu'ayt came with the entrails of the camel and threw it on the back of the Prophet.
