صَلَاتَهُ،his prayer,
His prayer, and he says: O Allah, provide for me.
وَيَنْقَسِمُAnd it is dividedالرِّزْقُthe provisionإِلَىintoقَسْمَيْن:two types:
And it is divided into two types: general and specific.
فَالْعَامُّThe generalكُلُّeverythingمَاthatيَنْتَفِعُbenefitsبِهِfrom it;الْبَدَنُ؛the body;سَوَاءٌwhetherكَانَit wasحَلَالًاlawfulأَوْorحَرَامًا،unlawful,وَسَوَاءٌand whetherكَانَit wasالْمَرْزُوقُthe providedمُسْلِمًاMuslimأَوْorكَافِرًا،disbeliever,وَلِهَذَاAnd for thisقَالَsaidالسَّفَارِينِي(١):al-Safarini(1):
The general is everything that benefits the body; whether it is lawful or unlawful, and whether the provided is a Muslim or a disbeliever, and for this, al-Safarini said:
وَالرِّزْقُand the provisionمَاthat whichيَنْفَعُbenefitsمِنْfromحَلَالِlawfulأَوْorضِدُّهُits opposite;فَحُلْso it is lawfulعَنِْabout theالْمُحَالِimpossible (things).
And the provision is that which benefits, whether it is lawful or its opposite; so it is lawful regarding the impossible (things).
لِأَنَّهُbecause Heرَازِقٌis the provider ofكُلُّallالْخَلْقِcreation,وَلَيْسَand notمَخْلُوقٌa creatureبِغَيْرِwithoutرِزْقٍ.provision.
Because He is the provider of all creation, and there is no creature without provision.
لَئِنْ قُلْتَ:If you say:لَوْIfقُلْتَ:you said:إِنَّIndeed,الرِّزْقَthe provision isهُوَisالْعَطَاءُthe lawful gift. الْحَلَالُ.lawful.
If you say: Indeed, the provision is the lawful gift,
لَكَانَthere would beكُلُّallالَّذِينَthose whoيَأْكُلُونَeatالْحَرَامَ؛forbidden;لَمwould notيُرْزَقُواbe provided,مَعَ أَنَّeven thoughاللَّهَAllahأَعْطَاهُمْgave themمَاwhatتَصْلُحُit makes fitبِهِfor them,أَبْدَانَهُمْ،their bodies,لَكِنَّbutالرِّزْقَthe provisionنَوْعَانِis of two types:طَيِّبٌpure,وَخَبِيثٌand impure,وَلِهَذَاfor this reason,قَالَGod said:اللَّهُAllah,تَعَالَى:the Most High:وَقُلْAnd say:مَنْWhoحَرَّمَforbidsزِينَةَthe adornmentاللَّهِ،of Allah,الَّتِيthat whichأَخْرَجَHe brought forthلِعِبَادِهِ،for His servants,وَالطَّيِّبَاتِand the good thingsمِنَofالرِّزْقِprovision"
For this reason, Allah said: "And say: Who forbids the adornment of Allah, that which He brought forth for His servants, and the good things of provision?"
﴾(﴾الأعرافAl-A'raf:٣٢32،,وَلَمAnd He did notيَقُل:say:وَالرِّزْقَ،and the provision,أَمَّاAs forالْخَبَائِثِthe impure thingsمِنَofالرِّزْقِ؛the provision;فَهِيَthey areحَرَامٌ.unlawful.
And He did not say: and the provision; as for the impure things of the provision, they are unlawful.
أَمَّاAs forالرِّزْقَthe provisionالْخَاصَّ؛the specific;فَهُوَit isمَاwhatيَقُومُis sustainedبِهِby itالدِّينُthe religion withمِنَofالْعِلْمِknowledgeالنَّافِعِthat is beneficialوَالْعَمَلِand the good deedsالصَّاحِحِthat are righteousوَالْرِّزْقُand the provisionالْحَلَالُthe lawfulالْمُعِينُthat aidsعَلَىtoطَاعَةِthe obedience toاللَّهِ،Allah,وَلِهَذَاand for this reason,جَاءَتْhas comeالْآيَةُthe verseالْكَرِيمَةُ:the noble:الرَّزَّاقُ،the provider,وَلَمand He did notيَقُل:say:الرَّازِقُ؛the provider;لِكَثْرَةِdue to the abundanceرِزْقِهِof His provisionوَكُثْرَةِand the multitudeمِنْofيُرْزَقُ؛He provides;فَالَّذِيfor the one whoيُرْزَقُهُis provided byاللَّهُAllah,عَزَّ وَجَلَّthe Mighty and Majestic
As for the specific provision; it is what the religion is sustained by of beneficial knowledge and good deeds, and the lawful provision that aids in obedience to Allah, and for this reason has come the noble verse: the provider, and He did not say: the provider; due to the abundance of His provision and the multitude of those whom He provides; for the one who is provided by Allah, the Mighty and Majestic cannot be counted by type,
فَضْلًاAdditionally,عَنْ أَنْوَاعِهِ،moreover,فَضْلًاbesidesعَنْ أَحَادِهِ؛its units;لِأَنَّbecauseاللَّهَAllahتَعَالَىthe Most High says:وَمَاAnd there is notمِنْany creatureدَابَّةٍthat movesفِيon earthإِلَّاexceptعَلَىuponاللَّهِ،Allah,رِزْقُهَاits provision,وَيَعْلَمُand He knowsمُسْتَقَرَّهَاits place of restوَمُسْتَوْدَعَهَاand its place of deposit.
Additionally, regarding its kinds, besides its units; because Allah, the Most High says: "And there is not any creature that moves on the earth except upon Allah is its provision, and He knows its place of rest and its place of deposit."
وَيُعْطِيAnd He givesاللَّهُAllahالرِّزْقَthe provisionبِحَسَبِaccording toالْحَالِ.the state.
And Allah gives provision according to the state.
