The soldiers of disobedience were strengthened by support, so they became helpers against him.

Section: And among the things, which is the most fearful of them against the servant, is that it weakens the heart from its will.

So, the will of disobedience strengthens, and the will of repentance weakens, little by little until the will of repentance is completely stripped from his heart.

If he dies half of him, he would not repent to Allah.

Then comes from the seeking of forgiveness and the repentance of the liars by tongue with something much, while his heart is bound to disobedience, persistently upon it, determined to commit it whenever he is able.

And among them is that it becomes stripped from the heart the repugnance to it, so it becomes a habit for him, so he does not dislike from himself seeing the people for him nor their words about him.

And this for the masters of disobedience is the pinnacle of debauchery and the fulfillment of pleasure, until one of them boasts about the disobedience and informs those who do not know that he did it, saying: 'O so and so, you did such and such!'
