Doubtful in it, and the exception in it is also obligatory for us, and our words are.

Indeed, the exception for faith occurred; so if the exception in it is nullified, it nullifies in all situations.

والَّذِيAnd whatرُوِيَwas narratedعَنْfromعَبْدِ اللهِAbdullahبْنِbinمَسْعُودٍMas'udرَضِيَmay Allah be pleasedاللهُAllahعَنْهُwith himمِنْofجَوَازِthe permissibilityالِاسْتِثْنَاءِof the exceptionفَهُوَis carriedمَحْمُولٌonفِيinالثَّبَاتِthe steadfastnessعَلَىonالإِيْمَانِfaithوَكَانَand that wasذَلِكَthatزَلَّةًa slipمِنْهُfrom himفَرَجَعَso he returnedعَنْهَاfrom itوَقَوْلُهُand his sayingفَمَنْSo whoeverقَالَsaysإِنَّاwe areمِنْofأَهْلِthe peopleالجَنَّةِthe paradiseفَقَدْthen indeedكَذَبَliedلَأَنَّهُbecauseإِذَاifقَالَhe saysأَنَاI amأَهْلٌthe peopleالجَنَّةِthe paradiseفَقَدْhe hasأَسْقَطَdismissedالْخَوْفَthe fearعَنْfromنَفْسِهِhimself

And what was narrated from Abdullah bin Mas'ud, may Allah be pleased with him, about the permissibility of the exception is carried in the steadfastness on faith, and that was a slip from him, so he returned from it. And his saying, "So whoever says, 'We are of the people of paradise,' then indeed he has lied because if he says 'I am of the people of paradise,' he has dismissed the fear from himself.

وَإِذَاAnd ifقَالَhe saysأَنَاI amأَهْلٌthe peopleالنَّارِthe fireفَقَدْthen indeedأَسْقَطَdismissedالرَّجَاءَthe hopeعَنْfromنَفْسِهِhimselfوَكِلاَهُمَاAnd bothلَاnotيَجُوزُpermissibleكَمَاasبَيَّنَاwe explained

And if he says, 'I am of the people of the fire,' then indeed he has dismissed hope from himself, and both are not permissible as we explained.

Then be aware that it is permissible to say in summary that the believers are in paradise without a doubt because in the entirety of the believers are the prophets, messengers, and saints, and it is permissible to say that the disbelievers are in the fire without a doubt.

And if I have referred to one in particular, then if the referenced is of the prophets and the messengers, or from those who have witnessed for them with paradise, and they are the companions of the Prophet, peace be upon him, and they are ten promised, the evidence for this is his saying, the Most High, that He has indeed pleased the believers, the verse, for indeed it is permissible to say that this is in paradise without a doubt, so if you doubt in it, then indeed, you have disbelieved and lied against Allah, the Most High. If that referred to him is from the disbelievers, then he has indeed lied.
