Introduction of the publisher.
بِسْمِIn the nameاللَّهِof Allahالرَّحْمَـنِthe Most Graciousالرَّحِيمِthe Most Merciful
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
إِنَّIndeedالْحَمْدَall praiseلِلَّهِis due to AllahنَحْمَدُهُWe praise Himوَنَسْتَعِينُهُand we seek His helpوَنَسْتَغْفِرُهُand we seek His forgivenessوَنَعُوذُand we seek refugeبِاللَّهِwith Allahمِنْfromشُرُورِthe evilsأَنفُسِنَاof ourselvesوَمِنْand fromسَيِّئَاتِthe badأَعْمَالِنَاdeedsمَنwhomeverيَهْدِهِAllah guidesاللَّهُAllahفَلَاthere is noمُضِلٌّmisguidanceلَهُfor himوَمَنand whomeverيُضِلُّلْHe misguidesفَلَاthere is noهَادٍguideلَهُfor himوَأَشْهَدُAnd I bear witnessأَنَّthatلَاthere is noإِلَـٰهَgodإِلَّاexceptاللَّهَAllahوَحْدَهُaloneلَاthere is noشَرِيكَpartnerلَهُfor Himوَأَشْهَدُand I bear witnessأَنَّthatمُحَمَّدًاMuhammadعَبْدُهُis His servantوَرَسُولُهُand His messenger.
Indeed, all praise is due to Allah. We praise Him and we seek His help and forgiveness. We seek refuge with Allah from the evils of ourselves and from our bad deeds. Whomever Allah guides, there is no misguidance for him, and whomever He misguides, there is no guide for him. And I bear witness that there is no god except Allah alone, having no partner, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and messenger.
يَاOالَّذِينَthose whoءَامَنُواbelievedاتَّقُواfearاللَّهَAllahحَقَّas is dueتُقَائِهِto His pietyوَلَاand do notتَمُوتُنَّdieإِلَّاexceptوَأَنتُمwhile youمُّسْلِمُونَare Muslims.
O you who have believed, fear Allah as is due to Him, and do not die except while you are Muslims.
يَاOالنَّاسُpeopleاتَّقُواfearرَبَّكُمُyour Lordالَّذِيwhoخَلَقَكُمcreated youمِّنfromنَّفْسٍa single soulوَخَلَقَand createdمِنْهَاfrom itزَوْجَهَاits mateوَبَثَّand dispersedمِنْهُمَاfrom them bothرِجَالًاmany menكَثِيرًاand manyونِسَاءًwomenوَاتَّقُواand fearاللَّهَAllahالَّذِيwhomتَسَاءَلُونَyou askبِهِby Himوَالْأَرْحَامَand the wombsإِنَّIndeedاللَّهَAllahكَانَisعَلَيْكُمْupon youرَقِيبًاa Watcher.
O people, fear your Lord who created you from one soul and created from it its mate and dispersed from both of them many men and women. And fear Allah, by whom you ask one another, and the wombs (that bore you). Indeed, Allah is ever, over you, a Observer.
يَاOالَّذِينَthose whoءَامَنُواbelievedاتَّقُواfearاللَّهَAllahوَقُولُواand sayقَوْلًاa wordسَدِيدًاof appropriate conduct.يُصْلِحْHe will rectifyلَكُمْfor youأَعْمَالَكُمْyour deedsوَيَغْفِرand He will forgiveذُنُوبَكُمْyour sinsوَمَنand whoeverيُطِعِobeysاللَّهَAllahوَرَسُولَهُand His Messengerفَقَدْindeedفَازَhe has succeededفَوْزًاwith a greatعَظِيمًاvictory.
O you who have believed, fear Allah and speak words of appropriate conduct. He will rectify for you your deeds and forgive your sins. And whoever obeys Allah and His Messenger has certainly attained a great victory.
أَمَّاAs forبَعْدُafterwardفَإِنَّنَاwe certainlyنَحْمَدُpraiseاللَّهَAllahسُبْحَانَهُthe Exaltedعَلَىfor whatمَاHe has grantedيُسِّرَeaseلَنَاfor usمِنْfromتَحْقِيقٍthe realizationوَنَشْرٍand disseminationكُتُبٍof the booksالْعَقِيدَةِof beliefوَالتَّفْسِيرِand interpretationوَالْحَدِيثِand hadithوَالْفِقْهِand jurisprudenceوَمَاand whatيَنْفَعُbenefitsالْمُسْلِمَthe Muslimفِيinدِينِهِhis religionوَدُنْيَاهُand his worldly affairs.
