The eye cannot see itself, even if it is not of the kind of visible things.

And why can’t He show Himself to us even if He is not of the kind of visible things?

And it is said to them that it is impossible for sight to see that which is in the eye. They are told, 'The verse negates that sight can perceive Him, but it does not negate that the seeing ones can see Him.' And God, the Exalted and Majestic, said: 'No sight can grasp Him,' so this does not indicate that the seeing ones do not see Him according to the apparent meaning of the verse.

The discourse on the Quran being the speech of God, uncreated.

If a questioner asks for the proof that the Quran is the speech of God, uncreated, it is said to him that the proof of that is His saying, the Exalted and Majestic: 'And of His signs is that the heavens and the earth stand by His command.'

So when He commanded them both to stand, they both stood without falling. Their standing was by His command.

Is not He the creator and the command? For creation, all that He created is included in it. Because the speech, if its wording is general, then its reality is that it is general; and it is not permissible for us to remove the speech from its reality without a proof.
