إِنَّIndeedالحَمْدُAll praiseلِلَّهِbe to AllahنَحْمَدُهُWe praise Himوَنَسْتَعِينُهُand seek His assistanceوَنَسْتَغْفِرُهُand ask for His forgivenessوَنَعُوذُand seek refugeبِاللَّهِin Allahمِنْfromأَنْفُسِنَاourselvesسَيِّئَاتِthe evilsأَعْمَالِنَاof our deeds,,وَمَنْAnd whoeverيَهْدِهِHe guidesاللَّهُAllahفَلَاthen there is noمُضِلٌّ لَهُmisleader for him,,وَمَنْAnd whoeverيُضَلُّلْHe misleadsفَلَاthen there is noهَادِيَ لَهُguide for him,,وَأَشْهَدُAnd I testifyأَنَّthatلَاthere is noإِلَٰهَdeityإِلَّاexceptاللَّهَAllahوَحْدَهُaloneلَاthere is noشَرِيكٌpartnerلَهُfor Him,,وَأَشْهَدُand I testifyأَنَّthatمُحَمَّدًاMuhammadعَبْدَهُHis servantوَرَسُولَهُand His messengerصَلَّىpeace be uponاللَّهُAllahعَلَيْهِupon himوَعَلَىand uponآلِهِhis familyوَأَصْحَابِهِand his companionsوَمَنْand whoeverتَبِعَهُfollows himبِإِحْسَانٍwith good conductإِلَىtoيَوْمِthe dayالدِّينِof judgment,,وَسَلِّمْand salutationsتَسْلِيمًاabundantكَثِيرًاmany
Indeed, all praise is due to Allah; we praise Him, seek His assistance, and ask for His forgiveness. We seek refuge in Allah from the evils of our own souls and from the bad consequences of our deeds. Whoever Allah guides will not be led astray, and whoever He misleads will find no guide. I testify that there is no deity but Allah alone; He has no partner. I also testify that Muhammad is His servant and messenger; may peace and blessings be upon him, his family, and his companions, and those who follow them in good until the Day of Judgment, with ample peace.
أَمَّاAs forبَعْدَafter::فَقَدْIndeed,مَنَّfavorاللَّهُAllahتَعَالَىthe Most Highعَلَيْنَاupon usبِشَرْحٍwith the explanation«العَقِيدَةُthe creed ofالْوَاسِطِيَّةِ»Al-Wasitiya"الَّتِيwhichأَلَّفَهَاwas authored byشَيْخُthe Sheikhالإِسْلَامِof IslamابْنُIbnتَيْمِيَّةَTaimiyyaفِيinعَقِيدَةِthe creedأَهْلِof the peopleالسُّنَّةِof the Sunnahوَالْجَمَاعَةِand the congregationتَقْرِيرًاas a reportعَلَىtoالطَّلَبَةِthe studentsالَّذِينَwhoدَرَسُوهَاstudied itعَلَيْنَاwith usفِيinالْمَسْجِدِthe mosque,,وَمِنْand dueأَجَلٍto that careحِرْصِهِمtheir eagernessعَلَىtoحِفْظِpreserveالتَّقْرِيرِthe report؛;قَامُواthey organizedبِتَسْجِيلِهِrecording itثُمَّthenتَفْرِيغِهِtranscribing itكِتَابَةًin writingمِنْfromأَشْرِطَةٍtapesالتَّسْجِيلِrecording
As for the rest, Allah the Most High has graced us with the explanation of "Al-Wasitiya creed" which was authored by the Sheikh of Islam Ibn Taimiyya, regarding the creed of the Sunnah and the congregation, as a report for the students who studied it with us in the mosque. Due to their eagerness to preserve the report, they organized its recording and then transcribed it in writing from the tapes.
وَمِنَAnd it is knownالمَعْلُومَاتِthat it is knownأَنَّthatالشَّرْحَthe explanationالمُتَلَقَّىreceivedمِنَfromالتَّقْرِيرِthe reportلَيْسَis notكَالشَّرْحِlike the explanationالمَكْتُوبِwrittenبِالتَّحْرِيرِin form؛;لِأَنَّbecauseالأَوَّلَthe firstيَعْتَرِيَهُis affected byمِنَbyالنَّقْصِdeficiencyوَالزِّيَادَةِand the increaseمَاwhatلَاnotالثَّانِيthe second.
And it is known that the explanation received from the report is not like the written explanation, because the first is affected by deficiency and increase, while the second is not.
وَقَدْAnd severalتَقَدَّمَتْpublishing offices have proceededعِدَّةٌseveralمَكَاتِبُofficesنَشْرٍpublishingبِطَلَبِwith the request forطَبَاعَتِهِits printing،,وَسَبَقَand it was precededإِلَىto that(مَكْتَبَةُ(Libraryطَبَرِيَّةٍ)،Tabariyyah),فَأَخْرَجَتْهُthen it was releasedبِثَوْبٍin a beautiful formقَشِيبٍof shiny cloth,,وَعَلَيْهِand it hasتَعْلِيقَاتٌnotesمُفِيدَةٌbeneficialفِيinتَحْقِيقِهِits verificationوَتَخْرِيجِand the derivationأَحَادِيثِهِof its hadithsلِأَخِينَاfor our brother,أَبِيAbuمُحَمَّدٍMuhammadأَشْرَفَAshrafابْنِibnعَبْدِالمَقْصُودِAbdul-Muqsood
A number of publishing offices have proceeded with the request for printing it, and it was preceded by (Al-Tabari Library), which then released it in a beautiful form, and it has beneficial notes in the verification of its hadiths for our brother Abu Muhammad Ashraf bin Abdul-Muqsood.
