وَذَكَرَAnd mentionedابْنَthe son ofأَبِيAbuالدُّنْيَاthe world(۱)عَنْaboutوَهْبٍWahbبْنِbinمُنَبِّهٍMunabbihقَالَhe said:لَمَّاWhenأَصَابَhe committedدَاوُدَDavidالْخَطِيئَةَthe sinقَالَhe said:يَا رَبِّO Lordاغْفِرْforgiveلِيَme.

And Ibn Abi Dunya mentioned about Wahb bin Munabbih, he said: When David committed the sin, he said: O Lord, forgive me.

قَالَHe said:قَدْI haveغَفَرْتُforgivenلَكَyou،وَأَلْزَمْتُand imposedعَارَهَاits disgraceبَنِيupon the children ofإِسْرَائِيلَIsrael.

He said: I have forgiven you, and I have imposed its disgrace upon the children of Israel.

قَالَHe said:يَاOرَبِّLordكَيْفَhowوَأَنْتَand Youالْحَكَمُthe judgeالْعَدْلُthe justلَاdo notتَظْلِمْwrongأَحَدًاanyone،أَعْمَلُI commitأَنَاIالْخَطِيئَةَthe sin(٢)،وَيُلْزِمُand imposeعَارَهَاits disgraceغَيْرِيon someone else؟

He said: O Lord, how can it be, when You are the judge, the just, and do not wrong anyone, that I commit the sin, and its disgrace is imposed on someone else?

فَأَوْحَىThen Allah revealedاللَّهُGodإِلَيْهِto him:إِنَّكَIndeed, youلَمَّاwhenعَمِلْتَyou committedالْخَطِيئَةَthe sin(٣)لَمْthey did notيُعَجِّلُواhastenعَلَيْكَagainst youبِالْإِنْكَارِwith the denial..

Then Allah revealed to him: Indeed, when you committed the sin, they did not hasten against you with the denial.

وَذَكَرَAnd mentionedابْنَthe son ofأَبِيAbuالدُّنْيَاthe world(4)عَنْaboutأَنَسٍAnasبْنِbinمَالِكٍMalikأَنَّهُthat heدَخَلَenteredعَلَىuponعَائِشَةَAishaهُوَhe isالْمُنْكَرُthe denier(۷۰)وَسَندُهُand his chain of narratorsحَسَنٌis goodإِلَىtoمَسْعَرَMas'arبْنِbinكُدَامٍKadam.

And Ibn Abi Dunya mentioned about Anas bin Malik that he entered upon Aisha, he is the denier, and his chain of narrators is good to Mas'ar bin Kadam.

(۱)فِيInالْعُقُوبَاتِthe penalties(۱٥)وَفِيAnd inالرَّقَّةِthe gentlenessوَالبُّكَاءِand crying(۳۸۷)وَفِيAnd inالْأَمْرِthe commandبِالْمَعْرُوفِfor good conductوَالنَّهْيِand the prohibitionعَنْfromالْمُنْكَرِthe inappropriate(۷۲)وَالْمِقْدِسِيُّAnd Al-Maqdisiفِيinالْأَمْرِthe commandبِالْمَعْرُوفِfor good conductوَالنَّهْيِand the prohibitionعَنْfromالْمُنْكَرِthe inappropriate(٧۶)(ز).

In the penalties (15) and in the gentleness and crying (387) and in the command for good conduct and the prohibition from the inappropriate (72) and Al-Maqdisi in the command for good conduct and the prohibition from the inappropriate (76).

وَالْقِصَصُAnd the narrativesوَالأَخْبَارُand the newsالْوَارِدَةُthat cameفِيinخَطِيئَةِthe sin ofدَاوُدَDavidأَكْثَرُهَاmost of themمِنْfromأَكَاذِيبِliesالْيَهُودِthe Jews(ص).

And the narratives and the news that came regarding the sin of David, most of them are lies from the Jews.

(۲)لِ:For:«أَعْمَلُ"I commitالْخَطِيئَةَthe sin".

For: "I commit the sin."

(۳)وَيُلْزِمُAnd he imposesعَارَهَاits disgrace......الْخَطِيئَةَthe sinسَاقِطَةٌis droppedمِنْfromزZ.

And he imposes its disgrace... the sin is dropped from Z.

(٤)فِيInالْعُقُوبَاتِthe penalties(۱۷)مِنْfromطَرِيقِthe pathمُحَمَّدٍMuhammadبْنِbinنَاصِحٍNasihعَنْaboutبَقِيَّةَBaqiyaبْنِbinالْوَلِيدِAl-WalidعَنْaboutيَزِيدَYazidبْنِbinعَبْدِ اللَّهAbdullahالْجُهَنِيِّAl-Juhaniحَدَّثَنِيhe narrated to meأَبُوAbuالْعَلَاءِAl-AlaعَنْaboutأَنَسٍAnasفَذَكَرَهُso he mentioned it.

In the penalties (17) from the path of Muhammad bin Nasih about Baqiya bin Al-Walid about Yazid bin Abdullah Al-Juhani, Abu Al-Ala narrated to me about Anas, so he mentioned it.

