I know from Moses, peace be upon him, what is necessary for him to know, and this is an exit from the religion of Muslims;

(And another proof indicating the permissibility of seeing God with the eyesight is God's saying to Moses: "For if it remains fixed in its place, then you will see Me." So, when God, Glorified and Exalted, was able to make the mountain stable, He was able to do the action which if He did, Moses would see Him. Thus, it indicated that God, the Exalted, is capable of showing Himself to His servants and it is permissible to see Him. * If he said * why did you not say that God's saying hence if it remains fixed in its place, then you will see Me indicates the distance of the vision, it would be said to him: If God, Mighty and Exalted, wanted to distance the vision, He would have connected the speech with what is impossible to occur and He would not have connected it with what is permissible to happen. So when He connected it with the stability of the mountain, which is an action capable of God, it indicated that it is permissible to see God, the Mighty and Exalted. Do you not see that Al-Khansaa when she wanted to distance her peace from those who were at war with her brother, she connected the speech with the impossible and said: * And I will not make peace with a people I was at war with until white turns back to the darkness of the ink. * And indeed, Allah, Mighty and Exalted, only addressed the Arabs in their language and we do not find it conceptually in her speech and reasonably in her address. So when he connected the vision with a capable command, it is known that seeing God with the eyesight is permissible.
