His statement: (and they do not describe or compare His attributes with the attributes of His creation; because He is exalted, there is no similarity to Him, nor any equivalent to Him, and He cannot be compared to His creation, exalted and exalted.)

Explanation: His statement: "and they do not describe"; that is: the people of the tradition and the community, and it has been previously mentioned that describing how the attributes, whether you mention it with your tongue or with your heart; so the people of the tradition and community do not describe ever; it means: they do not say: how is His hand like this and like this and not how is His face like this and like that; the same manner, they do not describe this by either the tongue or the heart either; meaning a person cannot imagine how Allah, glorified and exalted, stands or falls or how is His face or how is His hand, and it is not permissible to attempt that either; because this will lead to one of two things: either simile, or negation.
فَلَاSo do notيُكَيِّفُواdescribingهَذَاthisبِاللِّسَانِby the tongueوَلَاand notبِالْقَلْبِby the heartأَيْضًا؛also;يَعْنِيmeaningنَفْسَthe نفسالإِنْسَانِof a humanلَاdoes notيَتَصَوَّرُimagineكَيْفَhowاسْتَوَىٰHe stood upاللَّهُAllahعَزَّ وَجَلَّthe Almighty and MajesticأَوْorكَيْفَhowيَنْزِلُHe descendsأَوْorكَيْفَhowوَجْهُهُHis faceأَوْorكَيْفَhowيَدُهُ،His hand,وَلَاand notيَجُوزُis permissibleأَنْthatيُحَاوِلَattemptذَلِكَthisأَيْضًا؛also;لِأَنَّbecauseهَذَاthisيُؤَدِّيleadsإِلَىtoأَحَدِone ofأَمْرَيْنِtwo matters::إِمَّاeitherالتَّمْثِيلِ،the representation,أَوْorالتَّعْطِيلِ.the negation.
So they do not describe this by the tongue or by the heart either; meaning a person cannot imagine how Allah, exalted and Almighty, stands or descends, or how His face or His hand is, and it is not permissible to attempt that; because this leads to one of two matters: either representation, or negation.
وَلِهَذَاAnd for this reason,لَاit is notيَجُوزُpermissibleلِلْإِنْسَانِfor a personأَنْtoيُحَاوِلَattemptمَعْرِفَةَto knowكَيْفِيَّةَhowاسْتِوَاءِthe standingاللَّهِAllahعَلَىonالْعَرْشِ،the throne,أَوْorيَقُولَsayبِلِسَانِهِ،with his tongue,بَلْratherوَلَاand notيَسْأَلَaskعَنْaboutالْكَيْفِيَّةِ؛the manner;لِأَنَّbecauseالإِمَامَImamمَالِكًاMalik,رَحِمَهُ اللَّهُmay Allah have mercy on him,قَالَ:said:«السُّؤَالُ"The questionعَنْهُabout itبِدْعَةٌ»،is an innovation,"لَاdo notتَقُلْ:say:كَيْفَhowاسْتَوَى؟did He stand?
And for this reason, it is not permissible for a person to attempt to know how Allah stands on the throne, or to say with his tongue, rather he should not even ask about the manner; because Imam Malik, may Allah have mercy on him, said: "Asking about it is an innovation," do not say: how did He stand?
كَيْفَHowيَنْزِلُ؟does He descend?
How does He descend?

His statement: "and they do not compare;" that is the people of the tradition and community: His attributes with the attributes of His creation, and this is the meaning of his statement in what has preceded of without comparison, and has preceded to us the refusal of representation by hearing and reasoning and that hearing has come as news and as a request.
