لِلْعَقِيدَةِFor the doctrineالصَّحِيحَةِthe correctفَكَانَso wasكِتَابُthe bookهَذَاthis

جَامِعًاcomprehensiveفِيinمَوْضُوعِهِits subjectمَانِعًاpreciseفِيinأُسْلُوبِهِits style
...comprehensive in its subject and precise in its style.
وَقَدْAnd indeedوَشَىadornedابْنُIbnالْقَيِّمِAl-Qayyimكِتَابَهُhis bookهَذَاthisبِبَعْضِwith someالطَّرَائِفِsubtleties
And indeed Ibn Al-Qayyim adorned this book with some subtleties
وَالْأَحْكَامِand rulingsالَّتِيthatلَاnotبُدَّavoidanceمِنْهَاof them
and rulings that are indispensable,
وَالَّتِيand through whichيُعَبِّرُhe expressesفِيinأَفْكَارِهِhis thoughtsوَآرَائِهِand opinionsفِيinمَجَالِthe fieldالْعَقِيدَةِof doctrine
and through which he expresses his thoughts and opinions in the field of doctrine.
كَمَاAsحَذَّرَhe warnedمِنْagainstأُمُورٍmattersكَثِيرَةٍmany
He also warned against many matters
كَانَتْthat wereالسَّبَبَthe causeفِيofضِيَاعِthe lossهَذِهِof thisالْعَقِيدَةِdoctrineمِنَfromالْقُلُوبِthe hearts
that were the cause of the loss of this doctrine from the hearts.
وَهُوَAnd heفِيinكُلِّallهَذَاthisيَلْتَزِمُadheresاِلْتِزَامًاan adherenceكَامِلًاcomplete
And in all this, he adheres completely
بِالْكِتَابِto the Bookوَالسُّنَّةِand the Sunnahوَبِمَاand to whatصَحَّis authenticعَنْfromالصَّحَابَةِthe Companionsوَالتَّابِعِينَand the Followers
to the Book and the Sunnah, and to what is authentic from the Companions and the Followers,
رِضْوَانُmay the pleasureاللَّهِof Allahعَلَيْهِمْbe upon themأَجْمَعِينَall together
may the pleasure of Allah be upon them all together.
وَإِنَّAnd indeedدَارَDarالْكُتُبِAl-KutubالْعِلْمِيَّةِAl-Ilmiyyah
And indeed Dar Al-Kutub Al-Ilmiyyah,
اِلْتِزَامًاin adherenceبِمَنْهَجِهَاto its methodologyالدَّؤُوبِdiligentفِيinنَشْرِpublishingكُتُبِbooksالتُّرَاثِof heritage
in adherence to its diligent methodology in publishing heritage books
وَالْعِنَايَةِand caringبِهَاfor themخِدْمَةًas a serviceلِهَذَاto thisالدِّينِreligionوَإِعْلَاءًand an elevationلِكَلِمَةِof the wordاللَّهِof Allahتَعَالَىthe Exalted
and caring for them, as a service to this religion and an elevation of the word of Allah, the Exalted,
تُقَدِّمُpresentsهَذَاthisالسِّفْرَbookالنَّفِيسَprecious
presents this precious book
بَعْدَafterأَنْthatعَمِلَتْit workedعَلَىonخِدْمَتِهِserving itوَالْعِنَايَةِand caringبِهِfor it
after having worked on serving and caring for it,
وَإِخْرَاجِهِand producing itبِالثَّوْبِin the garbالَّذِيthatيُسَهِّلُfacilitatesعَلَىforالْقَارِئِthe readerالْكَرِيمِnobleالِاسْتِفَادَةَthe benefitمِنْهُfrom it
and producing it in a garb that facilitates for the noble reader to benefit from it
وَمُسَهِّلًاand making easyذَلِكَthat
with ease.
نَرْجُوWe hopeأَنْthatنَكُونَwe areقَدْhavingوُفِّقْنَاsucceededفِيinعَمَلِنَاour workهَذَاthis
We hope that we have succeeded in this work of ours,
وَاللَّهُand Allahمِنْfromوَرَاءِbehindالْقَصْدِthe intent
and Allah is behind the intent.
وَالْحَمْدُAnd praiseلِلَّهِbe to Allahرَبِّthe Lordالْعَالَمِينَof the worlds
And praise be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds.
