And his saying: "Two words are light on the tongue, heavy in the scale, beloved to the Most Merciful: Glory be to Allah and praise Him, glory be to Allah the Most Great."

And his saying: "Indeed the man speaks a word from the pleasure of Allah, which he thinks will not reach anything; Allah writes for him with it His pleasure until the Day of Resurrection. And indeed the man speaks a word from the anger of Allah, which he thinks will not reach anything; Allah writes for him with it His anger until the Day of Resurrection."

And his saying: "Indeed, I said after you four words that if weighed with what you said since the day, I would weigh them: Glory be to Allah in number of His creation, glory be to Allah in weight of His throne, glory be to Allah for His pleasure, glory be to Allah for the ink of His words."

And if there is every name, verb, and letter that exists in the speech, then it is restricted and not absolute; it is not permissible to say for the term 'the truth' that it indicates with absoluteness and the abstraction from every indicator that accompanies it.

If it is said: "I want some indicators without some," it is said to him: "Mention the distinction between the indicator that is with it the reality and the indicator that is with it the metaphor, and you will not find a way to achieve a correct and rational division. What indicates this is that the people have differed in the general if specified, does its use in what remains remain the reality or a metaphor? Likewise, the term 'the command', if I mean by it recommendation, does it remain the reality or a metaphor? In that, there are two opinions for most of the sects: for the followers of Ahmad, there are two opinions, and for the followers of Al-Shafi'i, there are two opinions, and for the followers of Maliki, there are two opinions.

وَمِنَAnd fromالنَّاسِthe peopleمَنْsomeظَنَّthoughtأَنَّthatهَذَاthisالْخِلَافَdisputeيُطْرَدُis extendedفِيinالتَّخْصِيصِspecificationالمُتَّصِلِthe connected،, كَالصِّفَةِlike the descriptionوَالْشَّرْطِand the conditionوَالْغَايَةِand the limitوَالْبَدَلِand the substitute،, وَجَعَلَand madeيَحْكِيrelateفِيinذَلِكَthatأَقْوَالًاstatementsمِنْofيُفَصِّلُthose who distinguish,, كَمَاas: :فِيinكَلَامِthe speechطَائِفَةٍa groupمِنَofالْمُصَنِّفِينَthe authorsفِيinأُصُولِthe principlesالْفِقْهِof jurisprudence،, وَهَذَاand thisمِمَّاis whatلَمْnotيُعْرَفْknownأَنْthatأَحَدًاanyoneقَالَهُsaid.

And from the people, some thought that this dispute is extended in the connected specifications, like the description, the condition, the limit, and the substitute, and they began to relate in that statements from those who distinguish, as in the speech of a group of authors in the principles of jurisprudence, and this is something that it is not known that anyone has said.

فَجَعَلَSo he madeالْلَّفْظَthe termالْعَامَّthe generalالْمُقَيَّدَrestrictedفِيinالصِّفَاتِthe attributesوَالْغَايَاتِand the limitsوَالشُّرُوطِand the conditionsمَجَازًاa metaphor,, بَلْbutلَمَّاwhenأُطْلِقَsome declareبَعْضُsomeالْمُصَنِّفِينَauthorsأَنََّthatالْلَّفْظَthe termالْعَامَّthe generalإِذَاifخُصَّspecifiesيَصِيرُbecomesمَجَازًاa metaphor،, ظَنَّthoughtهَذَاthisالنَّاقِلُtransmitterأَنَّهُthat itعَلَىinالتَّخْصِيصِspecificationالمُتَّصِلِthe connected،, وَأُولَـٰئِكَand thoseلَمْnotيَكُنْbeفِيinاصْطِلَاحِهِمtheir terminologyعَامًّاgeneralمَخْصُوصًاspecificallyإِلَّاexceptإِذَاifخُصَّspecified

So he made the term 'the general' restricted in the attributes and limits and conditions as a metaphor, but when some authors declared that the general term, if specified, becomes a metaphor, this transmitter thought that it is regarding the connected specification, and those did not have in their terminology a general term except if it is specified.
