وَلَاAnd notيَدْخُلُwill enterبَنُوthe sons ofإِسْرَائِيلَIsraelالْأَرْضَthe landالْمُقَدَّسَةَholyحَتَّىٰuntilيَخْرُجُواthey go outمِنْهَاfrom itهَـٰؤُلَاءِtheseالْجَبَّارِينَgiants
And the children of Israel will not enter the holy land until these giants go out from it.
فَذَكَّرَSo he remindedنِعَمَof the favorsاللَّهِof Allahعَلَيْهِمْupon themوَمَاand whatفَضَّلَهُمْHe preferred themبِهِwith itعَلَىoverالْعَالَمِينَthe worlds
So he reminded them of Allah's favors upon them and what He preferred them with over the worlds,
حَتَّىٰso thatيَنْشَطُواthey may be energeticلِلْجِهَادِfor jihadفِيinسَبِيلِthe way ofاللَّهِAllah
so that they may be energetic for jihad in the way of Allah,
وَحَتَّىٰand so thatيُكْرَهُواthey may dislikeهَـٰذِهِthisالْحَيَاةَlifeالذَّلِيلَةَlowlyغَيْرَnotاللَّائِقَةِfitting
and so that they may dislike this lowly, unfitting life.
وَإِذْAnd whenقَالَsaidمُوسَىٰMosesلِقَوْمِهِۦto his people
And when Moses said to his people,
يَـٰقَوْمِO my peopleاذْكُرُواrememberنِعْمَتَthe favorاللَّهِof Allahعَلَيْكُمْupon you
'O my people, remember the favor of Allah upon you,
إِذْwhenجَعَلَHe madeفِيكُمْamong youأَنۢبِيَاءَprophetsوَجَعَلَكُمْand made youمُلُوكًاkings
when He made among you prophets and made you kings
وَأَتَىٰكُمand gave youمَّاwhatلَمْnotيُؤْتِHe had givenأَحَدًاanyoneمِّنَfromالْعَالَمِينَthe worlds
and gave you what He had not given anyone from the worlds.'
ثُمَّThenقَالَhe saidلَهُمْto them
Then he said to them,
إِنَّIndeedأَمَامَكُمُbefore you isالْأَرْضَthe landالْمُقَدَّسَةَholy
'Indeed, before you is the holy land,
فَلَيْسَso there is notلَكُمْfor youإِلَّاexceptأَنthatتَقُومُواyou standوَتَنْتَزِعُوهَاand seize itمِنْfromأَعْدَائِكُمْyour enemies
so there is nothing for you except that you stand and seize it from your enemies.'
وَإِنَّAnd indeedاللَّهَAllahإِذَاwhenكَتَبَHe has decreedلِأَحَدٍfor anyoneشَيْئًاa thingوَقَدَّرَهُand measured itلَهُfor him
And indeed, if Allah has decreed something for anyone and ordained it for him,
فَقَدْthen indeedهَانَit becomes easyعَلَيْهِfor himأَنْtoيَأْخُذَهُtake it
then it becomes easy for him to take it,
فَلَاso there is noرَادَّrepellerلِقَضَاءِof the decreeاللَّهِof Allah
and there is no repeller of Allah's decree.
يَـٰقَوْمِO my peopleادْخُلُواenterالْأَرْضَthe landالْمُقَدَّسَةَholyالَّتِيwhichكَتَبَhas decreedاللَّهُAllahلَكُمْfor you
'O my people, enter the holy land which Allah has decreed for you.'
