فَقالَHe saidالمُؤَلِّفُThe authorثُمَّThenرُسُلُهُHis messengersصَادِقُونَare truthfulمَصْدُوقُونَand accepted as truthful؛;بِخِلَافِIn contrast toالَّذِينَthose whoيَقُولُونَsayعَلَيْهِabout himمَاwhatلَاnotيَعْلَمُونَthey know
The author said: "Then His messengers are truthful and accepted as truthful; in contrast to those who say about Him what they do not know."

قَوْلُهُHis saying::«ثُمَّ"ThenرُسُلُهُHis messengersصَادِقُونَare truthfulمَصْدُوقُونَand accepted as truthful(١)(1)
His saying: "Then His messengers are truthful and accepted as truthful (1):
الصَّادِقُThe truthful::المُخْبِرُthe informantبِمَاof whatطَابَقَmatchesالْوَاقِعَthe reality;فَكُلُّSo everyالرُّسُلُthe messengersصَادِقُونَare truthfulفِي مَاin whatأَخْبَرُواthey informedبِهِabout it.
The truthful: the informant of what matches the reality; so every messenger is truthful in what they have informed about.
وَلَكِنَّHoweverلَاnotبِدَmustأَنْthatيَثْبُتَit is establishedالسَّنَدُthe chain of transmissionإِلَىtoالرُّسُلِthe messengersعَلَيْهِمُupon themالسَّلاَمُpeace؛;فَإِذَاSo ifقَالَتْsayالْيَهُودُthe JewsقَالَsaidمُوسَىMosesكَيْفَsuch and such;وَهَكَذَاand such;؛;فَلَاthen we do notنَقْبَلُacceptحَتَّىuntilنَعْلَمَwe knowصِحَّةَthe authenticityسَندِهِof its chainإِلَىtoمُوسَىMosesوَإِذَاAnd ifقَالَتْsayالنَّصَارَىthe ChristiansقَالَsaidعِيسَىJesusكَيْفَsuch and such;وَهَكَذَاand such;؛;فَلَاthen we do notنَقْبَلُacceptحَتَّىuntilنَعْلَمَwe knowصِحَّةَthe authenticityسَندِهِof its chainإِلَىtoعِيسَىJesusوَإِذَاAnd ifقَالَsaidقَائِلٌthe one who says::قَالَsaidمُحَمَّدٌMuhammadرَسُولُthe Messengerاللَّهِof Allah;كَيْفَsuch and such;؛;فَلَاthen we do notنَقْبَلُacceptحَتَّىuntilنَعْلَمَwe knowصِحَّةَthe authenticityسَندِهِof its chainإِلَىtoمُحَمَّدٌMuhammad;فَرُسُلُهُSo his messengersصَادِقُونَare truthfulفِي مَاin whatيَقُولُونَthey say;فَكُلُّSo everyمَاwhatيُخْبِرُونَthey informبِهِabout it;مِنْofمَخْلُوقَاتِهِHis creatures;فَهُمْthey areصَادِقُونَtruthful in it,لَاdo notيَكْذِبُونَlie;أَبَدًاever.
So his messengers are truthful in what they say; so everything they inform about Allah and His creatures, they are truthful in it, they do not lie ever.
وَلِهَذَاAnd for this reason,أَجْمَعَthe scholars agreedالعُلَمَاءُthe scholarsعَلَىonأَنْthatالرُّسُلَthe messengers,عَلَيْهِمُupon themالصَّلَاةَpeaceوَالسَّلاَمَand greetingsمَعْصُومُونَare protected fromمِنَfromالكَذِبِlies.
And for this reason, the scholars agreed that the messengers, peace and blessings be upon them, are protected from lies.
مُصَدَّقُونَ"Accepted as truthful"أَوْorمُصَدَّقُونَ"Confirmed as truthful"نُسَخَتَانِtwo readings:::

أَمَّاAs forعَلَىaccording toنُسْخَةِthe version ofمَصْدُوقُونَ"Accepted as truthful";فَالْمَعْنَىthe meaning is thatأَنْthatمَاwhatأُوحِيَwas revealedإِلَيْهِمْto them;فَهُوَit isصِدْقٌtruth,وَالْمَصْدُوقُand the accepted as truthfulالَّذِيthat whichأَخْبَرَinformedبِالصِّدْقِtruthfully,وandالصَّادِقُthe truthful
As for the version of "Accepted as truthful"; the meaning is that what was revealed to them is truth, and the accepted as truthful is that which informed truthfully, and the truthful is derived.