وَأَخْرَجَAnd he brought outنَعِيمٌNaimبْنِbinحَمَّادٍHammadفِيinالْفِتَنِthe tribulations(٤٢٠)وَمِنْAnd fromطَرِيقِهِhis pathالْحَاكِمِthe rulerفِيinالْمُسْتَدْرَكِthe Mustadrak(۵٦۱/٤--۵٦۲)(۸۵۷۵)عَنْaboutبَقِيَّةَBaqiyaعَنْaboutيَزِيدَYazidبْنِbinعَبْدِ اللَّهAbdullahالْجُهَنِيِّAl-JuhaniعَنْaboutأَبِيAbuالْعَالِيَةِAl-A'laعَنْaboutأَنَسٍAnasفَذَكَرَهُso he mentioned itبِزِيَادَةٍwith an additionفِيهِin it.

And Naim bin Hammad brought out in the tribulations (420) and from his path the ruler in the Mustadrak (561/4 - 562) (8575) about Baqiya about Yazid bin Abdullah Al-Juhani about Abu Al-A'la about Anas, so he mentioned it with an addition in it.

قَالَHe said:هَذَاThisحَدِيثٌnarrationصَحِيحٌis authenticعَلَىuponشَرْطِthe condition ofمُسْلِمٍMuslimوَلَمْand notيُخْرِجَاهُthey narrated it.

He said: This narration is authentic upon the condition of Muslim, and they did not narrate it.

وَعَقَبَهُAnd he followed itالذَّهَبِيُّAl-Dhahabiبِقَوْلِهِwith his sayingبَلْRatherأَحْسِبُهُI think it isمَوْضُوعًاfabricatedعَلَىagainstأَنَسٍAnasوَنَعِيمٍand Naimمُنْكَرٌis weakالْحَدِيثُthe narrationإِلَىtoالْغَايَةِthe utmost،مَعَwithأَنَّthatالْبُخَارِيَّAl-Bukhariرَوَىnarratedعَنْهُfrom him

And Al-Dhahabi followed it with his saying: Rather, I think it is fabricated against Anas, and Naim is weak in the narration to the utmost, with that Al-Bukhari narrated from him.

قُلْتُI said:طَرِيقُThe pathابْنِof the son ofأَبِيAbuالدُّنْيَاthe worldأَشْبَهُis similarبِالْصَّوَابِto the truth:لِأَنَّbecauseنَعِيمًاNaimمُتَكَلِّمٌis questionedفِيهِin himوَيُخْشَىand it is fearedمِنَfromالْمَتْرُوكِينَthe abandonedوَالْمَجْهُولِينَand the unknownوَلَمْand did notيُصَرِّحْclarifyهُنَاhereبِالسَّمَاعِof hearingوَأَيْضًاand alsoيَزِيدَYazidبْنِbinعَبْدِ اللَّهAbdullahقَالَhe saidوَأَبُوand AbuالْعَلَاءِAl-Alaهَذَاthisيُحْتَمَلُis possibleأَنْthatلَاnotيَصِحَّbe correctخَبَرَهُhis report،ثُمَّThenذَكَرَhe mentionedأَثَرًاa narrationعَنْaboutابْنِthe son ofعُمَرَOmar.

I said: The path of Ibn Abi Dunya is similar to the truth, because Naim is questioned in him and it is feared from the abandoned and the unknown, and he did not clarify here of hearing, and also Yazid bin Abdullah said, and Abu Al-Ala, this is possible that his report is not correct, then he mentioned a narration about the son of Omar.

الذَّهَبِيُّAl-Dhahabiيَكُونُmay يكونيَزِيدُYazidبْنِbinدِرْهَمٍDirhamفَقَدْfor he hasوَثَقَهُtrusted himالْفَلَّاسُAl-FalasوَقَالَAnd saidابْنُbinمَعِينٍMa'inلَيْسَhe is notبِشَيْءٍanything،وَقَالَand saidابْنُbinحِبَّانَHibanفِيinالثِّقَاتِthe trustworthyيُخْطِئُhe makes mistakesكَثِيرًاa lot.

Al-Dhahabi may say: Yazid bin Dirham, for he has been trusted by Al-Falas, and Ma'in said he is not anything, and Hiban said in the trustworthy he makes mistakes a lot.

وَيُحْتَمَلُAnd it is possibleأَنْthatيَكُونَbeمُوسَىMusaأorأَبَاAbuالْعَلَاءِAl-Alaالَّذِيwhoيَرْوِيnarratesعَنْهُ: حَمَّادٌHammadبْنِbinسَلْمَةَSalamahقَالَsaidالْحُسَيْنِيُّAl-HusayniلَاI do notأَعْرِفُهُknow him،وَيُحْتَمَلُand it is possibleأَنْthatيَكُونَbeمُوسَىMusaأorأَبَاAbuالْعَلَاءِAl-Alaهَذَاthisيُحْتَمَلُis possibleأَنْthatلَاnotيَصِحَّbe correctخَبَرُهُhis report.

And it is possible that Musa or Abu Al-Ala, who narrates from him: Hammad bin Salamah said, Al-Husayni said I do not know him, and it is possible that Musa or Abu Al-Ala, this is possible that his report may not be correct.
