عَلَيْكَYou shouldبِالنِّعْمَةِ؛with the blessings;فَمَنfor it isالْعَدْلِjusticeأَنْthatتَقُومَyou performبِشُكْرِكَ،to thank Him,يُبَيِّنُHe clarifiesاللَّهُAllahلَكَto you;الْحَقَّ؛the truth;فَمَنfor it isالْعَدْلِjusticeأَنْthatتَتَّبِعَyou followهَذَاthisالْحَقُّ.truth.
You should be grateful for the blessings; for it is justice to thank Him. Allah clarifies the truth for you; for it is justice to follow this truth.
وَيَدْخُلُAnd it includesفِيinذَٰلِكَthatالْعَدْلِjusticeفِيinمُعَامَلَاتِtransactionsالْخَلْقِof creation:أَنْthatتُعَامِلَyou treatالنَّاسَpeopleبِمَاas you loveتُحِبُّyou wantأَنْthatيُعَامِلُوكَthey treat youبِهِ وَلهَذَاwith it and thusقَالَthe Prophet saidالنَّبِيُّthe Prophetعَلَيْهِpeace be upon him,مَنْwhoeverأَحَبَّlovesأَنْto be moved awayيُزَحْزِحَfrom fireعَنْfromالنَّارِthe fireوَيَدْخُلَand entersالْجَنَّةَ؛Paradise;فَلْتَأْتِهِlet him come to himمِنْيَتُهُhis deathوَهُوَand he isيُؤْمِنُbelievesبِاللَّهِin Allahوَالْيَوْمِand the Dayالْآخِرِ،of Judgment,وَلْيَأْتِand let him comeإِلَىtoالنَّاسِthe peopleمَاwhatيُحِبُّhe lovesأَنْto be givenيُؤْتَىto him" (1).
And it includes the justice in the dealings with creation: that you treat people as you would love to be treated with. Thus the Prophet peace be upon him said, 'Whoever loves to be moved away from the fire and enter Paradise; let him come to his death while believing in Allah and the Day of Judgment, and let him come to people what he loves to be given.' عَامِلْTreatالنَّاسَthe peopleبِمَاas you loveتُحِبُّyou wantأَنْthatيُعَامِلُوكَthey treat youبِهِ؛with it;مَثَلًا:for example:إِذَاIfأَرَدْتَyou wantأَنْto treatتُعَامِلَsomeone;شَخْصًاsomeone;مُعَامَلَةً؛with transaction;فَاعْرِضْهَاthen offer itأَوَّلًاfirstعَلَىtoنَفْسِكَ:yourself:هَلIsإِذَاifعَامَلَكَsomeone treats you with it;إِنْسَانًاa personبِهَا؛with it;هَلwillتَرْضَىyou be satisfied,أَمor not?إِنْIfكُنتَyou areتَرْضَى؛satisfied;فَعَامِلْهُ،then treat him,وَإِلَّا؛and if not;فَلَاdo notتُعَامِلْهُ.treat him.
Treat people as you love to be treated; for example: If you want to treat someone; then first offer it to yourself: Would you be satisfied if someone treated you with it? If you are satisfied; then treat him, otherwise do not treat him.
وَيَدْخُلُAnd it includesفِيinذَٰلِكَthatالْعَدْلِjusticeبَيْنَbetweenالْأَوْلَادِthe childrenفِيinالْعَطِيَّةِ؛the gifts;قَالَthe Prophet said:اتَّقُواFearاللَّهَAllah;وَاعْدِلُواand be justبَيْنَamongأَوْلَادِكُمْyour children.(۲).(2).
And it includes the justice among children in gifts; the Prophet said: 'Fear Allah and be just among your children.' (2)
وَيَدْخُلُAnd it includesفِيinذَٰلِكَthatالْعَدْلِjusticeبَيْنَbetweenالْوَرَثَةِ؛the heirs;فِيinالْمِيرَاثِ؛the inheritance;فَيُعْطَىeach one is givenكُلُّeveryoneوَاحِدٌoneنَصِيبَهُ،his share,وَلَاand do notيُوَصَّىwill be bequeathedلِأَحَدٍto anyone among themمِنْهُمْof themبِشَيْءٍ.anything.
And it includes the justice between heirs in the inheritance; each one is given his share, and do not bequeath anything to anyone among them.
وَيَدْخُلُAnd it includesفِيinذَٰلِكَthatالْعَدْلِjusticeبَيْنَbetweenالزَّوْجَاتِ؛the wives;بِأَنْby dividingتَقْسِمُyou divideلِكُلِّto each oneوَاحِدَةٍoneمِثْلَlikeمَاwhatتَقْسِمُyou divideلِلْأُخْرَى.to the other.
And it includes the justice between wives; by dividing to each one like what you divide to the other.
