وَقَوْلُهُAnd His saying:﴿(مِنْfromأُنثَىfemale)):يَشْمَلُincludesأَيٌّanyأُنْثَى؛female;سَوَاءٌwhetherآدَمِيَّةٌhumanأَوْorحَيَوَانِيَّةٌanimalأُخْرَى،other,الَّذِيwhichيَحْمِلُcarriesحَيَوَانًاan animalواضِحٌclearأَنَّهُthat heداخِلٌis includedفِيinالْآيَةِ؛the verse;كَالبَقَرَةِ،like a cow,وَبِعِيرٍ،and a camel,وَشَاةٍ ...and a sheep ...وَمَاand whatأَشْبَهَis similarذَٰلِكَ،to that,وَيَدْخُلُand includesفِيinذَٰلِكَthatالَّذِيwhichيَحْمِلُcarriesالْبَيْضَ؛the eggs;كَالطُّيُورِ؛like birds;لِأَنَّbecauseالْبَيْضَthe eggsفِيinجَوْفِthe bellyالطَّائِرِof the birdحَمَلٌis a pregnancy.
And His saying: (from a female): includes any female; whether human or another animal, which carries a clear animal as in the case of a cow, a camel, a sheep... and similar to that. It also includes that which carries eggs; like birds; because the eggs in the belly of the bird is a pregnancy.
وَلَاAnd do notتَضَعُput downإِلَّاexceptبِعِلْمِهِ؛by His knowledge;فَابْتَدَاءٌFor the initiationالْحَمْلِof pregnancyبِعِلْمِwith the knowledgeاللَّهَ،of Allah,وَانْتِهَاؤُهُand its completionوَخُرُوجِand the exitالْجَنِينِof the fetusبِعِلْمِwith the knowledgeاللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ.of Allah (the Exalted and Majestic).
And do not put down except by His knowledge; for the initiation of pregnancy is by the knowledge of Allah, and its completion and the exit of the fetus is also by the knowledge of Allah (the Exalted and Majestic).
الْآيَةُThe verseالرَّابِعَةُthe fourth:قَوْلُهُHis saying:(لِتَعْلَمُوا(That you may knowأَنَّthatاللَّهَAllahعَلَىis overكُلِّallشَيْءٍthingsقَدِيرٌAll-PowerfulوَأَنَّAnd thatاللَّهَAllahقَدْhasأَحَاطَencompassedبِكُلِّwith allشَيْءٍthingعِلْمًاwith knowledge.[الطَّلاق:[At-Talāq:١٢].12].
The verse: (That you may know that Allah is over all things All-Powerful and that Allah has encompassed all things with knowledge.) [At-Talāq: 12].
لِتَعْلَمُواThat you may knowلَامٌThe lambلِلَّتَّعْلِيلِ؛is for reasoning;لِأَنَّbecauseاللَّهَAllahقَالَsaid:﴿﴿اللَّهُAllahالَّذِيwhoخَلَقَcreatedسَبْعَsevenسَمَاوَاتٍheavensوَمِنَand ofالْأَرْضِthe earthمِثْلَهُنَّlike them.يَتَنَزَّلُdescendsالأَمْرُthe commandبَيْنَهُنَّbetween them;لِتَعْلَمُواthat you may knowأَنَّthatاللَّهَAllahعَلَىis overكُلِّallشَيْءٍthings,قَدِيرٌAll-Powerful,[الطَّلاق:[At-Talāq:١٢]؛12];فَقَدْSo,خَلَقَHe createdهَذِهِThisالسَّمَاوَاتِheavensالسَّبْعَsevenوَالْأَرَاضِينَand the earths,السَّبْعَ،seven,وَأَعْلَمَنَاand informed usبِذَٰلِكَ؛of that;لِنَعْلَمَso we may knowأَنَّthatاللَّهَAllahعَلَىis overكُلِّallشَيْءٍthing.
That you may know: The lamb is for reasoning; because Allah said: (Allah is who created seven heavens and of the earth like them. The command descends between them; that you may know that Allah is over all things All-Powerful.) [At-Talāq: 12]. So, He created these seven heavens and the seven earths, and informed us of that; so we may know that Allah is over all things.
الْقُدْرَةُAbilityوَصْفٌis a descriptionيَتَمَكَّنُthat enablesبِهِthe doerالْفَاعِلُto actمِنْofالْفِعْلِthe actionبِدُونِwithoutعَجْزٍ؛inability;فَهُوَHe isعَلَىoverكُلٍّeveryشَيْءٍthingقَدِيرٌ،All-Powerful,يَقْدِرُHe is capableعَلَىofإِيجَادِcreatingالْمَعْدُومِthe nonexistentوَعَلَىand toإِعْدَامِeliminateالْمَوْجُودِ؛the existent;فَالسَّمَاوَاتُFor the heavensوَالْأَرْضُand the earthكَانَتْwereمَعْدُومَةً،nonexistent,فَخَلَقَهَاso He created themاللَّهُAllahعَزَّthe Exaltedوَجَلَّand Majesticوَأَوْجَدَهَاand made them existعَلَىonهَذَاthisالنِّظَامُsystemالْبَدِيعُ.wonderful.
Ability is a description that enables the doer to act without inability; for He is over every thing All-Powerful, capable of creating the nonexistent and eliminating the existent; for the heavens and the earth were nonexistent, so He created them. Allah (the Exalted and Majestic) and made them exist on this wonderful system.
وَأَنَّAnd thatاللَّهَAllahقَدْhasأَحَاطَencompassedبِكُلِّwith allشَيْءٍthing;عِلْمٌknowledge;كُلُّeveryشَيْءٍ؛thing;الصَّغِيرُthe smallوَالْكَبِيرُ،and the big,وَالْمُتَعَلِّقُand concerningبِفَعْلِهِHis actionأَوْorبِفِعْلِthe actionعِبَادِهِof His worshippers;وَالْمَاضِيَand the past;وَاللَّاحِقِand the future;وَالْحَاضِرِ؛and the present;كُلُّallذَٰلِكَthatقَدْhasأَحَاطَencompassedاللَّهُAllahسُبْحَانَهُGlory be to Him;بِهِwith it;عِلْمًا.with knowledge.
And that Allah has encompassed all with knowledge; every thing; the small and the big, and concerning His action or the action of His worshippers; and the past, and the future, and the present; all of that Allah, Glorified be He, has encompassed with knowledge.
وَذَكَرَAnd He mentionedاللَّهُAllahعَزَّthe Exaltedوَجَلَّand Majestic;الْعِلْمَthe knowledgeوَالْقُدْرَةَand power;بَعْدَafterالْخَلْقِ؛the creation;لِأَنَّbecauseالْخَلْقَthe creationلَاdoes notيُمْكِنُcanأَنْtoتَكُونَbeالْقُدْرَةُAbilityقَبْلَbeforeالْخَلْقِ.the creation.
And He mentioned Allah (the Exalted and Majestic); the knowledge and power after the creation; because the creation cannot be before the power.
