تَسْتَلْزِمُهَاit requiresوَتُوجِبُهَاand necessitates itالْقِتَالَ،fighting,وَعَدَمَand the absence ofالتَّوَانِيlaziness;وَالإِخْلَاصَ؛and sincerity;بِأَنْthatيَكُونَit beفِيinسَبِيلِthe pathاللَّهِ،of Allah,أَنْthatيَشُدَّwe supportبَعْضَنَاeach otherبَعْضًاsomeكَأَنَّنَاas if we areبُنْيَانٍ،a building,أَنْthatنُحْكِمَwe strengthenالرَّابِطَةَthe bondبَيْنَنَاbetween usإِحْكَمًاfirmlyقَوِيًّاstrongكَالْبُنْيَانِlike a buildingالْمَرْصُوصِthat is tightly joinedأَنْthatنَصِفَ،we portray,وَهَذَاand thisيَقْضِيnecessitatesالتَّسَاوِيequalityحَسًّا،in feeling,حَتَّىso thatلَاnotتَخْتَلِفَdifferالْقُلُوبُ،the hearts,وَهُوَand it isمِمَّاof whatيُؤَكِّدُconfirmsالْأَلْفَةَ،affection,وَالْإِنْسَانُand a personإِذَاwhenرَأَىseesوَاحِدًاoneعَنْonيَمِينِهِhis right;وَواحِدًاand oneعَنْonيَسَارِهِ؛his left;يَقْوَىit strengthensعَلَىonالإِقْدَامِ،taking initiative,لَكِنbutلَوْifيُحِيطُونَthey surroundبِهِhimمِنfromجَمِيعِallالْجَوَانِبِ؛sides;فَسَتَشْتَدُّthen will be strengthenedهُمَّتُهُ .his determination.
It requires and necessitates fighting, the absence of laziness, and sincerity; that it be in the path of Allah, that we support each other as if we are a building, that we strengthen the bond between us firmly like a tightly joined building. This necessitates equality in feeling, so that hearts do not differ, which confirms affection. And a person when he sees one on his right and one on his left; he gains strength to take initiative, but if they surround him from all sides; then his determination will strengthen.
فَصَارَThus there becameفِيinهَذِهِtheseالْآيَاتِversesثَلاثَةٌthreeمُبَاحِثَ :discussions:
Thus there became three discussions in these verses:
يَقُولُونَ :They say:
They say:
١1--إِثْبَاتِEstablishingالْمَحَبَّةِloveبِالْأَدِلَّةِwith evidenceالسَّمْعِيَّةِ .of hearing.
1 - Establishing love with evidence of hearing.
٢2––أَسْبَابِهَا .Its Causes.
2 - Its Causes.
٣3––الْآثَارِThe effectsالْمَسْلَكِيَّةِmanifestedفِيinالإِيْمَانِfaithبِهَا .in it.
3 - The effects manifested in faith in it.
أَمَّاAs forأَهْلُthe people ofالْبِدَعِinnovationالَّذِينَwhoأَنْكَرُوهَا ؛denied it;فَلَيْسَتthey do not haveعِندَهُمْwith themإِلَّاexceptحُجَّةًa proofوَاهِيَةً؛that is weak;أَوَّلًا :First:إنّThatالْعَقْلَthe mindلَاdoes notيَدُلُindicateعَلَيْهَا .on it.
As for the people of innovation who denied it; they do not have except a weak proof; First: That the mind does not indicate on it.
ثَانِيًا:Secondly:إنّThatالْمَحَبَّةَloveإنَّمَاis onlyتَكُونُisبَيْنَbetweenاثْنَيْنِtwoمُتَجانِسَيْنِ،that are similar,لَاnotتَكُونُisبَيْنَbetweenرَبٍّthe Lordوَمَخْلُوقٍand the created;أَبَدًا،never,وَلَاand it is notبَأْسٌbadأَنْthatتَكُونَisبَيْنَbetweenالْمَخْلُوقَاتِ. the created.
Secondly: That love is only between two similar entities, it can never be between the Lord and the created; and it is not bad that it is between the created.
وَنَحْنُAnd weنَرُدُّrespondعَلَيْهِمْto themفَنَقُولُ :so we say:نُجِيبُكُمْWe will answer youعَنْaboutالأَوَّلِ -the first -وَهُوَand it isأَنْthatالْعَقْلَthe mindلَاdoes notيَدُلُindicateعَلَيْهَا ـon it -بِجَوَابَيْنِ :with two answers:
And we respond to them, so we say: We will answer you about the first - which is that the mind does not indicate on it - with two answers:
أَحَدُهُمَاOne of themبِالتَّسْلِيمِ،is by submission,وَالْثَّانِي:and the second:بِالْمَنْعِ. is by prohibition.
One of them is by submission, and the second is by prohibition.
التَّسْلِيمُ:Submission:نَقُولُ :We say:سَلَّمْنَاWe have submittedأَنَّthatالْعَقْلَthe mindلَاdoes notيَدُلُindicateعَلَىonالْمَحَبَّةِ؛love;فَالْسَّمْعُfor the hearingدَلَّindicatesعَلَيْهَاon itوَهُوَand it isدَلِيلٌa proofقَائِمٌstandingبِنَفْسِهِby itself.وَاللَّهُAnd Allahعَزَّ وَجَلَthe Exaltedيَقُولُsaysفِيin٢٤٦246
Submission: We say: We have submitted that the mind does not indicate on love; but the hearing indicates on it and it is a proof standing by itself. And Allah the Exalted says in 246.
