سُجُودُ

the prostration

وَسَلَّمَ

and (may He) grant peace

عَلَيْهِ

upon him

اللَّهُ

Allah

صَلَّى

(may He) bless

هَدْيِهِ

his guidance

مِنْ

from

وَكَانَ

And it was

It was from his guidance (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) to perform the prostration of thanks upon the occurrence of a blessing or the removal of an affliction.
