The saying of those who assert that he is punished is the saying of the Mu'tazila and the Khawarij.

And the third is the saying of those who do not assert either by pardon or punishment, which is the saying of most of the chosen imams.

And we do not say that any believer will remain eternally in it, namely in the fire of Hell.

Even if he was openly sinful after he exits from the world as a believer.

Contrary to the Mu'tazila, for indeed they asserted with eternity of the open sinner like the disbeliever.

And we do not say that our good deeds are accepted and our bad deeds are forgiven like the saying of the Murji’a, but we say whoever performs a good deed with all its conditions of intention, sincerity, and others from the obligations, free from the defects that spoil such as showing off, reputation, and arrogance, and did not invalidate it with disbelief, bad morals, or apostasy. God Almighty said: "And whoever disbelieves in faith has nullified his actions." As for committing the major sins, they do not spoil the good deeds, nor do they invalidate their rewards with the people of the Sunnah and the community.

God Almighty said: "God has promised with all His attributes, and no one is able to worship God Most High rightfully as He is worthy of it, but he worships Him by His command as He commanded him in His Book."
