And it is said to them: Indeed, the Children of Israel asked for a visible vision of Allah Almighty to deny the prophethood of Moses and leave faith in him, until He shows them Allah, except that they said, 'We will not believe in you until we see Allah visibly.'

So when they asked him for the vision in a way of leaving the faith in Moses, peace be upon him, Allah Himself considered their question too great without it being impossible for Him, as He considered too great the question of the people of the Book, that He descend upon them a book from the sky without that being impossible, but because they refused to believe in the Prophet of Allah until He sends down from the sky a book (as another proof).

And among what indicates the vision of Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, with the eyes, is what was narrated by groups from varied sources about the Messenger of Allah that he said, 'You will see your Lord as you see the moon on the night of the full moon; you will not be troubled in its vision.'

And the vision, if it is mentioned generally and presented by the vision of the eye, its meaning is nothing but the vision of the eye.

And the vision has been narrated from the Messenger of Allah through various different ways, narrated by more narrators than the many reports of stoning, and from several who narrated that the Prophet, peace be upon him, said, 'There is no will for the inheritor,' and from several narrators of wiping over the two socks, and from several narrators of the saying of the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, 'There is no marriage for the woman.'
