صَلَّىMay send blessingsاللَّهُAllahعَلَىuponإِبْرَاهِيمَAbrahamوَسَلَّمَ.and grant him peace.
May Allah send blessings upon Abraham and grant him peace.
وَصَلَّىAnd may send blessingsاللَّهُAllahعَلَىuponإِسْمَاعِيلَIshmaelوَسَلَّمَ.and grant him peace.
And may Allah send blessings upon Ishmael and grant him peace.
وَصَلَّىAnd may send blessingsاللَّهُAllahعَلَىuponمُحَمَّدٍMuhammadوَسَلَّمَ.and grant him peace.
And may Allah send blessings upon Muhammad and grant him peace.
١٦16- - بَيْتُHouseالْمَقْدِسِof the Holy
16 - The Holy House
وَكَانَAnd wasلِإِبْرَاهِيمَfor Abrahamزَوْجٌa wifeأُخْرَىanother
And Abraham had another wife
اسْمُهَاher nameسَارَةُ.was Sarah.
whose name was Sarah.
وَكَانَAnd wasلِإِبْرَاهِيمَfor Abrahamوَلَدٌa sonآخَرُanother
And Abraham had another son
مِنْfromسَارَةَ،Sarah,اسْمُهُhis nameإِسْحَاقُ.was Isaac.
from Sarah, whose name was Isaac.
وَسَكَنَAnd residedإِبْرَاهِيمُAbrahamفِيinالشَّامِthe Levant
And Abraham resided in the Levant
وَسَكَنَAnd residedإِسْحَاقُ.Isaac.
and Isaac resided there.
وَبَنَىAnd builtإِسْحَاقُIsaacبَيْتًاa houseلِلَّهِfor Allahفِيinالشَّامِthe Levant
And Isaac built a house for Allah in the Levant
كَمَاjust asبَنَىbuiltأَبُوهُhis fatherوَأَخُوهُand his brotherبَيْتًاa houseلِلَّهِfor Allahفِيinمَكَّةَ.Mecca.
just as his father and his brother built a house for Allah in Mecca.
وَهَذَاAnd thisالْمَسْجِدُmosqueالَّذِيwhichبَنَاهُbuilt itإِسْحَاقُIsaacفِيinالشَّامِthe Levant
And this mosque which Isaac built in the Levant
هُوَisبَيْتُthe Houseالْمَقْدِسِ.of the Holy.
is the Holy House.
وَهُوَAnd it isالْمَسْجِدُthe mosqueالْأَقْصَىthe farthestالَّذِيwhichبَارَكَblessedاللَّهُAllahحَوْلَهُaround it
And it is the farthest mosque, around which Allah has blessed,
وَبَارَكَand blessedاللَّهُAllahفِيinأَوْلَادِthe childrenإِسْحَاقَof Isaac
and Allah has blessed the children of Isaac,
كَمَاjust asبَارَكَHe blessedفِيinأَوْلَادِthe childrenإِسْمَاعِيلَ.of Ishmael.
just as He has blessed the children of Ishmael.
وَكَانَAnd wereفِيهِمْamong themأَنْبِيَاءُprophetsوَمُلُوكٌ.and kings.
And among them were prophets and kings.
وَكَانَAnd wasلِإِسْحَاقَfor Isaacوَلَدٌa sonاسْمُهُhis nameيَعْقُوبُwas Jacob
And Isaac had a son whose name was Jacob,
وَكَانَand he wasنَبِيًّا.a prophet.
and he was a prophet.
وَكَانَAnd hadلِيَعْقُوبَJacobاثْنَاtwelveعَشَرَtenوَلَدًاsons
And Jacob had twelve sons,
مِنْهُمْamong themيُوسُفُis Josephبْنُson ofيَعْقُوبَ.Jacob.
among them is Joseph, son of Jacob.
وَيُوسُفُAnd Josephلَهُhasقِصَّةٌa storyعَجِيبَةٌwonderfulفِيinالْقُرْآنِ.the Quran.
And Joseph has a wonderful story in the Quran.
وَإِلَيْكَAnd to you isهَذِهِthisالْقِصَّةُ.story.
