فَيَقُولُونَThey say:يَاOرَبَّنَاOur Lord,وَأَيُّand whatشَيْءٍthingأَفْضَلُis betterمِنْthanهَذَا؟this?
They say: O our Lord, and what thing is better than this?
فَيَقُولُHe says:رَضَايَMy pleasure,فَلَاso I do notأَسْخَطُdispleaseعَلَيْكُمْyou after
He says: My pleasure, so I do not displease you after.
وَفِيAnd inرَوَايَةٍ:a narration:مِنْfromإِيمَانٍfaith.بَدَلَinstead ofقَوْلِهِ:his saying:مِنْfromخَيْرٍ،good,قَالَhe said in it:فَيَقُولُThe Almighty says:قَدْIndeed,بَقِيَتْmy intercession remains,شَفَاعَتِي،my intercession,فَيَقْبِضَso He takes a handfulقَبْضَةًof fire,مِنَfromالنَّارِ،the fire,فَيُخْرِجُso He brings outأَقْوَامًاa group of peopleقَدِwho haveامْتَشَحُواbeen burnt.فَلْيُلْقِهِمْThen He casts themفِيintoنَهْرٍa riverبِأَفْوَاهِat the mouthsالْجَنَّةِof Paradise...
And in a narration: 'from faith' instead of His saying: 'from good,' he said in it: The Almighty says: Indeed, my intercession remains, so He takes a handful from the fire, so He brings out a group of people who have been burnt. Then He casts them into a river at the mouths of Paradise...
وَلَمْAnd did notيَقُلْ:say:لَمْThey neverيَعْمَلُواworked anyخَيْرًاgoodقَطَّ.ever.
And did not say: 'They never worked any good ever.'
وَفِيAnd inالصَّحِيحَيْنِthe two authentic collectionsعَنْfromابْنِIbnمَسْعُودٍ،Mas'ud,عَنْfromالنَّبِيِّthe Prophetصَلَّىpeaceاللهُof Allahعَلَيْهِupon Himوَسَلَّمَbe upon him::إِنِّيIndeed Iلَأَعْلَمُknow the lastآخِرَlastأَهْلِof the peopleالنَّارِof the fireخُرُوجًاto exit from it,مِنْهَا،from it,وَآخِرَand the lastالْجَنَّةِof Paradiseدُخُولًاto enterالْجَنَّةَ:Paradise:رَجُلٌA manيَخْرُجُwill come outمِنَfromالنَّارِthe fireحَبْوًا،crawling,فَيَقُولُand says to Allah:اللَّهُAllah,لَهُ:to him:اذْهَبْ:Go and enter the Paradise,فَيَأْتِيهَا،and he comes to it,فَتَخَيَّلُand it appears to himإِلَيْهِto himأَنَّهَاthat it isمَلَآى -full -إِلَىuntilأَنْhe says:يَقُولَHe says to Allah:اللَّهَAllah,لَهُ:to him:اذْهَبْ،Go,فَإِنَّfor youلَكَis for youعَشَرَةُtenأَمْثَالِtimesالدُّنْيَا -the world -أَوْorإِنَّindeed for youلَكَis for youالدُّنْيَا،the world,وَعَشَرَةٌand ten times
And in the authentic collections from Ibn Mas'ud, from the Prophet (peace be upon him) that he said: 'Indeed I know the last person to exit from the fire, and the last to enter Paradise: a man will come out from the fire crawling, and Allah will say to him: Go and enter Paradise, and he comes to it, and it appears to him that it is full - until he says: He says to Allah: Go, for you have ten times the world - or indeed for you is the world, and ten times.
وَفِيAnd inرَوَايَةٍa narrationلِمُسْلِمٍ:by Muslim:فَيَقُولُHe says to him:تَمَنَّ،Wish,فَتَمَنَّى،and he wishes,فَيُقَالُand it is told to him:لَكَTo youالَّذِيthat whichتَمَنَّيْتَ،you wished for,وَعَشَرَةٌand ten times it.
And in a narration by Muslim: He says to him: 'Wish,' and he wishes, and it is told to him: 'To you is that which you wished for, and ten times it.'
