The forbidden and the touch, the forbidden and other actions that are prohibited.

And as for the love of a man for his wife or his concubine, it is a love that takes him out of justice to the extent that he does for her what is not permissible and leaves what is obligatory, as is often the case until he wrongs his son from his old wife for the sake of his new love, and even does from her blameworthy demands what harms him in his religion and his worldly affairs, like giving her an inheritance she does not deserve or giving her family rights and wealth that exceeds the limits of Allah or overspending on her or allowing her to engage in forbidden matters that harm him in his religion and worldly affairs.

And this is in the love that is permitted for him to have sexual relations with her. So how about the love for foreign women and men from the worlds? In it, there is corruption that cannot be counted except by the Lord of the servants.

And it is one of the diseases that corrupt the religion of its owner and his honor. Then it may corrupt his mind and then his body.

And whoever is tested with love and abstains and is patient, then indeed, he is rewarded for his piety for Allah.

And it has been narrated in the hadith that whoever loves and abstains and conceals, then dies, is a martyr. And it is well known from the narration of Yahya the cutter about Mujahid about the son of Abbas.

But if he abstains from the prohibited things in regard to his gaze, speech, and action, and conceals that, then he should not speak about it until there should be no forbidden speech in that. As for a complaint to the creature or revelation of obscenity or a kind of request for the beloved, he should be patient in the obedience of Allah and against disobedience to Him and on what is in his heart of the pain of love.

كَمَاLikeيَصْبِرُthe afflicted person is patient.الْمُصَابُthe one afflictedعَنfromأَلَمِthe pain ofالْمُصِيبَةِthe calamity.فَإِنَّIndeed.هَذَاthisيَكُونُisمِمَّنamong those whoاتَّقَىfearاللَّهَAllah.وَصَبَرَand is patient.وَمَنْAnd whoeverيَتَّقِfearsوَصَبَرَand is patient.فَإِنَّThen indeedاللَّهَAllahلَاwill notيُضِيعَwasteأَجْرَthe reward ofالْمُحْسِنِينَthe doers of good.

Like the afflicted person is patient from the pain of the calamity. Indeed, this is among those who fear Allah and is patient. And whoever fears and is patient, then indeed Allah will not waste the reward of the doers of good.

يُوسُفَYusufوَهَكَذَاand likewiseمَرَضُthe diseaseالْحَسَدِof envy.وَغَيْرُهُand others.مِنْfromأَمْرَاضِthe diseasesالنُّفُوسِof the souls.

Yusuf, and likewise the disease of envy and others from the diseases of the souls.

وَإِذَاAnd ifكَانَتْit isالنَّفْسُthe soulتَطْلُبُseeksمَاwhatيُبْغِضُهُdispleasesاللَّهُAllahفَيَنْهَاهَاthen it forbids.خَشْيَةًOut of fearمِنَofاللَّهِAllah.كَانَThen it isمِمَّنamong those whoدَخَلَenteredفِيinقَوْلِهِHis sayingالنَّازِعَاتِthe ones that tear.

And if the soul seeks what displeases Allah, then it forbids itself out of fear of Allah. Then it is among those who entered in His saying, 'the ones that tear.'

وَأَمَّاAnd as forمَنْwhoeverخَافَfearsمَقَامَthe positionرَبِّهِof his Lord.وَنَهَىand forbidsالنَّفْسَthe soulعَنfromالْهَوَىthe desire.فَإِنَّthen indeedالْجَنَّةَthe Paradiseهِيَisالْمَأْوَىthe abode.

And as for whoever fears the position of his Lord and forbids the soul from the desire, then indeed the Paradise is the abode.

فَالنَّفْسُSo when the soulإِذَاwhenأَحَبَّتْlovesشَيْئًاsomethingسَعَتْit strivesفِيto obtain itحُصُولِهِits attainment.بِمَاwith whatيُمكِنُis possibleحَتَّىuntilتَسْعَىit pursuesفِيinأُمُورٍmattersكَثِيرَةٍmany.تَكُونُIt becomesكُلُّهَاall of themمَقَامَاتٍpositionsلِتِلْكَfor thatالْغَايَةِgoal.

So when the soul loves something, it strives to obtain it with what is possible until it pursues many matters, all of which are positions for that goal.

فَمَنSo whoeverأَحَبَّlovesمَحَبَّةًa loveمَذْمُومَةًblameworthyأَوorأَبْغَضَhatesبُغْضًa hatredمَذْمُومٍblameworthyوَفَعَلَand doesذَلِكَthat.كَانَhe isآثِمًاsinful.مِثْلَLikeأَنْthatيُبْغِضَto hateشَخْصًاa personلِحَسَدِهِfor his envyلَهُto him.فَيُؤْذِيSo he harmsمَنhe whoلَهُto himبِهِwith it.تَعَلُّقٌattachment.إِمَّاEitherبِمَنْعِby denyingحُقُوقِهِhis rightsأَوorبِعُدْوَانٍby aggressionعَلَيْهِمagainst them.

So whoever loves a blameworthy love or hates a blameworthy hatred and does that, is sinful. Like hating a person due to envy for him, so he harms he who has attachment to him, either by denying his rights or by aggression against them.
