Many are explicit, so if it is possible that it contradicts, a verse would be more deserving of specifying the few general wording than refuting the many explicit texts.

The sixteenth: These are stopping in the words of generality. They do not say about its generality, while the predecessors say: The Messenger made us stop at the meanings of faith and explained it to us, and He taught us His intent from it by necessity. We also learned from His intent that as for one who was said to believe but did not speak with his tongue about faith with his ability to do so, nor prayed, nor fasted, nor loved God and His Messenger, nor feared God, but instead hated the Messenger and fought against him, that this person is not a believer. Just as we learned that the disbelievers from the polytheists and the people of the Book who knew that he was the Messenger of Allah and acted like that with him were regarded as disbelievers, not believers, this is known with us by necessity more than we know that the Qur'an is not entirely composed of words that are not Arabic. So, if the contradiction was possible, then giving precedence to that necessary knowledge is more deserving.

If they say: (Whoever knows that the Messenger disbelieved him knows the absence of belief from his heart). It is said to them: This is a contradiction, if they mean that they were doubting and uncertain. But if they meant the belief that did not accompany action, it is deficient like the nonexistent; this is correct. Then it is only established if it is established that faith is merely the affirmation of the heart and its knowledge, and that is only affirmed after the acceptance of these premises which include this; therefore, not the claim is established by the claim with the disbelief of its owner. Then it is said: Indeed, we have learned by necessity that the Jews and others knew that Muhammad is the Messenger of God, and He was judging them as disbelievers. Indeed, we learned from his religion by necessity that He disbelieves the person despite the affirmation of believing in his prophethood in the heart if he does not act with this belief, to the extent that he loves him and honors him and submits to that which he brought. And from what they oppose with is that it is said: This that you mentioned, if it was true, is more indicative of the saying of the Murji'a, rather than the saying of the Karamia than of your saying.
