And the abomination, as narrated by Ibn Mas'ud and Ibn Abbas: Indeed, in the prayer, there is a prohibition and a warning against the sins of God. Whoever's prayer does not prevent him from immoral acts and abominations will not increase him in anything from God except distance.

And His saying: "He does not increase except distance," if the obligatory acts left behind are greater than what he has done, it distances him from the greater obligation more than what brings him closer by doing the lesser obligation. This is as in the authentic narration from the Prophet ﷺ that he said: "That is the prayer of the hypocrite, that is the prayer of the hypocrite, that is the prayer of the hypocrite; he waits for the sun until it is between the two horns of Satan, then he stands and pecks four times, not remembering God in it except a little.

And indeed He, the Most High, said: "Indeed, the hypocrites deceive God, and He deceives them. And when they stand for prayer, they stand lazy, showing off to the people and remembering God only a little.

And in the 'Sunan' books from Ammar, from the Prophet ﷺ that he said: "Indeed, the servant may turn away from his prayer and nothing is written for him from it except half of it, except a third of it, until he said: "except a tenth of it.

And this, even if he is not commanded to repeat the prayer by most scholars, he is commanded to bring from the voluntary acts that compensate for the deficiency of his obligation, and it is well known that.

Whoever preserves on the prayers with its humility and outward actions, and fears God with the fear that he was commanded with, he will come with the obligations and will not commit any great sins. And whoever commits major sins, such as adultery, or theft, or drinking wine, or other than that, there is no doubt that what is in his heart of that fear, humility, and light will vanish. And if the foundation of belief remains in his heart, this is the faith that is taken away when committing major sins, as the Prophet ﷺ said: 'Do not commit adultery while you are a believer, and do not steal while you are a believer.' Indeed, the righteous, as described by God in His saying: 'Indeed, those who feared when touched by a slight temptation from the devil, they remember, then they become aware.

Of what the author mentioned, may God have mercy on him, as a stopped narration, he did well, and it has spread as an elevated narration, and it is not correct, and the apparent meaning of it is false, and the interpretation that the author mentioned is distant, as I explained in the weak hadiths.
