The pleasure of God be upon them all.

And the scorpions are considered for decorum, but it is said, 'The Creator of all things.'

This is between us and the rejecters; there is disagreement in it. They disown the companions of God except for Ali, may peace be upon him.

And this is also close to the doctrine of the rejecters; indeed, we have clarified its corruption.

And he did not return this doubt in their matter, but he took the safest of ways; and if the safest of them is that we restrain our tongues from them as God restrained our swords from that sedition.

قَالَHe saidأَبوAbuحَنِيفَةُHanifaرَضِيَ اللَّـهُmay God be pleasedعَنْهُwith him( الفِقْهُ(the jurisprudenceفِيinالدِّينِthe religionأَفْضَلُis betterمِنْthanالْفِقْهِthe jurisprudenceفِيinالْعِلْمِthe science

Abu Hanifa, may God be pleased with him, said: 'The jurisprudence in religion is better than the jurisprudence in science.'

لِأَنَّBecauseالْفِقْهُthe jurisprudenceفِيinالدِّينِthe religionأَصْلٌis the foundationوَالْفِقْهُand jurisprudenceفِيinالْعِلْمِthe scienceفَرْعٌis a branchوَفَرْضٌand the virtueالأَصْلُthe foundationعَلَىoverالْفَرْعِthe branch

Because the jurisprudence in religion is the foundation, and the jurisprudence in science is a branch, and the virtue of the foundation over the branch is known.

قَالَHe saidاللَّهُGodتَعَالَىthe Most HighإِنَّIndeedالدِّينُthe religionعِندَwithاللَّهِGodالإِسْلَامُthe Islamوَلَاand notشَكٌّa doubtأَنْthatالْعَبْدُthe servantأَوَّلًاfirstيَلْزَمُهُis obligatedالإِسْلَامُthe Islamلِقَوْلِهِfor His sayingتَعَالَىthe Most Highوَمَاand whatخَلَقْتُI createdالْجِنَّthe jinnوَالْإِنْسَand the mankindإِلَّاexceptلِيَعْبُدُونِto worship Meأَيْthatلِيُوَحِّدُونِto unite Me

God, the Most High, said: 'Indeed, the religion with God is Islam.' And there is no doubt that the servant is obligated first to be a Muslim for His saying, the Most High: 'And I created the jinn and mankind except to worship Me, that is, to unite Me.'

ثُمَّThenالْعِلْمُthe knowledgeيُبْنَىis builtعَلَىuponالدِّينِthe religionفَصَارَthen becomesالدِّينُthe religionهُوَisالتَّوْحِيدُthe unity of Godوَالْعِلْمُand the knowledgeهُوَisالْدِّيَانَةُthe creedيَعْنِيmeansالْفِقْهُthe jurisprudenceفِيinالدِّينِthe religionأَفْضَلُis betterمِنْthanالْفِقْهِthe jurisprudenceفِيinالعِلْمِthe science

Then knowledge is built upon religion, and thus the religion is the unity of God, and knowledge is the creed, which means that the jurisprudence in religion is better than the jurisprudence in science.
