فَفَهِمْنَاSo we understoodمِنْfromكَلِمَةٍthe word::«مُصَدِّقُونَ»"believers"::إِنَّهُمْthat they areمُصَدِّقُونَbelieversمِنْfromقَبْلِbeforeاللَّهِAllahبِالْآيَاتِby the signsالْكَوْنِيَّةِof the universeوَالشَّرْعِيَّةِ،and the legal ones,مُصَدِّقُونَbelieversمِنْfromقَبْلِbeforeالْخَلْقِ؛the creation;أَيٍّ:that is:يَجِبُit is obligatoryأَنْtoيُصَدِّقُوا،to believe,وَإِنَّمَاand onlyحَمَلْنَاwe tookذَلِكَthatعَلَىonالتَّصْدِيقِthe beliefشَرْعًا؛according to Islamic law;لِأَنَّbecauseمِنَof peopleالنَّاسِpeopleمِنْofصَدَقَbelievedوَمِنَand someالنَّاسِpeopleمِنْofلَمْdid notيُصَدِّقْbelieveلَكِنْbutالْوَاجِبَthe obligationالتَّصْدِيقَ.is to believe.
So we understood from the word: "believers": that they are believers from Allah by the cosmic and legal signs, believers from the creation; that is: they must believe, and we took that based on the belief according to Islamic law; because of people, some have believed and some have not believed, but the obligation is to believe.
قَوْلُهُHis statement::بِخِلَافِunlikeالَّذِينَthose whoيَقُولُونَsayعَلَيْهِabout himمَا لَاwhat they do notيَعْلَمُونَ»know.”::فَهَؤُلَاءِSo theseكَاذِبُونَare liarsأوorضَالُونَ؛misguided;لِأَنَّهُمْbecause theyقَالُواsaidمَاwhatلاnotيَعْلَمُونَ.they know.
His statement: "Unlike those who say about Him what they do not know”: these are liars or misguided; because they said what they do not know.
وَكَنْAnd it seemsالْمُؤَلِّفُthe authorيُشِيرُrefersإِلَىtoأَهْلِthe people ofالتَّحْرِيفِ؛distortion;لِأَنَّbecauseأَهْلَthe people ofالتَّحْرِيفِthe distortionقَالُواsaidعَلَىaboutاللَّهِAllahمَاwhatلاnotيَعْلَمُونَknowمِنْfromوَجْهَيْنِtwo aspectsقَالُوا:They said:إِنَّهُthat Heلَمْdid notيَرِدْintendكَذَاsuchوَأَرَادَand wantedكَذَا!such!فَقَالُواSo they saidفِيinالسَّلْبِnegationوَالْإِيجَابِand affirmationبِمَاwith whatلاthey do notيَعْلَمُونَ.know.
And it seems that the author refers to the people of distortion; because the people of distortion said about Allah what they do not know from two aspects. They said: that He did not intend such and wanted such! So they spoke in negation and affirmation with what they do not know.
مَثَلًاFor example,قَالُوا:they said:لَمْdid notيَرِدْintendبِالْوَجْهِwith the faceالْوَجْهُthe faceالْحَقيقِيِّ!the real!فَهُنَاSo hereقَالُواthey saidعَلَىaboutاللَّهِAllahمَاwhatلاnotيَعْلَمُونَthey knowبِالسَّلْبِin negationثُمَّthenقَالُواthey saidوَالْمُرَادَand the intendedبِالْوَجْهِby the faceالثَّوَابَ!reward!
For example, they said: He did not intend with the face the real! So here they said about Allah what they do not know in negation, then they said that the intended by the face is the reward!
فَهَؤُلَاءِSo theseالَّذِينَwhoيَقُولُونَsayعَلَىaboutاللَّهِAllahمَاwhatلاnotيَعْلَمُونَthey knowلَاwill notيَكُونُونَbeصَادِقِينَtruthfulوَلَاnorمُصَدَّقِينَbelievedوَلَاnorمُصَدِّقِينَbelieversبَلْratherقَامَتِhas establishedالأَدِلَّةُthe evidenceعَلَىagainstأَنَّهُمْthat they areكَاذِبُونَliarsمَكْذُوبُونَfalseبِمَاby whatأَوْحَىinspiredإِلَيْهِمُto themالشَّيْطَانُ.the devil.
So these who say about Allah what they do not know will not be truthful nor believed nor believers; rather, the evidence has established against them that they are liars and false by what the devil has inspired to them.
قَوْلُهُ:His statement:«وَلِهَذَاAnd for this reasonقَالَhe saidسُبْحَانَهُGlory be to Himوَتَعَالَى:and Exalted is He:﴿﴿سُبْحَانَGloryرَبِّكَis your Lord,رَبِّLordالْعِزَّةِof glory,عَمَّfrom whatيَصِفُونَthey describe**وَسَلَامُAnd peaceعَلَىuponالْمُرْسَلِينَthe messengers,**وَالْحَمْدُAnd praiseلِلَّهِis for Allah,رَبِّthe Lordالْعَالَمِينَof the worlds.”﴾﴾[الصَّافَّات[As-Saffat::١٣٩139[١٨٣ – ١٨٠[183 - 180
His statement: "And for this reason, He said: Glory be to Him and Exalted is He: (Glory be to Your Lord, the Lord of Glorification, from what they describe * And peace upon the messengers * And praise is for Allah, Lord of the worlds)" [As-Saffat: 139 [183 - 180]
