They worship, and this nation will remain with its hypocrites, as this hadith will come, if God wills.

فَهَؤُلَاءِSo theseأَهْلُare the people ofالشِّرْكِshirkالأَكْبَرِ.the greatest.

So these are the people of the greatest shirk.

And as for the slaves of money who hoarded it, and the slaves of men who obeyed them in the disobediences of God, those will be punished with a punishment less than the punishment of those polytheists either in the fields of resurrection, or in Hell, and whoever loves something other than God will be punished for it.

وَقَالَAnd He saidتَعَالَى:the Exalted:﴿يَـٰأَيُّهَاO youالَّذِينَwhoءَامَنُواhave believedأَنفِقُواspendمِمَّاfrom whatرَزَقْتَكُمْI have provided youمِمَّاbeforeقَبْلَthe dayأَنwhenيَأْتِيَcomesيَوْمٌa dayلَاthere is noبَيْعٌtradeفِيهِin itوَلَاand noخُلَّةٌfriendshipوَلَاand noشَفَاعَةٌintercessionوَالْكَافِرُونَand the disbelieversهُمْthey areالظَّالِمُونَthe wrongdoers.

And He said the Exalted: "O you who have believed, spend from what I have provided you before a day comes in which there is no trade in it and no friendship and no intercession, and the disbelievers are the wrongdoers."

فَالكُفْرُFor disbeliefالْمُطْلَقُabsoluteهُوَisالظُّلْمُthe injusticeالْمُطْلَقُ،the absolute,وَلِهَذَاand for this reasonلَاthere is noشَفِيعٌintercessorلِأَهْلِهِfor its peopleيَوْمَon the dayالْقِيَامَةِof resurrectionكَمَاasنَفَىHe negatedالشَّفَاعَةَthe intercessionفِيinهَذِهِthisالْآيَةِverseوَفِيand inقَوْلِهِ:His saying:﴿وَأَنذِرْهُمْAnd warn themيَوْمَof the dayالْأَرْفَةِof the gatheringإِنَّIndeedالْقُلُوبَthe heartsلَدَىare atالحَنَاجِرِthe throatsكَظِمِينَchokingمَاwhatلِلظَّالِمِينَthe wrongdoersمِنfromحَمِيمٍintercessionوَلَاand noشَفِيعٍintercessorيُطَاعُis obeyedيَعْلَمُHe knowsخَائِنَةَthe treacheryالأَعْيُنِof the eyesوَمَاand whatتُخْفِيhidesالصُّدُورُthe breasts.

For disbelief is the absolute injustice, and for this reason there is no intercessor for its people on the day of resurrection as He negated the intercession in this verse and in His saying: "And warn them of the day of gathering. Indeed, the hearts are at the throats, choking. The wrongdoers have no intercession, and no intercessor is obeyed. He knows the treachery of the eyes and what the breasts hide."

وَقَالَ:And He said:فَكَتَبُواSo they will be writtenفِيهَاin it.هُمْTheyوَالْغَاوُونَand the misledوَجُنُودُand the armies ofإِبْلِيسَIblisأَجْمَعُونَall together.قَالُواThey saidوَهُمْand theyفِيهَاin itيَخْتَصِمُونَwill argue.تَاللَّهِBy Allah,إِنَّindeedكُنَّاwe wereلَفِيinضَلالٍmisguidanceمُّبِينٍclear.إِذْWhenنُسَوِّيكُمwe equated youبِرَبِّwith the Lordالْعَالَمِينَof the worlds.وَمَاand whatأَضَلَّنَاmisled usإِلَّاexceptالْمُجْرِمُونَthe criminals.فَمَاSo whatلَنَاfor usمِنofشَفِعِينَintercessors.

And He said: "So they will be written in it, they and the misled and the armies of Iblis all together. They said, and they will argue in it: "By Allah, indeed we were in clear misguidance when we equated you with the Lord of the worlds. And what misled us except the criminals. So what is for us of intercessors?"

And there is no close friend. If only we had a turn so that we could be of the believers.

And His saying: "When we equate you, they did not mean that they made them equal to God in every aspect, for indeed, no one from the descendants of Adam has ever said this, nor was it reported from any people at all from the disbelievers that they said: 'Indeed, this world has two creators, similar.' Even the Magians who say about the two principles, light and darkness, agree that light is good and worthy to be worshipped and praised, and that darkness is evil and worthy to be blamed and cursed, and they differed on whether darkness is created or eternal? In every case, they did not make it like the light in every aspect.

وَكَذَٰلِكَAnd similarlyمُشْرِكُوthe polytheistsالْعَرَبِof the Arabsكَانُواwereمُتَّفِقِينَin agreementعَلَىthatأَرْبَابَهُمْtheir deitiesلَمْdid notتُشْرِكْassociate withاللَّهَGodفِيinخَلْقِthe creationالسَّمَاوَاتِof the heavensوَالْأَرْضِ،and the earth,بَلْbutكَانُواthey wereمُقَرِّينَacknowledgingبِأَنَّthatاللَّهَGodوَحْدَهُaloneخَلَقَcreatedالسَّمَاوَاتَthe heavensوَالْأَرْضَand the earthوَمَاand whateverبَيْنَهُمَا،is between them,كَمَاasأَخْبَرَHe informedاللَّهُGodعَنْهُمْabout themبِذَٰلِكَwith thatفِيinغَيْرِmore thanآيَةٍverseكَقَوْلِهِlike His sayingتَعَالَى:the Exalted:﴿وَلَئِن"And if indeedسَأَلْتَهُمyou ask themمَنْwhoخَلَقَcreatedالسَّمَاوَاتِthe heavensوَالْأَرْضَand the earthوَسَخَّرَand subjectedالشَّمْسَthe sunوَالْقَمَرَand the moon,لَيَقُولُنَّthey would surely sayاللَّهُGod.فَأَنَّىSo howيُؤْفَكُونَ؟are they turned away?

And similarly, the polytheists of the Arabs were in agreement that their deities did not associate with God in the creation of the heavens and the earth; rather, they acknowledged that God alone created the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them, as God informed about them with that in more than one verse, like His saying the Exalted: "And if indeed you ask them who created the heavens and the earth and subjected the sun and the moon, they would surely say, 'God.' So how are they turned away?"

اللَّهُGodيَبْسُطُspreadsالرِّزْقَthe provisionلِمَنfor whomيَشَاءُHe willsمِنْfromعِبَادِهِHis servantsوَيَقْدِرُand restricts itلَهُfor him.إِنَّIndeedاللَّهَGodبِكُلِّwith allشَيْءٍthingsعَلِيمٌis Knowing.وَلَئِنAnd if you ask themسَأَلْتَهُمwho sent downمِنfromالسَّمَاءِthe heavensمَاءًwaterفَأَحْيَاand brings to lifeبِهِwith itالْأَرْضَthe earthمِنْafterبَعْدِits deathمَوْتِهَاafter its death,لَيَقُولُنَّthey would surely sayاللَّهُGod.قُلِSay:الْحَمْدُPraiseلِلَّهِis for God,بَلْbutأَكْثَرُهُمْmost of themلَاdo notيَعْقِلُونَunderstand.

God spreads the provision for whom He wills from His servants and restricts it for him. Indeed, God is Knowing of all things. And if you ask them who sent down water from the heavens and brought to life the earth after its death, they would surely say, 'God.' Say: 'Praise is for God,' but most of them do not understand.
