وَلَاand notنَوْمٌsleepفِيهَاin itلِأَنَّbecauseالنَّوْمَthe sleepأَخٌis the brother ofالمَوْتِdeath
And there is no sleep in it because sleep is the brother of death.
وَفِيهِAnd in itأَيْضًاalsoأَنْthatأَهْلَthe people ofالْجَنَّةِParadiseلَاdo notيَبْزُقُونَspitوَلَاand notيَتَمَخَّطُونَblow their nosesوَلَاand notيَكُونُhaveلَهُمْfor themشَعْرٌhairالإِبْطِof the armpitوَالْعَانَةِand the pubic areaإِلَّاexceptالْحَاجِبَيْنِthe eyebrowsوَشَعْرِand hairالرَّأْسِof the headوَالْعَيْنِand the eyeثُمَّthenيَزْدَادُونَthey increaseكُلَّeveryيَوْمٍdayجَمَالًاbeautyوَحُسْنًاand excellenceكَمَاasيَزْدَادُونَthey increaseفِيinالدُّنْيَاthe worldهُوَit isانْتَهَىendedكَلَامٌthe speechدَقَائِقَof the minutesالأَخْبَارِthe newsعَنْaboutزَيْدٍZaydبِنْbinأَرْقَمَArqamرَضِيَpleasedاللَّهُGodتَعَالَىExaltedعَنْهُfrom him
And it is also mentioned that the people of Paradise do not spit nor blow their noses, and they do not have hair in their armpits and private parts except for the eyebrows and hair of the head and the eyes. Then they increase in beauty and excellence every day as they increase in the world. This is the end of the speech of the minutes of news about Zayd bin Arqam, may God be pleased with him.
قَالَHe said::جَاءَA man cameرَجُلٌa manمِنَfromأَهْلِthe people ofالْكِتَابِthe bookإِلَىtoالنَّبِيِّthe prophetاللَّهِGodفَقَالَand he said::يَاOأَبَاfather ofالْقَاسِمِAl-Qasimتَزْعُمُdo you claimأَنْthatأَهْلَthe people ofالْجَنَّةِParadiseيَأْكُلُونَeatوَيَشْرَبُونَand drink؟?
He said: A man came from the people of the Book to the Prophet of God and said: O father of Al-Qasim, do you claim that the people of Paradise eat and drink?
قَالَHe said::نَعَمْYesوَالَّذِيand by the one whoنَفْسُsoulمُحَمَّدٍMuhammadبِيَدِهِin his handإِنَّifأَحَدَهُمْone of themلِيُعْطَىis givenقُوَّةًstrengthمِئَةَone hundredرَجُلٍmenفِيinالْأَكْلِthe eatingوَالشُّرْبِand drinkingوَالْجِمَاعِand intimacy
He said: Yes, by the One in whose hand is the soul of Muhammad, if one of them is given the strength of a hundred men in eating, drinking, and intimacy.
قَالَHe said::فَإِنَّthen ifالَّذِيthe one whoيَأْكُلُeatsوَيَشْرَبُand drinksتَكُونُthere isلَهُfor himالْحَاجَةَthe needوَلَيْسَand there is notفِيinالْجَنَّةِParadiseأَذًىharm،,قَالَhe said::فَتَكُونُthen it would beحَاجَةًthe needأَحَدِهِمof one of themرَشْحًاsweatيَفِيضُflowsمِنْfromجُلُودِهِمtheir skinsكَالرَّشْحِlike the sweatالْمِسْكِof muskفَيُضْمِرُand it makes their stomachs shrinkبَطْنَهُhis stomach
He said: Then if the one who eats and drinks has a need, there is no harm in Paradise. He said: Then the need of one of them would be like the sweat that flows from their skins, like the sweat of musk, which makes their stomachs shrink.
رَوَاهُNarrated byأَحْمَدُAhmadوَالنَّسَائِيُّand Al-Nasa'iوَغَيْرُهُمَاand othersكَذَاso it isفِيinالتَّرْغِيبِthe encouragement
Narrated by Ahmad, Al-Nasa'i, and others. So it is in the encouragement.
التَّرْهِيبِthe warningمِنْfromذِكْرِmentioningجَهَنَّمَHellأَعَاذَنَاmay He protect usاللَّهُGodمِنْهَاfrom it
The warning from mentioning Hell, may God protect us from it.
عَنْAboutعُمَرَOmarبِنَbinالْخَطَّابِAl-KhattabرَضِيَpleasedاللَّهُGodعَنْهُfrom himقَالَhe saidجَاءَcameجِبْرِيلُGabrielعَلَيْهِupon himالسَّلَامُpeaceإِلَىtoالنَّبِيِّthe ProphetاللَّهِGodإِلَىtoأَنْthatقَالَhe said::فَقَالَand he saidرَسُولُthe Messengerاللَّهِof Godﷺ(peace be upon him)يَاOجِبْرِيلُGabrielصِفْ لِيdescribeالنَّارَthe fireوَانْعَتْand describeلِيto meجَهَنَّمَHellفَقَالَSo he saidجِبْرِيلُGabrielعَلَيْهِupon himالسَّلَامُpeaceذَكَرَmentioningأَعَاذَنَاmay God protect usمِنْهَاfrom it
About Omar bin Al-Khattab, may God be pleased with him, he said: Gabriel came to the Prophet of God and he said: The Messenger of God, peace be upon him, said: O Gabriel, describe to me the fire and describe Hell to me. So Gabriel said: May God protect us from it.
