وَقَدْAndتَوَلَّىtook uponتَخْرِيجَthe verificationالْأَحَادِيثِof the hadithsوَالْآثَارِand the narrationsالْوَارِدَةِreportedفِيinالْكِتَابِthe bookأَخِيmy brotherالشَّيْخِsheikhزَائِدِZaidبْنِson ofأَحْمَدَAhmedالنَّشِيرِيِّthe Nashiriفَجَزَاهُmay God reward himاللَّهُGodخَيْرًاwell
And my brother Sheikh Zaid bin Ahmed al-Nashiri took upon himself the verification of the hadiths and narrations reported in the book, may God reward him well.
وَإِذَاAnd ifاجْتَمَعَتْthey are gatheredفِيinحَاشِيَةٍthe marginواحِدَةٍoneتَعْلِيقِيَّةٍof my commentaryوَتَعْلِيقِand the commentaryالشَّيْخِof the SheikhزَائِدٍZaidمَيَّزْتُI distinguishedبَيْنَهُمَاbetween themبِالْرَّمْزِby the symbolإِلَيْهِto itبِحَرْفٍwith the letterالزَّايِZayوَإِلَىand toنَفْسِيmyselfبِحَرْفٍwith the letterالصَّادِSadوَقَدْand I haveاِكْتَفَيْتُsatisfiedأَحْيَانًاsometimesبِإِثْبَاتِby provingالرَّمْزِthe symbolفِيinآخِرِthe lastالتَّعْلِيقِcommentaryالأَوَّلِthe first
And if my commentary and Sheikh Zaid's commentary are gathered in one margin, I distinguished between them by symbolizing it with the letter Zay for his commentary and the letter Sad for myself. I have sometimes been satisfied by proving the symbol at the end of the first commentary.
وَأَخِيرًاAnd finallyأَعَدَّتُI preparedفَهَارِسَindexesمُتَنَوِّعَةًvariousتَكْشِفُthat revealعَمَّاwhatيَتَضَمَّنُthe book includesالْكِتَابَthe bookمِنْofالْلَّطَائِفِthe subtletiesوَالْفَوَائِدِand benefitsبِالْإِضَافَةِin additionإِلَىtoالْفَهْرَسِthe indexالْمُفَصَّلِdetailedلِمَطَالِبِfor the subjectsالْكِتَابِof the book
And finally, I have prepared various indexes that reveal what the book includes of subtleties and benefits, in addition to the detailed index for the subjects of the book.
وَبَعْدَAnd afterفَهَذِهِthis isأُولَىthe firstنَشْرَةٍpublicationعِلْمِيَّةٍscientificلِلْكِتَابِfor the bookأَرْجوI hopeأَنْthatيَكُونَit isنَصُّهَاits textمُقَارِبًاcloseلِمَاto whatصَدَرَwas publishedعَنْaboutالْمُؤَلِّفِthe authorرَحِمَهُmay he have mercyاللَّهُGod
And after, this is the first scientific publication of the book, I hope that its text is close to what was published by the author, may God have mercy on him.
