الرُّوحُthe soulإِلَىtoالجَسَدِthe bodyفِيinقَبْرِهِhis graveحَقٌّ،is right,وَضَغْطَةٌand the pressureالْقَبْرِof the graveوَعَذَابُهُand its tormentبِهِin itحَقٌّis rightكَائِنٌexistsلِلْكَفَارِfor the disbelieversكُلَّهُمْall of themوَلِبَعْضِand for someعُصَاةٍsinnersالْمُؤْمِنِينَof the believersحَقٌّis rightجَائِزٌ)(permissible)الْمُنْكَرُ:The denier:اسْمٌnameالْمَفْعُولِ،of the passive voice,وَالْنَّكِيرُand the denialفَعِيلٌis a formبِمَعْنَىmeaningالْمَفْعُولِ،of the passive voice,وَإِنَّمَاand it is onlyسُمِّيَاthey are namedبِهَذَيْنِwith these twoالْاسْمَيْنِnamesلِأَنَّbecauseالْمَيِّتَthe deceasedلَمْdid notيَعْرِفْهَاknow itوَلَمْand did notيَرَseeصُورَتَهَا،its image,وَفِيand inالصَّحَاحِthe authentic booksمُنْكَرٌdenierوَنَّكِيرُand denierإِسْمٌthe namesمَلَكَيْنِ؛of angels;ضَغْطٌpressureيَضْغَطُpressesضَغْطًاpressureزَحَمَهُrushes himإِلَىtoحَائِطٍa wallوَنَحْوِهِand similarوَمِنْهُand henceضَغْطَةٌthe pressureالْقَبْرِof the graveبِالتُّرْكِيِّin Turkishقَبْرٌgraveصَيْقُمَقٌ،is a small grave,وَفِيand inالْمَصَابِيحِthe lamps/booksعَنْaboutأَبِيAbuهُرَيْرَةَHurairaرَضِيَmay Allah be pleasedاللَّهُAllahعَنْهُwith himقَالَhe saidقَالَsaidرَسُولُthe Messengerاللَّهِ:of Allah:إِذَاWhenقَبْرُthe graveالْمَيِّتِthe deceasedأَتَاهُcomes to himمَلَكَانِtwo angelsأَزْرَقَانِblueأَسْوَدَانِblackيُقَالُit is saidلِأَحَدِهِمَاto one of themالْمُنْكَرُthe denierوَلِلْآخَرِand to the otherالنَّكِيرُthe denierفَيَقُولَانِ لَهُand they say to him,مَاwhatكُنتَwere youتَقُولُsayingفِيaboutهَذَاthisالرَّجُلَ؟man?فَإنْIfكَانَwasمُؤْمِنًاa believerفَيَقُولُ:he says:هُوَHe isعَبْدٌa servantاللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِof Allah and His MessengerأَشْهَدُI bear witnessأَنَّthatلَاthere is noإِلَهَdeityإِلَّاbutاللَّهَAllahوَأَشْهَدُand I bear witnessأَنَّthatمُحَمَّدًاMuhammadرَسُولَ اللَّهِthe Messenger of Allahفَيَقُولَانِand they say,قَدْwe haveكُنَّاwe knewنَعْلَمُwe knowأَنَّكَthat youتَقُولُsayهَذَا ثُمَّthis thenيُفْتَحُopensلَهُfor himفِيinقَبْرِهِhis graveسَبْعُونَseventyذِرَاعًاarmsفِيinسَبْعِينَseventyثُمَّthenيُنَوَّرُilluminatedلَهُfor himفِيِهِin itثُمَّthenيُقَالُ لَهُhe is told,نَمْsleepفَيَقُولُ:he says:ارْجِعْreturnإِلَىtoأَهْلِيmy familyفَأَخْبِرْهُمْand tell them,فَيَقُولَانِ:and they say:نَمْsleepكُنُومَةًlike the sleepالْعَرُوسِof a brideالَّذِيthe one whoلَاnotيُوقِظُهُawakenedإِلَّاexceptمَنْ أَحَبَّthe one he lovesأَهْلَهُof his familyإِلَيْهِto himحَتَّىuntilيَبْعَثَهُhe is resurrectedاللَّهُAllah

The soul to the body in his grave is right, and the pressure of the grave and its torment is a right that exists for all disbelievers and for some sinners among the believers, permissible.

وَإِنْAnd ifكَانَit wasمُنَافِقًاa hypocriteأَوْorكَافِرًاa disbelieverقَالَhe saidسَمِعْتُI heardالنَّاسَthe peopleيَقُولُونَsayingقَوْلًاa statementفَقُلْتُso I saidمَثَلَهُlike itلَاnoيَنْبَغِيshouldلَهُfor himأَنْtoيَعْتَقِدَbelieveفِيinالْحَالِthe stateمَاwhatهُوَisالصَّوَابُrightعِندَwithاللَّهِAllahتَعَالَىthe Exalted

And if he was a hypocrite or a disbeliever, he would say, 'I heard the people saying something, so I said like it.' It is not appropriate for him to believe in what is right with Allah Almighty at that time.