As for afterwards, we certainly praise Allah, the Exalted, for what He has granted us from the realization and dissemination of the books of belief, interpretation, hadith, jurisprudence, and what benefits the Muslim in his religion and his worldly affairs.
مُتَابِعِينَWe are followingالتَّطَوُّرَthe developmentالطَّبَاعِيِّof printingوَمُضَافِينَand addingمَاwhatنَجِدُهُwe findمِنْofعِلْمٍknowledgeيَخْدُمُservesتِلْكَthoseالْكُتُبِbooksوَنَسْأَلُهُand we ask Himتَعَالَىthe Exaltedأَنْtoيُحْسِنَmake betterمَثُوبَتَنَاour rewardوَيَعْفُوand to pardonعَنْforخَطَأِنَاour mistakesوَوَهْمَنَاand our errorsوَمَاand whatقَدْmayنَكُونَwe have beenتَجَاوَزْنَاtoo farفِيهِin itالْحَقَّthe truthفِيinغَفْلَةٍnegligenceمِنَّاon our partمِنْout ofغَيْرِwithoutقَصْدٍintentionأَوْorتَعَمُّدٍpremeditation.
We are following the development of printing and adding what we find of knowledge that serves those books, and we ask Him, the Exalted, to make better our reward, and to pardon for our mistakes and errors and what we may have overshot in the truth in negligence on our part, without intention or premeditation.
وَكِتَابَAnd this bookالإِيمَانِof faithهَذَاthisسَبَقَprecededلَنَاfor usطَبْعَهُprintمُنْذُsinceسَنَةٍthe year١٣٨١هـ1381 AH==١٩٦١م1961 ADوَعَهِدْنَاand we entrustedإِلَىtoالشَّيْخِthe SheikhمُحَمَّدِMuhammadنَاصِرِNasser al-Dinالدِّينِthe religionالأَلْبَانِيِّal-Albaniبِتَخْرِيجِwith the extractionأَحَادِيثِهِof its hadith.
And this book of faith was printed for us since the year 1381 AH = 1961 AD, and we entrusted the Sheikh Muhammad Nasser al-Din al-Albani to extract its hadith.
وَقَدْAnd heقَامَhas doneبِبَعْضِsome ofذَلِكَthatمُكْتَفِيًاsatisfiedبِإِشَارَاتٍwith brief indicationsمُوجَزَةٍbrieflyجَزَاهُmay Allah reward himاللَّهُAllahخَيْرًاwell.غَيْرَNevertheless,أَنَّنَاweفِيinهَذِهِthisالطَّبْعَةِeditionزِدْنَاhave addedعَلَىtoتَخْرِيجَاتِهِhis extractionsالإِحَالَاتِthe referencesإِلَىtoالْمَصَادِرِthe sourcesالَّتِيwhichتَكَلَّمَتْdiscussedفِيهَاin itعَنْabout the Hadithفِيinكُتُبِهِhis booksالَّتِيthatعَمِلَهَاhe authoredبِطَلَبٍat the requestمِنْfromالْمَكْتَبِthe Islamic officeالإِسْلَامِيِّIslamicأَوْorغَيْرِهَاothers.
And he has done some of that, satisfied with brief indications, may Allah reward him well. Nevertheless, we have added to his extractions the references to the sources which discussed the hadith in his books that he authored at the request of the Islamic office or others.
كَمَاMoreover,زِدْتُI have addedفِيهِin itتَخْرِيجَاتٍextractionsتُفِيدُthat benefitالْقَارِئَthe readerالَّذِيwhoيُرِيدُwantsالتَّوَسُّعَto expandفِيinمَعْرِفَةِthe knowledgeالْحَدِيثِof hadithوَجَعَلْتُهَاand I made itبَيْنَbetweenحَاصِرَتَيْنِtwo brackets.
Moreover, I have added extractions in it that benefit the reader who wants to expand in the knowledge of hadith and I placed them between two brackets.
