Islam is for Allah, the Glorious and Exalted. Do not search in these matters, and therefore I always warn you.

I always warn you against researching regarding the names of Allah and His attributes in a way that is obstinate and pretentious, which the Companions never asked about.

Because if we open these doors upon ourselves, the doors will open upon us, the walls will collapse, and we will be unable to control ourselves; therefore, say: 'We heard, we obeyed, we believed, and we affirmed; we believed and we affirmed the news; we obeyed the request; and we heard the saying; until you are safe!'

And any person who asks about the attributes of Allah something that the Companions asked about; then say as Imam Malik said: 'For you, this asking about it is an innovation.'

وَهُنَاكَAnd there isكَلَامٌspeechلِلْسَّلَفِof the predecessorsيَدُلُّindicatesعَلَىthatأَنَّهُمْtheyيَفْهَمُونَunderstandمَعَانِيَthe meaningsمَاwhatأَنزَلَwas revealedاللَّهُAllahعَلَىuponرَسُولِهِHis Messengerمِنَofالْصِّفَاتِthe attributes؛;كَمَاasنُقِلَit was narratedعَنْfromالْأَوْزَاعِيِّAl-Awzaiوَغَيْرِهِand others؛;نَقَلُواthey reportedعَنْهُمْabout themأَنَّهُمْthat theyقَالُواsaidفِيinآيَاتِthe versesالصِّفَاتِof the attributesوَأَحَادِيثِهَاand its hadith::(أَمْرُوْهَا(They directed itكَمَاasجَاءَتْit cameبِلَاwithoutكَيْفٍhow)(١)(1)،,
And there is a saying of the predecessors that indicates that they understand the meanings of what Allah has revealed to His Messenger from the attributes; as it was reported from Al-Awzai and others that they said regarding the verses of the attributes and their hadith: 'They directed it as it came’, without how (1).
وَهَذَاAnd thisيَدُلُّindicatesعَلَىthatأَنَّهُمْtheyيَثْبُتُونَestablishلَهَاfor itمَعْنًىa meaningمِنْofوَجْهَيْنِtwo aspects؛;أَوَّلًاFirstly::أَنَّهُمْthat theyقَالُواsaid::أَمَرُوهَاThey directed itكَمَاasجَاءَتْit came،,وَمَعْلُومٌand it is knownأَنَّهَاthat itأَلْفَاظٌwordsجَاءَتْcameلِمَعَانٍfor meanings،,وَلَمْand it is notتَأْتِcameعَبَثًاin vain،,فَإِذَاso ifأَمَرْنَاهَاwe pass themكَمَاasجَاءَتْit came؛;لَزِمَit is necessaryمِنْthat(١)(1)
And this indicates that they establish a meaning for it from two aspects: firstly, that they said: 'They directed it as it came', and it is known that it is words that came for meanings, and did not come in vain. So if we pass them as they came, it necessitates (1).
