The sixth sense is like hearing, sight, smell, taste, and touch.

And they affirm matters in their minds and say: Indeed, we see and witness that the dead do not feel pain as we feel it in the present, so likewise in the absent.

And about this, they denied the punishment of the grave and the glorification of the inanimate, because they say if it had a glorification, we would have heard it. And about this, they denied the scale, the sirat, and the exit of the people of faith from the fire, the ascension, and the vision of the Creator, exalted be His glory.

And we respond to them saying: Indeed, the minds are generated and subjected to incapacity, weakness, fatigue, and oblivion as he said, peace be upon him: "Think of the creation of God and do not think about the Creator; they do not need to think about God the Most High to obliterate their illusions and astonishment of their minds. For indeed, it is a house of sense for ailments; so for the understandables perceived, not for non-comprehensible.

Thus the Qadariyya and the Mu'tazila sought to grasp the essence of Lordship by their incapable minds until their minds became ill and sick, thus they lost knowledge. And the hypocrites encroached on this. God the Most High said regarding the hypocrites: "In their hearts is disease, and God increases them in disease, and for them is a painful punishment. And every mind, if it is sound, stops on what it cannot immediately grasp."
