اَلْفَرْقُThe differenceبَيْنَbetweenبَقَاءِthe existenceالْجَنَّةِof paradise,,وَالنَّارِand hell,,شَرْعًاlegally,,وَعَقْلًاand rationally

The difference between the existence of paradise and hell, legally and rationally.

فَأَمَّاAs forشَرْعًاlegally,,فَمِنْit is fromوُجُوهٍaspects

As for legally, it is from aspects.

أَحَدُهَاOne of them::أَنْthatاللَّهَAllahأَخْبَرَinformedبِبَقَاءِof the existenceنَعِيمِof the blissالْجَنَّةِof paradiseوَدَوَامِهِand its permanence,,وَأَنَّهُand thatلَاitنَفَادَdoes not depleteلَهُto itوَلَاand notانْقِطَاعَdiscontinuityفِيinغَيْرِother thanمَوْضِعٍplacesمِنْofكِتَابِهِthe Book،,كَمَاasأَخْبَرَinformedأَنَّthatأَهْلَthe peopleالْجَنَّةِof paradiseلَاdo notيَخْرُجُونَexitمِنْهَاfrom it

One of them is that Allah informed of the existence and permanence of the bliss of paradise, and that it does not deplete or have discontinuity in any places in His Book, as He informed that the people of paradise do not exit from it.

وَأَمَّاAs forالنَّارِthe hellوَعَذَابِهَاand its torment,,فَلَمHe did notيُخْبِرْinformبِبَقَاءِof the existenceذَلِكَthat,,بَلْratherأَخْبَرَHe informedأَنَّthatأَهْلَهَاits peopleلَاdo notيَخْرُجُونَexitمِنْهَاfrom it

As for the hell and its torment, He did not inform of the existence of that; rather, He informed that its people do not exit from it.

الثَّانِيThe second::أَنَّهُis thatأَخْبَرَHe informedبِمَاof whatيَدِلُّindicatesعَلَىthatأَنَّهُit is notبِمُؤَيَّدٍsupportedفِيinعِدَّةٍseveralآيَاتٍverses

The second is that He informed of what indicates that it is not supported in several verses.

الثَّالِثُThe third::أَنَّthatالنَّارَthe hellلَمdid notيَذْكُرْهَاmention itفِيهاin itشَيْئًاanythingيَدُلُّthat indicatesعَلَىthatالدَّوَامَpermanence

The third is that the hell did not mention anything in it that indicates permanence.

الرَّابِعُThe fourth::إنَّIndeedالنَّارَthe hellقَيَّدَهَاlimited itبِقَوْلِهِby His saying::{لَابِثِينَ{abidingفِيهَاin itأَحْقَابًا}for periods}

The fourth is that the hell is limited by His saying: {abiding in it for periods}.

وَقَوْلُهُAnd His saying::{خَالِدِينَ{eternallyفِيهَاin itإِلَّاexceptمَاwhatشَاءَwillsاللَّهُ}Allah}

And His saying: {eternally in it except what Allah wills}.

وَقَوْلُهُAnd His saying::{مَا{as long asدَامَتِthe heavens andالسَّمَاوَاتُthe earth remainوَالْأَرْضُand the earthإِلَّاexceptمَاwhatشَاءَwillsرَبُّكَ}your Lord}

And His saying: {as long as the heavens and the earth remain except what your Lord wills}.

فَهَذِهِSo theseثَلَاثٌthreeآيَاتٌversesتَقْضِيindicateقَضِيَّةًa matterمُؤَقَّتَةًthat is temporary,,أَوْorمُعَلَّقَةًconditionalعَلَىonشَرْطٍa condition,,وَذَاكَwhile thatدَائِمٌis eternalمُطْلَقٌunconditional,,لَيْسَnotبِمُؤَقَّتٍtemporaryوَلَاnorمُعَلَّقٍconditional

So these three verses indicate a matter that is temporary or conditional, while that is eternal and unconditional, not temporary or conditional.
