لَكِنَbutفِيهَاin itرَدْعٌdeterrenceقَوِيٌstrongلِلْقَلْبِfor the heart,,وَمَوْعِظَةٌand a sermonوَتَجِدُand you findآيَةًa verseأُخْرَىanotherأَطْوَلَlongerمِنْهَاthan itبِكَثِيرٍby muchلَكِنَbutلَاnotتَشْمَلُincludesعَلَىonمَاwhatتَشْمَلُ عَلَيْهِit includesالْأُولَىthe first؛;فَمَثَلًاfor exampleقَوْلُهُHis sayingتَعَالَىexalted be He::﴿(يَٰأَيُّهَاO you who have believedالَّذِينَthose whoءَامَنُواbelievedإِذَاifتَدَايَنتُمyou contractبِدَيْنٍa debtإِلَىtoأَجَلٍa termمُّسَمًّىspecified,,فَاكْتُبُوهُthen write it down﴾)[البقرة: ۲۸۲][Al-Baqarah: 282]....إلخetc.؛;هَذِهِthisآيَةٌverseمَوْضُوعُهَاits subjectسَهْلٌis easy,,وَالْبَحْثُand the researchفِيهَاin it....فِيinمُعَامَلَاتٍtransactionsتَجْرِيthat occurبَيْنَbetweenالنَّاسِpeople,,وَلَيْسَand there is notفِيهَاin itذَاكَthatالتَّأْثِيرُimpactالَّذِيthat whichيُؤَثِّرُهُit influencesمِثْلَlikeقَوْلُهُHis sayingتَعَالَىexalted be He::كُلُّeveryنَفْسٍsoulذَائِقَةُtastingالْمَوْتِdeathوَإِنَّمَاand indeedتُوَفَّوْنَyou will be givenأُجُورَكُمْyour rewardsيَوْمَon the dayالْقِيَامَةِof judgement,,فَمَنso whoeverزُحْزِحَis removedعَنِfromالنَّارِthe fire,,وَأُدْخِلَand is enteredالْجَنَّةَparadise,,فَقَدْhas certainlyفَازَsucceeded,,وَمَاand whatالْحَيَاةُthe lifeالدُّنْيَاof this worldإِلَّاbutمَتَاعٌan enjoymentالْغُرُورِof delusion﴾)[آل عمران : ١٨٥][Aali 'Imran: 185]؛;فَهَذِهِso thisتَحْمِلُcarriesمَعَانٍmeaningsعَظِيمَةٌgreat,,فِيهَاin itزَجْرٌrebukeوَمَوْعِظَةٌand a sermonوَتَرْغِيبٌand encouragementوَتَرْهِيبٌand intimidationلَيْسَتْare notكَآيَةٍlike the verseالدَّيْنِof debtمِثَالًاfor example,,مَعَwithأَنْthatآيَةٍthe verseالدَّيْنِof debtأَطْوَلُis longerمِنْهَاthan it
But it contains strong deterrence for the heart, and a sermon, and you find another verse much longer than it; but it does not include what the first one includes; for example, His saying: “O you who have believed, when you contract a debt for a specified term, then write it down.” [Al-Baqarah: 282] .. etc.; this verse is easy in its subject, and the research in it is in transactions that occur between people, and it does not have that impact that the saying of Allah carries: "Every soul will taste death, and you will be compensated your wages on the Day of Resurrection. So whoever is removed from the fire and is admitted to Paradise has indeed succeeded, and what is the life of this world except an enjoyment of delusion" [Aali 'Imran: 185]; so this carries great meanings, it contains rebuke, a sermon, encouragement, and intimidation unlike the verse of debt, for example, even though the verse of debt is longer than it.
قَوْلٌsayingالْمُؤَلِّفِthe author::«حَيْثُwhereيَقُولُhe says::﴿(اللَّهُAllahلَاThere is noإِلَهَgodإِلَّاexceptهُوَHim... ..»"فِيinهَذِهِthisالْآيَةُverseيُخْبِرُinformsاللَّهَAllahبِأَنَّهُthat He isمُنْفَرِدٌaloneبِالْأُلُوهِيَّةِwith divinity,,وَذَٰلِكَand thatمِنْfromقَوْلِهِHis saying::لَاnoإِلَهَgodإِلَّاexceptهُوَHim؛;لِأَنَّbecauseهَذِهِthisجُمْلَةٌsentenceتُفِيدُgivesالْحَصْرَexclusivity,,وَطَرِيقَةُand the wayالنَّفْيِof negationوَالْإِثْبَاتِand affirmationهَذِهِthisمِنْofأَقْوَىstrongestصِيَغٍformsالْحَصْرِof exclusivity..وَقَوْلُهُAnd His saying::(الْحَيُّ(The Ever-LivingالْقَيُّومُThe Sustainer
The author's saying: "Where He says: 'Allah, there is no god except Him...': In this verse, Allah informs that He alone is divine, and this is from His saying: 'There is no god except Him'; because this sentence gives exclusivity, and the way of negation and affirmation is one of the strongest forms of exclusivity.
وَقَوْلُهُAnd His saying::(الْحَيُّ(The Ever-LivingالْقَيُّومُThe Sustainer
And His saying: (The Ever-Living, The Sustainer): the Ever-Living means: possessing complete life, which encompasses all attributes of perfection—never preceded by nonexistence, nor does it face destruction, nor is it subject to any deficiency in any way.
وَandالْحَيُّThe LivingمِنْofأَسْمَاءِnamesاللَّهِAllahوَقَدْand hasتُطْلَقُis namedعَلَىonغَيْرِother thanاللَّهِ؛Allah;قَالَHe saidتَعَالَىexalted be He::﴿(يُخْرِجُHe brings outالْحَيَّThe Livingمِنَfromالْمَيِّتِthe dead﴾)[الْأَنْعَامِ: ٩٥][Al-An'am: 95],,وَلَكِنَّbutلَيْسَnotالْحَيُّThe Livingكَالْحَيِّlike the living,,وَلَاand notيَلْزَمُit followsمِنْfromالِاشْتِرَاكِthe sharingفِيinالِاسْمِthe nameالتَّمَاثُلِthe similarityفِيinالْمُسَمَّىthe namedالْقَيُّومِThe Sustainer))عَلَىonوَزْنِthe weightفِيَعُولُfi'ul formوَهَذِهِand theseمِنْofصِيَغِformsالْمُبَالَغَةِof exaggeration
The Ever-Living is one of the names of Allah and may also refer to others; Allah, exalted be He, said: “He brings out the living from the dead” [Al-An'am: 95], but the living is not like the living, and sharing the name does not necessitate similarity in the named.
