The second topic: The attribution of the book to the author.
تُعَتَبَرُIt is consideredنِسْبَةُthe attributionهَذاof thisالكِتابِbookإلىtoمُؤَلِّفِهِits authorشَيْخِSheikhالإِسلامِof IslamابنَIbnتَيْمِيَّةَTaimiyaأَمْرًاa matterهامًاimportant,
The attribution of this book to its author, Sheikh of Islam Ibn Taimiya, is an important matter.
نَظَرًاGivenلِمَاwhatوَقَعَhas occurredفيinذَلكَthatمِنْofاختلافٍdisagreementبَيْنَbetweenالبَاحِثِينَresearchersوَالمُفَهرِسِينَand catalogers,
Given what has occurred in that regarding the disagreement among researchers and catalogers,
وَشَمَلَand it includedالخِلافَthe disagreementالمُؤَيِّدِينَof the supportersلِلشَّيْخِof the Sheikhوَالمُعَارِضِينَand the opponentsلَهُto him,
and it included the disagreement of the supporters of the Sheikh and the opponents to him,
وَوَصَلَand it reachedالأَمْرَthe matterإلىtoحَدٍّthe extentإنْكَارِof denyingوُجُودَthe existenceهَذاof thisالتَّأَلِيفِtreatiseلِشَيْخِof Sheikhالإِسلامِof Islam,وَالْحُكْمُand the judgmentبِوَهْمٍof a misconceptionمِنْof one whoنَسَبَهُattributed itإِلَيْهِto him,
and it reached the extent of denying the existence of this treatise for the Sheikh of Islam, and the judgment of a misconception from the one who attributed it to him,
وَإِنْand ifكَانَit wasالَّذِيthe one whoنَسَبَهُattributed itمِنَfromأَلصَّقِthe closestالنَّاسِpeopleوَأَخْبَرَهُمْand informed themبِهِabout it,وَهُوَand it isتَلْمِيذُهُhis studentإبنُIbnالْقَيِّمِal-Qayyim.
and if the one who attributed it is the closest people and informed them about it, and it is his student, Ibn al-Qayyim.
وَبَيَانٌAnd explainingذَلكَthat:
And explaining that:
أَنَّThatالنُّسْخَةَthe copyالَّتِيwhichوُجِدَتْwas foundمِنْofهَذاthisالكِتَابِbookفِيinدارِthe house ofالكِتَابِthe bookالمِصْرِيَّةِEgyptian (library)(١)(1)
That the copy that was found of this book in the Egyptian House of the Book (1)
لَمْdid notيُذْكَرْmentionفِيهاin itنِسْبَتُهَاits attributionإلىtoشَيْخِSheikhالإِسلامِof Islam,وَبُنِيَand basedعَلَىon that,
did not mention its attribution to the Sheikh of Islam, and based on that,
تَرَدَّدَthere was hesitationالمُفَهرِسُونَthe catalogersفِيinنِسْبَتِهَاits attributionلِلْمُؤَلِّفِto the author,
the catalogers hesitated in its attribution to the author,
فَقَالُواso they saidعِندَwhenفَهْرَسْتِهَاthey were cataloging it:يُظَنُّit is thoughtأَنَّهَاthat it isلِشَيْخِfor Sheikhالإِسلامِof IslamابنَIbnتَيْمِيَّةَTaimiya.(٢)(2)
so they said when cataloging it: it is thought that it is for Sheikh of Islam Ibn Taimiya (2).
وَتَبَعًاConsequently,لِذَلكَdue to that,ذَكَرَhe mentionedالدُّكْتُورَDr.عَوَّضَ اللهَAwad AllahحَجازِيHajaziفِيinكِتَابِهِhis book"ابنَ"Ibnالْقَيِّمِal-Qayyimوَمَوْقِفِهِand his stanceمِنْonالتَّفْكِيرِthe thoughtالإِسلامِيِّIslamic" (3)
