بِسْمِIn the nameاللَّـهِof Allahالرَّحْمَـٰنِthe Most Graciousالرَّحِيمِthe Most MercifulوَلَاAnd notحَوْلَa changeوَلَاand notقُوَّةٍpowerإِلَّاexceptبِاللَّـهِby Allahالْعَلِيِّthe Mighty
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. And there is no power nor strength except through Allah, the Mighty.
مَاWhatتَقُولُdo you sayالسَّادَةُthe mastersالْعُلَمَاءِof scholarsأَئِمَّةٌthe Imamsالدَّيْرِof the monasteryرَضِيَmay Allah be pleasedاللَّـهُwith Allahعَنْهُمْabout themأَجْمَعِينَall together
What do the masters of the scholars, the Imams of the monastery, may Allah be pleased with them all, say?
فِيInالرَّحَلِthe journey
In the journey.
أَنْتِYou areصَبْلِيَّةًa sourceوَاعْلَمِيand knowأَنَّهَاthat itأَزisشَمَرْتُI seizedبِهَاwith itأَفَسَرْتِyou explainedدُنْيَاهَhis worldوَandآخِرَتَهُhis hereafter
You are a source and know that it seized him, and you explained his world and his hereafter.
وَقَدْAnd indeedاجْتَهَدَhe stroveفِيinدَفْعِهَاpushing it awayعَنْfromنَفْسِهِhimselfبِكُلِّby everyطَرِيقٍwayفَمَاso whatيَزْدَادُhe increasesإِلَّاexceptتَوَقُّكِهِhis weariness
And indeed he strove to push it away from himself by every means, but what he increases is only his weariness.
وَشِدَّةٌand severityفَمَاso whatالْحِيلَةُis the trickفِيinدَفْعِهَاpushing it awayوَمَاand whatالطَّرِيقُis the pathإِلَّاexceptكَشَهَنَاfor us
And severity, so what is the trick in pushing it away and what is the path except for us?
فَرَحْمَةُSo may (Allah) have mercyاللَّـهِAllahعَلَىon whomأَعَانَhelpsمُبْتَلًىthe afflicted
So may Allah have mercy on the one who helps the afflicted.
وَاللَّـهِAnd Allahفِيinعَوْنِهِhelpingالْعَبْدِthe servantمَاas long asكَارِيٍّhe is concernedعَوْزٍwith the needsأَخِيرَةٍin the endأَفْتُونَاgive us a fatwaمَأْجُورٌmay Allah reward you
And Allah is helping the servant as long as he is concerned with the needs. In the end, give us a fatwa, may Allah reward you.
الشَّيْخُThe Sheikhالْإِمَامُthe Imamالْعَالِمُthe scholarشَيْخُthe Sheikhالإِسْلَامِof Islamمَعْنَىwhat it means
The Sheikh, the Imam, the Scholar, the Sheikh of Islam, what it means.
تَجَابُresponding
Responding.
الْفَرْقُThe differenceشَمْسٌis the sunالدَّيْرَof the monasteryبُوofعَبْدِAbdاللَّـهِAllahمُحَمَّدٍMuhammadبَرِيَالَthe son of BaryalبَكْرٍBakarبْنِthe son ofأَبُوتِAbutإِمَامٍthe Imamالْمَدْرَسِيَّةِof the schoolالْجَوْزِيَّةِof Al-Jawziyyahبِدِمَشْقَin DamascusالْكُرَوِيِّAl-Kurwi
The difference is the sun of the monastery, by Abd Allah Muhammad, the son of Baryal, the son of Bakar, the Imam of Al-Jawziyyah School in Damascus, Al-Kurwi.
رَضِيَMay Allah be pleasedاللَّـهُwith Allahعَنْهُabout him
May Allah be pleased with him.
الْحَمْدُPraise be to Allahلِلَّـهِthe Lordرَبِّof the worlds
Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds.
ثَبَتَIt is affirmedفِيinمُحَمَّدٍMuhammadالْبُخَارِيِّ Al-Bukhariمِنْfromحَدِيثٍthe hadithإِلَىtoتُقْدِيرِهِits estimationعَنْaboutالنَّبِيِّthe Prophetصَلَّىpeaceاللَّـهُbe upon Allahعَلَيْهِupon himوَسَلَّمَand bless.
It is affirmed in Al-Bukhari from the hadith to its estimation about the Prophet, may the peace of Allah be upon him and bless.
أَنَّهُThat heقَالَsaidمَاwhatأَنزَلَhas revealedاللَّـهُAllahدَائِمًاeverلَاnotأَنزَلْتُhave I revealedلَهُfor itشِفَاءًhealing.
He said: "What Allah has revealed does not become a remedy for it."
وَفِيAnd inصَحِيحٍthe authenticهَذَاthisحَدِيثٍhadithجَابِرٍJabirبِنِthe son ofعَبْدِAbdاللَّـهِAllahقَالَsaidقَالَsaidرَسُولُthe Messengerاللَّـهِof Allahصَلَّىpeaceاللَّـهُbe upon Allahعَلَيْهِupon himوَسَلَّمَand bless.
And in this authentic hadith, Jabir, the son of Abd Allah, said: The Messenger of Allah said, may the peace of Allah be upon him and bless.
لِكُلِّFor everyدَاءٍdiseaseدَوَاءٌthere is a remedy.مَاWhatذَاisالْحَبِيبُthe belovedدَوَاءٌremedyالرَّابِرُthe conflictأَبَاAbuذَرٍّDharr.
For every disease there is a remedy. What is the remedy for the beloved? Abu Dharr.
وَفِيAnd inمُسْتَنَدٍthe sourceالْإِمَامِof the ImamأَحْمَدَAhmedمِنْfromحَدِيثٍthe hadithأُسَامَةَUsamaوَشَرِيكٍand Sharikعَنْaboutالنَّبِيِّthe Prophetصَلَّىpeaceيَسْمَعُwith the nameطَيِّبَةًTayyibaوَسَلَّمَand bless.
And in the source of the Imam Ahmed from the hadith of Usama and Sharik about the Prophet, may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him.
قَالَhe saidإِنَّIndeedاللَّـهُAllahيُنَزِّلُrevealsذَاthatلَاnotأَنزَلَهُhis revelationشِفَاءًhealing.
He said: "Indeed Allah reveals healing."
عِلْمُهُHis knowledgeمِنِّيis from meعِلَّةٌafflictionوَجَمِيلَةٌand beautyمِنْofجُمَلَةٍthe totality.وَفِيAnd inلَفْظٍanother wordingأَزthatاللَّـهُAllahلَمْdid notيَضَعْplaceدَاءًa diseaseإِلَّاexceptوَضَعَhe putلَهُfor itشِفَاءًhealing.أَوْorدَوَاءًa remedy.أَبَالَةًthe burden.رَاهُof it.وَاحِدًاone.قَالُواThey saidيَاOرَسُولَthe Messengerاللَّـهِof Allah.
His knowledge from me is affliction and beauty of the totality. And in another wording, Allah did not place a disease except that He placed for it healing or a remedy. They said: 'O Messenger of Allah.
