Philosophers: a reason, and the Christians called him Father, and Jesus: the Son; so this is

إلْحَادٌblasphemyفِيinأَسْمَاءِthe namesاللَّهِof God،,وَكَذَلِكَand likewiseلَوْifسَمَّىhe namedاللَّهَGodبِأَيِّby anyاسْمٍnameلَمْhe did notيَسْمُnameبِهِwith itنَفْسَهُhimself؛;فَهُوَthen he isمُلْحِدٌa blasphemerفِيinأَسْمَاءِthe namesاللَّهِof God..

This is blasphemy in the names of God, and likewise, if he named God by any name that He did not name Himself; then he is a blasphemer in the names of God.

وَوَجْهُand the reasonذَلِكَfor thatأَنْis thatأَسْمَاءُthe namesاللَّهِof Godعَزَّthe Almightyوَجَلَّand Exaltedتَوْقِيفِيَّةٌare restricted؛;فَلَاtherefore notيُمْكِنُit is possibleأَنْtoنُثَبِّتَwe establishلَهُfor Himإِلَّاexceptمَاwhatثَبَتَis establishedبِالنَّصِّby textual evidence،,فَإِذَاtherefore ifسَمَّيْتَyou namedاللَّهَGodبِمَاwith whatلَمْhe did notيَسْمُnameبِهِwith itنَفْسَهُHimself؛;فَقَدْthen you haveألْحَدْتَblasphemedوَمِلْتَand inclinedعَنْfromالْوَاجِبِthe obligation

The reason for that is that the names of God, the Almighty and Exalted, are restricted; therefore, it is not possible for us to establish for Him except what is established by textual evidence; therefore, if you named God with what He did not name Himself; then you have blasphemed and inclined away from the obligation.

وَتَسْمِيَةٌAnd namingاللَّهِGodبِمَاwith whatلَمْhe did notيَسْمُnameبِهِwith itنَفْسَهُHimselfسُوءٌbadnessأَدَبٌetiquetteمَعَwithاللَّهِGodوَظُلْمٌand injusticeوَعُدْوَانٌand aggressionفِيinحَقِّهِHis right؛;لَأَنَّهُbecauseلَوْifأَنْthatأَحَدٌsomeoneدَعَاكَinvited youبِغَيْرِby anotherاسْمِكَyour nameأَوْorسَمَّاكَcalled youبِغَيْرِby anotherاسْمِكَyour name؛;لَاعْتَبَرْتَهُyou would consider himقَدْthatاعْتَدَىas an offenseعَلَيْكَupon youوَظَلَمَكَand unjusted youهَذَاthisفِيinالْمَخْلُوقِthe created;;فَكَيْفَhow thenبِالْخَالِقِabout the Creator

And naming God with what He did not name Himself is bad etiquette with God, injustice and aggression in relation to Him; because if someone invited you with another name or called you by another name; you would consider him as having committed an offense against you and having wronged you, this in the created; how then about the Creator?

،,إذًاthen؛;لَيْسَis notلَكَfor youحَقٌّa rightأَنْtoتُسَمِّيyou nameاللَّهَGodبِمَاwith whatلَمْhe did notيَسْمُnameبِهِwith itنَفْسَهُHimself،,فَإِنَّfor ifفَعَلْتَyou did؛;فَأَنْتَthen you areمُلْحِدٌa blasphemerفِيinأَسْمَاءِthe namesاللَّهِof God..

Then, you have no right to name God with what He did not name Himself; for if you did; then you are a blasphemer in the names of God.

النَّوْعُthe second typeالثَّانِيthe second::أَنْthatيُنْكِرُhe deniesشَيْئًاsomethingمِنْofأَسْمَائِهِHis names؛;عَكَسُin contrastالأَوَّلُthe first؛;فَالأَوَّلُthe first isاللَّهُGodبِمَاwith whatلَمْhe did notيَسْمُnameبِهِwith itنَفْسَهُHimselfوَهَذَاand thisجَرَّدَdeprivedاللَّهَGodمِمَّاfrom whatسَمَّىHe namedبِهِwith itنَفْسَهُHimself،,فَإِنْ كَانَthen he deniesالْاسْمُthe name؛;سَوَاءًwhetherأَنْكَرَhe deniesكُلَّallالأَسْمَاءِthe namesأَوْorبَعْضَهَاsome of themالَّتِيthatتُثَبِّتُestablishلِلَّهِfor God؛;فَإِذَاthen ifأَنْكَرَهَاhe denies them؛;فَقَدْthen he hasألْحَدَblasphemedفِيَهَاin them

The second type: to deny something from His names; the opposite of the first; for the first is that God with what He did not name Himself, and this deprives God of what He named Himself; then he denies the name; whether he denies all the names or some of them that are established for God; then if he denies them; then he has blasphemed in them.

سَمَّىHe namedوَوَجْهُAnd the reasonالإِلْحَادُthe blasphemyفِيهَاin them::أَنَّهُis thatلَمَّاwhenأَثْبَتَهَاhe established themاللَّهُGodلِنَفْسِهِfor Himself؛;وَجَبَit is necessaryعَلَيْنَاupon usأَنْtoنُثَبِّتَهَاwe establish themلَهُfor Him؛;فَإِذَاtherefore ifنَفَيْنَاهَاwe deny them؛;كَانَتْit wasإِلْحَادًاa blasphemy

And the reason for blasphemy in them is that when God established them for Himself; it is necessary upon us to establish them for Him; therefore if we deny them; it was a blasphemy.

وَهُنَاكَAnd there areمِنَofالنَّاسِthe peopleمَنْthose whoإِنْكَارٌdenyالأَسْمَاءِthe names؛;كَغُلَاةٍlike the extremistsالْجَهْمِيَّةِof the Jahmites،,فَقَالُواthey saidلَيْسَthere is notلِلَّهِfor Godاسْمٌnameأَبَدًاever,,قَالُواthey saidلَأَنَّكَbecause youلَوْifأَثْبَتَّyou establishلَهُfor Himاسْمًاa name؛;شَبَّهْتَهُyou have made Him similar

And there are those among the people who deny the names; like the extremists of the Jahmites, they said: there is no name for God ever! They said because you, if you establish a name for Him; you have made Him similar.
