يَخْلُقُHe createsكُلَّالَtirednessوَلَاand notتَعَبَfatigueوَلَاand notمَسَّهُit touchesلَغُوبَexhaustionوَلَاand notنَصَبَtirednessخَلْقٌCreation
He creates without tiredness, without fatigue, without exhaustion, and without fatigue in creation.
الأَشْيَاءَthe thingsبِقُدْرَتِهِby His powerوَدَبَّرَهَاand managed themبِمَشِيئَتِهِby His willوَقَهَرَهَاand subdued themبِجَبَرُوتِهِby His mightوَذَلَّلَهَاand humbled themبِعِزَّتِهِby His glory
He creates the things by His power, manages them by His will, subdues them by His might, and humbles them by His glory.
فَذَلَّSo humbledلِعَظَمَتِهِto His greatnessالْمُنْكَرُونَthe deniersوَاسْتَكَنَand submittedلِعَزِّto the mightرَبُّوبِيَتِهِof His lordshipالْمُتَكَلِّمُونَthe speakers
So, the deniers were humbled to His greatness, and the speakers submitted to the might of His lordship.
وَانْقَطَعَAnd it was cut offدُونَbelowالرُّسُوخِthe steadfastnessفِيinعِلْمِهِHis knowledgeالْعَالَمُونَthe scholarsوَذَلَّتand were humbledالرُّقَبَthe necksوَحَارَتْand wanderedفِيinمَلَكُوتِهِHis dominion
And it was cut off below the steadfastness in His knowledge; the scholars were humbled and wandered in His dominion.
فَطِنَInsightfulذَوِيof those who haveالأَلْبَابِintellectsوَقَامَتْand stoodبِحِكْمَتِهِwith His wisdomالسَّمَاوَاتِthe heavensالسَّبْعِthe sevenوَاسْتَقَرَّتْand settledالْأَرْضَthe earthبِالْمِهَادِwith the cradleوَثَبَّتَتْand firmedالْجِبَالَthe mountainsالرَّوَاسِthe highlands
The insightful ones with intellect stood with His wisdom, the seven heavens were formed, and the earth settled with the cradle, and the mountains were firmed.
وَجَرَتْAnd flowedالرِّيَاحُthe windsالْوَاقِعَthe naturalوَسَارَتْand traveledفِيinجَوِّthe atmosphereالسَّمَاءِthe skyالسُّحُبِthe cloudsوَقَامَتْand stoodعَلَىuponحُدُودِهَاits bordersالْبِحَارِthe seasوَهُوَand He isأَهْلُهَاits peopleالْواحِدُthe oneالْقَهَّارُthe overpowering
The winds flowed naturally, and the clouds traveled in the atmosphere of the sky, and the seas stood upon their borders, and He is the one, the overpowering.
فَنَحْمَدُهُSo we praise HimكَمَاasحَمَدَpraisedنَفْسَهُHimselfوَكَمَاand asهُوَHe isوَمُسْتَحِقُّهُworthy of seekingوَكَمَاand asحَمَدَهُpraise Himالْحَامِدُونَthe praisersمِنْfromجَمِيعِallخَلْقِهِHis creation
So we praise Him as He praised Himself and as He is worthy of seeking, and as the praisers have praised Him from all of His creation.
وَنَسْتَعِينُهُAnd we seek His helpاِسْتِعَانَةًwith seeking helpمِنْfromفَوَّضَwho entrustedأَمْرَهُhis affairإِلَيْهِto Himوَأَقَرَّand acknowledgedأَنَّهُthat heلَاnotمَنْجًىrescueوَلَاnorمَلْجَأًshelterمِنْهُfrom Himإِلَّاexceptإِلَيْهِto Him
And we seek His help, with seeking help from whoever entrusted His affairs to Him, and acknowledged that there is no rescue and shelter from Him except to Him.
وَنَسْتَغْفِرُهُAnd we seek His forgivenessاِسْتِغْفَارًاwith seeking forgivenessمُقِرٌّacknowledgingبِذَنْبِهِfor his sinمُعْتَرِفٌadmittingبِخَطَئِيَّتِهِhis faultوَنَشْهَدُAnd we bear witnessأَنَّthatلَاnotإِلَٰهَa godإِلَّاexceptاللَّهَAllahوَحْدَهُaloneلَاnotشَرِيكٌa partnerلَهُfor Him
And we seek His forgiveness, acknowledging our sins and admitting our faults. And we bear witness that there is no god except Allah alone, with no partner for Him.
إِقْرَارًاAcknowledgmentبِوَحْدَانِيَّتِهِof His onenessوَإِخْلَاصًاand sincerityلِرُبُوبِيَّتِهِto His lordshipوَأَنَّهُand that Heالْعَلِيمُknowledgeableبِمَاof whatتُبْطِنُهُis concealedالْضَّمَائِرُthe heartsوَتَنْطَوِيand encompassesعَلَيْهِon itالسَّرَائِرُthe hidden mattersوَمَاand whatتُخْفِيهُit concealsالنُّفُوسُthe soulsوَمَاand whatتَجُنُّit hidesالْبِحَارُthe seasوَمَاand whatتَوَارِيit concealsالْأَسْرَارُthe secretsوَمَاand whatتَفِيضُit flourishesالأَرْحَامُthe wombsوَمَاand whatتَزْدَادُit increasesوَكُلُّand everyشَيْءٍthingعِندَهُwith Himبِمِقْدَارٍwith measureلَاnotتُوَارَىis concealedعَنْهُfrom Himكَلِمَةًa wordوَلَاnorتَغِيبُbe absentعَنْهُfrom Himغَايَةًan end
Acknowledging His oneness and sincerity to His lordship, and that He is knowledgeable of what the hearts conceal, what the hidden matters encompass, what the souls conceal, what the seas hide, what secrets conceal, what the wombs flourish, what increases, and every thing with Him is with measure; not a word is concealed from Him, nor does an end be absent from Him.
